They came out and fixed my 22 year old AC unit without giving me a quote and charged me $700 for a leak! They said the cost was the freon they added....well my AC went out again 2 weeks later. They said it needed replacement and quoted me $5,100 with only a $100 discount from the useless charge that wasn't approved by me before!!
When my second and 3rd opinion came out they were shocked because there was WAY too much freon and said whoever fixed it had NO IDEA what they were doing and almost blew up my unit. The 3rd opinion referral I had come out not only fixed it for free temporarily, but only charge $ 3,800 for the new unit.
I Also would like to add that they wouldn't budge on price because they said it was the only 10 year warranty around. Well, EVERY other person has offered a 10 year warranty and New Circle was nothing but lying, dirty, conducting bad business and claiming to be Christian. They are a JOKE- do not use them!!

Rob came to fix my furnace and he was very nice and professional and they were a very reasonable price I highly recommend this company I've used other companies in the past and have had nothing but problems they've made my issues worse so now I'm going to stick with New Circle from now on anytime I have an issue with anything in my home.

Their technician Rob K. spent 4 hours to replace a pipe connection and install a new dishwasher which he did incorrectly. Luckily their was some damage, so I had to get a replacement and home depot installed it for free. The guys who installed the replacement took 1 hour and said almost everything Rob K. had done was incorrect. I feel like I got ripped off and I will never ever use this company again!

Have use NCM several times before and always satisfied with the work but this last time has left me wondering if I shouldn't have just used the money to put a third down on new dryer. Service man came out on Wednesday and immediately found the problem to not starting was door switch, less then 10 minutes, was charged $59.50 for this common problem. Of course they don't carry parts anymore and he had to go pick up one. Came back Thursday with little $30.00 (?) part, raised lid and installed it in less then 5 minutes. Gave me new bill for additional $89.50 which included another service run, but he smiled and said I'm not going to charge you a labor charge. Now that was Really Big of him. Think the next repair will start with a call to Angie's list. Being a loyal customer doesn't mean much to these guys.

We have been unable to get anyone to come to our house and help get our gas fireplace to work. I went online this morning and as soon as I put my request in, I had a phone call confirming that I needed help. Then Griffin Kennedy called me to get our appointment set up. He called to let me know he was on the way and I met him at my house. He explained everything that he had to do and even gave me tips on how to care for the fireplace. He was awesome. I will definitely call NCM Inc again. Thanks Griffin! You are pretty awesome!

Shawn is AMAZING!!! The guys at New Circle heard my issues and definitely sent the right man for the job. My wiring issues were saved quickly, and they even gave me advice on how to prevent future issues with my remodeling nightmare. I can't say enough good things about New Circle Mechanical. I was referred to New Circle Mechanical by a friend and contacted them to set up an A/C check and clean inspection. Jason promptly returned my call and was able to set me up with an appointment the following day. I was given a 4-hour window and was pleasantly surprised when Shawn called to tell me he was on his way about 20 minutes before the start of the time window. Shawn was patient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. When it came time to pay, there was a discrepancy between the special Jason quoted and the charge Shawn wrote up, but Shawn quickly made it right. Will definitely be calling for a quote once we are ready to replace our HVAC system.

the furnace broke down again just within few weeks after they were there last time.(the first time cost me $870) This time, it took them 2 days and 5 hours each day to diagnose the problem and still couldn't tell me what went wrong. Never call me with the update or even an estimate. Always get the answer I will give you a call back very soon whenever I questioned about the part price or estimate. I have to be the one to call them. Didn't even get a call before they place in order for the part. Aren't you suppose to call your client with the price and estimate before you pursue any work or at least an update info without your client being the one keep calling? well..... still waiting for the call back as he promised many many times and .......... No, furnace is still not fixed!!

this company is really a joke. they never call back, never went back with the part that they bought and suppose to replace, and they never even send me the bill. I thought because they figured they couldn't fix the problem after 2 days and10 hours labor on one freaking furnace, they would just leave it as it is. then now almost 4 months later, they send me a bill of $1000 for the job they never finish and accused me well, this shouldn't be the reason not paying your bill!
They waited till months later to send out the bill and asked me to pay or they will send it to the collector because it overdue for so long then that will ruin my credit!! Nice way to blackmail your customer. He offered me a 10% discount but $900 for a job that they never finish & with that kind of customers service??!! WTX.... I had to hire someone else to finish the job which only took that guy 2 hours and cost me $300 to actually fix the furnace.

