These guys have a promotion for a free furnace if you buy an AC. An AC is listed on their website as anywhere from $4,000 to $7,000 to buy and install. So you figure that with the free furnace, the price should also be anywhere from $4000 to $7000 to buy and install. However, this is a scam promotion. I got a quote for a tiny 850 sq foot house, and the cheapest they told me they could do it was $8500 to $9000, or MORE THAN DOUBLE what an AC says it should cost on their website. The guy told me that this is due to the fact that the promotion does not cover labor on switching out the heater. That's obnoxious, as it does not cost $5000 in labor to switch out a heater. This is classic bait and switch, and when I pointed this out to the guy, he just got really mad and said they can get away doing it because they are the best and not cut rate. No, sir, you are running a scam promotion.
