We choose to thank all of the Avantel Plumbing of Louisville KY Plumbing workplace team of workers and technicians for all their tough work, getting the job executed correctly, friendliness, and professionalism. Avantel Plumbing of Louisville KY did a couple of distinctive repairs inside days of one another. They constant a bend pipe without delay below our toilet. We have been instructed this was once constant by using some other plumbing enterprise in the past. We are in the manner of promoting our residence and observed out there was once nonetheless a crack from the inspector. Dustin and Justin labored very difficult to make certain this ongoing difficulty used to be constant and constant correctly. We additionally observed out that our washing computer spigots have been dripping. Avantel Plumbing of Louisville KY was once capable to get that scheduled proper away too. Dustin did a extremely good job fixing these as properly (in the center of a snow storm at that). We wanted to get it finished shortly - and it was. To say that they have been extraordinarily honest in their pricing is an understatement. As a count number of truth they may want to have charged us greater than the estimated rate due to the fact the job used to be greater difficult than they anticipated. The important cause is that the pipe is in a very small crawl space. Any different plumber would have charged us notably more. I had conversation with Liz and different workplace personnel and they have been all expert and very friendly. Which is, unfortunately, nearly unheard of these days. I cannot say adequate exact matters about Avantel Plumbing of Louisville KY Plumbing and will be recommending them to all and sundry I know! THANKS SO MUCH, I APPRECIATE YOU Avantel Plumbing of Louisville KY.

Kentuckiana Plumbing gave me a great price on a gas line installation I needed. Everyone else was overpriced and anyone under his price didn't seem competent to me. He showed up when he said, was here about as long as he said and got the job done perfectly and most importantly, safely. I will use Kentuckiana plumbing in the future when I need a plumber.

We had a tankless water heater installed. It was a big job and required some extra attention. The team was great from start to finish! The quote was quick and reasonably priced, everyone was very professional, so nice, early, and worked so hard to make everything not only work well, but look good too. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Cannot even get them to come out to quote me on a job. They say they are going to call to schedule, but they don't. I pushed and they said that they needed to get some more info from the guy who finally did stop by and glance at the issue. What their website states about their dedication to customer service is a sham. Just call Crestwood Plumbing.

This company is awesome. Our water heater went out and flooded our basement. The home warranty company referred us to a company that only had a 1-star rating and horrible reviews. My husband and I did not feel confident in the referral. We had heard good things about E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing. We reached out for their services, and they did not disappoint. My husband mentioned how professional they were. They took their time to make sure the job was done right. I'm very thankful for a company that still believes in giving the client the quality of service that they would want to receive.

Unprofessional. Said he'd have my bathrooms done in a couple days. Started the work and after two days left work unfinished for over a week
I gave him key to my house which he said he would only use then told me later that my key had been lost by his employee. Had to change all my door locks. Brought in an inclosed tub when l specifically asked for a enclosed shower. My mistake was not allowing him to start work without everything in writing. He kept saying he was working on it. The only thing l got in writing was his bill handwritten on a receipt. His employees that worked on the project left cigarette butts, bottles and cans and garbage scattered in the house and all over the yard. I cleaned it up after they disappeared for over a week. I had to try to reach him for days to see what was going on. I have no idea how he has been in business as long as he has. He didn't get a permit from the city until the work was almost finished and l had called the city to see if he had gotten one! Unprofessional shouldn't be in business.

When we bought our house in J-Town nearly 4 years ago we found out that the addition (added in '2000) had radiant heat. I was, like, AWESOME, because while fan-forced heat is the norm, bare feet on a heated floor is a pretty cool thing, especially in the cooler months.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when Jim (that's me!) noticed that the floor wasn't warm, even though I'd turned the radiant heat on. Checking the circulation pumps I noticed the one for our bedroom was really but not circulating hot water. This makes for unhappy Jim, because the sole reason I go barefoot in the bedroom (did ya catch that pun?) is that I likes the warm on the feets.
As realization set it, I decided that as much as I could *try* to replace the circulation pumps myself (Jim is a pretty handy guy), but I didn't want to run into something that would have ended up costing me more to fix and if I'd have called an expert in the first place.
To the yellow pages I go (that's purely a figure of speech any more...seriously) to see abut getting the pumps replaced. I started w/Drexler (who replaced our HVAC system a couple years ago). -- They don't do radiant (or, as I've come to learn, Hydronic) heat.
I called Jarboe's -- Nope.
I called Maeser -- Nope.
After a few disappointing phone calls that weren't getting me any closer to warming my feet, I tried a different approach. Instead of calling and trying my luck, I called the local plumbing supply business and asked the question Who in the area services residential hydronic heating?. They had one answer.
Blackburn and Davis was that answer.
I called to see if I could get someone out to fix my cold feet problem and they said they'd give me a call on Monday morning to see when someone would be out. Monday morning I got a phone call and was told they'd be out that morning. Less than an hour later they were at my front door.
I let them in and told them what the problem was and he started to diagnose the issue. In less then 10 minutes he had figured it out, said he had the parts he needed on the truck, and gave me an estimate. A quick call to the wife to let her know what was going on, and they went right to work.
As I watched (I'm an observer, not the hover over a guy and ask a bunch of questions to slow him down kinda guy.) I could tell that he was experienced at replacing these pumps and knew what he was doing.
Remember when I said I thought about buying the pumps and doing it myself? I was about 2/3 of the way correct. One of the bolts from the old pump wouldn't come off, so he had to use a nifty little round electrical hand-held saw to for that part (Jim doesn't have one of those). There were also a couple other parts that were needed that Jim probably didn't have, either.
About 90 minutes later the pumps were replaced, the work area was cleaned up, and Jim's feet were warm again.
I definitely made the right choice in calling Blackburn and Davis.