Very Disappointed with Company Policy. Had a great service and electrician came out for full day job. We had an issue with lights that went out in the mud room after the electrician left, we assumed it was a function of the work done. We called them back and they visited the next day and said it was on a different circuit and not out a service run and requested 89.95 for the service call. We disputed the charge because it was just too much of a coincidence with the fixed outlet next to the light and blew out. We received a call later informing us that electrician was docked the pay because he did not collect when here. I was upset that the most important person in the company, the electrician who did amazing work, was punished because of our dispute and his pay was docked. I immediately payed the bill and more (to tip him) to ensure the electrician is not penalized for my dispute. Wish someone would have called me before telling their most important person they wouldn't get paid. I had a long talk with a service manger that explained the policy of collecting at time of service and explained there should be a better process for dispute resolution to avoid the one who is most important getting not being paid. Frustrated consumer, but electrician was very nice and did great work.

I hired a new Circle mechanical to come fix a two prong outlet and check out my electrical panel of which both are next to each other in my basement.
My 89 service call turned out to be a $745 padded bill.
The first electrician that showed up was only here 5 to 10 minutes before another electrician John arrived
I later found out the next day that John was the owner of the company
They went on a wild goose chase, even demanding to see my water heater looking for every single thing they could find wrong in my home
They had several different things going on all at the same time. At one point I had to finally tell them we were out of time they had to leave
They claimed that I had a 30 V showing on the ground wire in a kitchen outlet, and it was extremely dangerous. Since they have been here, I have had to reputable company’s, certified electricians here in Louisville look at the same issue and both have told me independently there is no issue there is no 30 V on the ground wire and the outlet is safe.
I question their abilities as electricians, but more importantly, John’s business practices. I did not give permission for two electricians to be here. I was not given a choice, but charged for both of their time.
I did not ask them to look through my entire house, nor did I ask them to look at my water heater. John used very unethical business practices to pad my bill and to bully me.
They had not even left my home before I called the office to complain and the
next day, when I called to tell them I hadn’t heard from anybody John returned my call immediately.
At this point he informed me he was the owner of the company. He began to yell at me, scream at me and would not allow me to even voice any of my concerns. He was rude, arrogant, and started to threaten me. I immediately hung up.
My word of warning is be very careful if you hire this company. My issues did not get fixed and I got duped and bullied into a $745 bill
There are much better electricians, who have better worth ethics than John and new Circle mechanical.

prompted identified the problem and was able to make it so we did not need to leave the house. Then they quickly scheduled the pull out and install of the burned wires and breakers and box. very satisfied with the

These people are scam artists. Started replacing parts on my gas furnace when the tech couldn't diagnose the problem. Charged me over $2000 for parts, installation. The problem ended up being a blocked furnace exhaust which I found and cleared.

Called them out for a leaking ejector pump. Shawn, the technician, was prompt and professional. He diagnosed the issue, answered my questions and explained how he would fix the leak. Although he did not have the part on his truck, he was quick to return from the supply house. The repair was made.
I have used this company for work at my personal residence and rental properties. I have recommended them to friends and family and I will continue to use them in the future.

Cost: $120/labor hour, $60 service call. Time to make repair 1.5 hours. Total cost appx $300

I was looking for someone to do repairs on a piece of rental property in Louisville. When they came right up front they let us know they were not sure what the problem was, but gave us some ideas what they thought might be the problem. They gave us estimation of cost and we decided to try them. They came and did the work. The cost was under estimation, but told us things they could not get done that should be done so we elected to have them come back and do the rest of the work next week. They told us everything they were doing and why. Shaw was our repair man and was great.

I contacted New Circle on 10/30/18 to help me determine if my microwave problems (kept shorting out) were due to a broader electrical issue. They tightened the breaker and said it may need further investigation if the microwave problem persisted. I paid $231.60 for this advice.

I contacted New Circle again on 3/14/19 as the microwave problems continued. This time they noted several electrical panel issues and recommended a $2,500 new system. I paid $220 for this advice.

At this point, New Circle had not addressed my primary concern: is my electrical system causing my microwave to malfunction? However, they had collected $451.60.

I then contacted another electrician that quickly realized that the electrical system was providing enough amps for the microwave and that it must be an issue with the microwave.

GE has confirmed this microwave had been recently redesigned due to a bad door sensor. They are replacing the microwave.

I explained the situation to New Circle and requested a refund of at least one of the two charges. I did not originally ask them if I needed a new electrical system. I asked them if the electrical system was causing the microwave to short out. They misdiagnosed the problem, tried to up-sell me a $2,500 system and is now arguing that lightning or a power surge caused the issues with my breakers and microwave. They charged me $451.60 for this level of service.

I contacted New Circle for an install of a disposal on my sink in the kitchen.
I never even thought that I would need electrical for it, but luckily, Mike had it figured out already!
After a phone call, Rob showed up, ran a circuit for my disposal, Mike then did the install of their provided disposal (the one I bought on Amazon was for commercial use, saved me 159 dollars)
And everything is just perfect.
These guys can fix anything in your home, Rob even tightened up my front door!

They were prompt and on time. I had some bathroom remodeling work to get done and they had to climb in the attic and deal with some improperly done electric in the past. The gentleman had to change out some junction boxes and I was with him the whole time and saw how messy and untapped the prior electric work was so I know they didn't take any shortcuts and likely prevented a house fire. The gentleman didn't stop working the whole time was focused ao there was no wasted time nor billing. The price for the firat viait when having to go i to the attic was a bit high, 1k for 5 hours of work, but that included aome junction boxes and sockets etc. I would have guessed 600-700. However, he communicated what he was doing the whole time and showing me everything that was going on. Again he didn't waste any time or sit idle. The second visit they came back to do some finish up work after the drywaller's. He was here from 9 AM, on time, until 430 and put in several fans and lights and removed old wiring. I also have Chase a mouse out of the attic. He had to run and go get some supplies and ran an exhaust line from the bathroom fan that should've been installed when the house was built. He did very good work and was very dilligent. This time it was $900 total for working all day from 9-5.
Although a bit high, it was major work and lots of redoing bad work from the builder. I will use them again.

Their Dispatch is amazing. Jason is so helpful with determining the technicians who are right for each job. He works with all schedules to try and insure the appointment goes quickly, and smoothly. He keeps communication updated, as well as any issues or changes. Nothing happens until you're ready, comfortable with the job starting.
His availability to help with any issues is something that made us feel comfortable. He works with you to actually help.

We've used them before and they've been great but the past two times there have been inconsistencies that just dont make sense. Shawn (Sean?) came at 10:30 and a little after noon I looked outside with his van nowhere to be seen. The van came back and he came in a little while after and claimed to have worked from 10:30 to 6:30. Of course, I wasn't there when he was paid so he got the full amount, when otherwise I would have protested. The previous time another tenant of the house caught him sitting in the van doing nothing for an extended period of time. We were told we'd be paying 500 and ended up charged over 200$ more. I don't think we'll ever be using their services again.

I will never recommend anyone to this company. They never fixed my problem. They were sent by my warranty company HSC (Home service club). to fixed my air. Instead they created another problem and almost burned my house down according to LGE whom they told me to call because the whole power went out in my home. With still no air and they said it's not their fault I have a bad compressor. Duh that's why I paid you IDIOTS for to diagnosis and fix the problem. The LGE technician called them Jack leg mechanics. I believe so.
When I am done with them they will be out business. Or no business. I repeat DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE JACK LEGGERS!!!

We just had their plumbers out to replace a shower faucet. They did. A through inspection and told that the cost of replacing it wound be Much higher than the cost of his rebuilding our current one. So that is what we went with. We really appreciate their dude diligence, and looking out for our pocketbook! They were very knowledgeable and professional. We would have them rerun to do more plumbing or electrical in the future.

Awful experience and would never do business with them again. The on-site electrician was nice and professional but very inefficient. We were told prior to scheduling an appointment that placing new light switch plates would take about 5-10 minutes each. After two hours of work, we only had 3 light switch plates changed and 1 ceiling light placed. When we called to complain that we didn't feel like we received $250 worth of services, the manager, John, became defensive and accused us of only being worried about the money. It was outrageous. I agree with the previous review that the customer service was deplorable. According to this company, the customer is always wrong.

The very first time we used our gas fireplace this season, it went out on us after running for only a couple of minutes. We made many phone calls to find someone to service it, but almost everyone we called was booked up well into January. We called New Circle Mechanical, and they were able to come out within 48 hours.

Griff was the NCM technician that came to service our gas fireplace. He was very professional, personable and thorough . He explained what he was going to do to determine the problem. He performed some safety checks, and he had our unit serviced and running within 15 minutes.

We highly recommend NCM!! Give them a call!!

We have used them several times as our 20 year old home HVAC system starts to need repairs (usually, of course, when the temp is either 90+ or zero). They've always been on time and always fixed the problem the same day. They DO give us a range of options including more expensive replacements and less expensive repairs, always explain the pros and cons, and never push us to pay for something we don't need. Prices seem reasonable to me, in line with any kid of on-call repair service.

JB came out to fix an extensive electrical problem I had been having, he gave me an estimate on how much it would cost. He explained what was the problem.
He fixed the problem on time, and on budget.
He work was neat, and professional. Frankly I don’t know how he made it look so easy.
Had another company out they didn’t even know what was wrong.

On 7/6, I hired NCM / New Circle Mechanical to inspect problems with my AC system.

The technician, Rob, arrived on-time at 12:00.

I attempted to tell him what I had been observing that might help him diagnose the problem, but he abruptly informed me: I'm only here for 15 minutes, and you've talked through several of them. I know you are cost conscious, so I need to do what I need to do. I can't stay any longer than 15 minutes, because after 15 minutes my boss isn't making money, and if my boss isn't making money, then I'm not making money. So I let him do what he needed to do. He inspected the inside and outside units and determined that they both needed to be cleaned, and 2 parts in the outside unit needed to be replaced. He said (verbally) I would be looking at around $600. I gave him approval to move forward. While he was working outside I caught the tail end of a phone conversation between Rob and someone back at the office, discussing the job. The party on the other end of the phone said, When I talked to him, I thought it would be $1000. Lo and behold, when he finished, the bill was $976. Rob said he was sorry that I misunderstood that the $600 was just the labor estimate. For the 2 parts that were replaced, I was charged $159 and $129. Upon later research, I discovered that both parts are available online for less than $20 each. Not comparable parts. Not knockoffs. Not refurbished parts. The exact same manufacturers and part numbers, brand new. Markup is reasonable. 1000% is not. But they had pre-determined it was a $1000 job.

On 7/7, with no improvement to my system, and the knowledge of the actual parts prices, I contacted NCM and spoke to the Dispatcher, Jason, to express my disappointment. He defended the charge for the parts, stating they provide a one-year warranty on them, and they would not warranty Amazon parts, I guess not realizing they were the exact same parts. Jason said he would take all of my concerns to the Supervisor and gave me his word that he would call me back Monday (7/10) to talk about how to resolve the issue. Well, it's a good thing I didn't depend on his word, and sought immediate resolution elsewhere, because as of today, 7/21, 2 weeks later, he has yet to honor his word and call me back. To be honest, this is fine, because even if Jason would have offered to come back out and continue working to resolve the problem for no additional charge, I wouldn't have been comfortable with them back in my house. My trust in them has been irreparably breached. I - the cost-conscious guy, mind you - am happier to have paid extra for another company to actually fix the problem, than have had NCM back out for free. The other company, by the way, was willing to be patient and listened and - go figure - correctly diagnosed, then solved, the problem.

It is also worth pointing out some more minor concerns I have regarding the tech's professionalism:
1. Regarding Rob's comment quoted above. That's not exactly how I expect to be spoken to as a fellow human being, much less a paying customer. But, if I am cost-conscious, why is that a bad thing? And, of the 2 of us in that conversation, who was the one concerned about cost?
2. Listening is an important professional skill. Perhaps if Rob had listened to me, he may have been successful at diagnosing the problem, and then solving it.
3. His work was very sloppy. The coils on both units were only about 75% clean. In the outside unit, he didn't even bother cleaning the debris from the bottom. I expect much higher quality of work from a technician being paid $180/hour.
4. He spent approximately the last 20-30 minutes on the clock in his truck.
5. To Rob's credit, my cat liked him, and she doesn't typically like any other males.

But kudos to NCM. They skillfully deprived me of $1000. Let them enjoy that. You got me.

Big John is by far the most knowledgeable tradesman you will ever have in your home. He has been working on our home for years. We were in a position where our home had suffered an electrical surge and was being covered by our insurance. Well a crooked adjuster was trying to deny our claim until Big John got the whole situation straightened out. I would highly recommend!

My home was struck by lightning. Had to replace furnace, water heater, air conditioning compressor, and electrical service panel box and meter housing box. Technicians were professional and i was quite happy with the price of the replacement equipment and parts. The technicians even handled some of the negotiating with the insurance adjusters. Got everything covered from the lightning strike with the exception of the water heater, were going to cover it until they found out its age. They ended up finding another issue after installing the new electrical service panel box. When L.G.& E. was called to turn the electricity back on, they found that the underground line that feeds into the meter from the transformer was damaged and not energizing the line fully. L.G. & E then had their contractor replace the line. Was real impressed with their knowledge and technical expertise. My overall experience in this transaction was one of overall gratitude. Can't say enough great things about the job that was done ant that of the people employed by New Circle Mechanical.

Came out to fix our heater on multiple appointments. Each time they told us that they didn't have a part and would have to wait until another day, or that they fixed it when they really did not. After four times, we finally called Prudential and they took 20 minutes or less to fix our heater. So New Circle Mechanical was either incompentent or price gouging us by charging us for multiple visits.

In the past, I had wonderful experiences with this company. I'm not sure what has changed, but now they are terrible. My furnace went out in October, we paid $200 for a service call, where they literally just changed the filter and called it a day. I was told then that it was only a temporary solution, and they would be ordering a new motor for the unit. However, the guy who did that service call apparently quit soon after and did not provide the company with records of my service call. No motor was ordered, and my furnace went out again in December. We paid $200 again for another service call, and this time the person who came out changed the filter, tightened a screw, and declared the issue resolved. He said no new motor was needed because supposedly a lose screw was the source of the problem. Funny enough, here it is a couple weeks later, temperatures have dropped into the single digits, and my furnace has gone out yet again. Whatsmore is that New Circle wants me to fork over even more money for them to come back out to fix the same problem that they should have repaired the previous 2x I had them come out. It is absurd that they would keep charging me when it has been less than a month since the last service call, and they clearly did not get the job done then. I feel like I have been ripped off, and I want to warn anyone who comes across this company to run far far away.

In response to the owner’s reply below, I did not have a “3rd party” at my house. The man your employee met with owns the home. What’s more is that we did contact you directly regarding the issue of being charged repeatedly for the same incomplete service. Not only did you not offer a refund of any sort, your employee flat out refused to come out to finish the job if we didn’t fork over another $200. We foolishly paid yet again, and you guys still did not get the job done. We had to hire a completely new company to finally fix the furnace, and thankfully, they got the job done in one visit. I’d also like to add that someone from your company actually threatened to sue me for leaving a negative review on Facebook. I’m not sure what has changed with New Circle over the past year or so, but you guys went from being really reliable with great customer service to mistreating long term customers and shamelessly ripping them off.

I have used New Circle for several years (since I purchased my current home in 2017). I really appreciate how professional they are - I can get an appointment scheduled in the next day or so (always a reasonable amount of time) and they are always good about calling when they are 20 minutes out and arriving in the scheduled time window.

They have also provided great service and resolved whatever problem I was having (from replacing a hot water heater to unclogging a kitchen drain). They are reliable and the prices are reasonable. I don't hesitate to contact them if I need something fixed or replaced!

Clearly doesn't need new business and the customer service was deplorable. They would not send a tech out to do an estimate but instead wanted to charge me to have a tech come do an inspection of the remaining wiring from the previous HVAC unit. Exact words from the jerk that answered the phone (when asked why they don't do estimates) Give your business to someone who needs it. Nice.
