One of the plumber's from Durbin came to my house as a contractor for my warranty company on 10/29/2018. They didn't leave a card or even a receipt from where I paid my 75 copay. Fast forward to today 11/2/18 and I called today to get an update. I was told by Tina that they had to find out who the plumber was and she would call back. Two hours later after I checked my online claim with the warranty company I called Tina back. I was told Mr Durbin would call me in 30 minutes with an update. I have never received one. I called my warranty company and after holding for 30 min while they called Durbin's they finally come back and say that Durbin's is claiming they cant get to my FLOODING BASEMENT for two more weeks. Why did I wait so long? Because on tuesday I also found out my child needed emergency testing on her kidney's so I thought well they will call and put it on the back burner. I now have a continuous leak into my basement and have to wait for another plumber to find a way to fit me in. That ladies and gentleman is crappy service. And even if they keep this from their website it will be on yelp and google. **Edited to add **Tina got my review and called and said that I couldn't be found by her because she had not heard from me in ten days and that I had been moved to the completed folder.. FUNNY. The CHECK was dated 10/30/18 so someone also needs some math classes. She also tried to put it off on the warranty company as well.. CLASSY. Yes I hung up on her. She also did not call from the office number. looks like a cell phone number **** edited to add a plumber was here yesterday and Durbin's plumber said that my whole plumbing from Wall to ceiling had to be replaced that it was because of tree roots.. shows how good a plumber he was.. it was a copper water line that had a HOLE in it.. it took him 40 min to fix it and that was it.. ***EDITED for third time*** today I received the copay for the warranty work back from Durbin's with a note hoping my child is ok. I try to be honest and upfront at all times so Tina from Durbin did try to make amends. Thank you Tina for the well wishes for my child. I appreciate the gesture and the sentiment with which it was sent.

Kinman plumbing did a fantastic job at my home. They replaced my kitchen faucet, repaired pipes that were corroded under the kitchen sink, and replaced my garbage disposal. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They were willing to meet my needs which meant three trips to my house. Thank you Kinman Plumbing. I would recommend you to any of my friends.

I had problems with them in that it was a simpler leak repair and they wanted to up sell me their current specials. I had a choice of A or B. The actual problem C was not addressed. (I ultimately repaired leak myself for under $25 due to no choice, realizing the amount of scam in the plumbing industry in this area.) I just wanted honest service and prompt knowledgeable repair. Typically basic items and replacement parts are on the truck. I did not get this. There was no assessment of the leak and there was no diagnosis of the parts or replacement/repair of the leaky faucet and handle which was hard to turn completely off. (I replaced parts on exterior of wall to fix) Mind you, I need water and bathroom to be usable and expect a plumber to know how to accomplish this in the best manner. ...The sales pitch was that my pipe was of a material that was not to code and should be replaced. My bathroom plumbing wall needed a rebuild. (It was stable and did not need replacement.) Do they want my old copper or what? It shouldn't cost 100 per ft to install plastic, especially if other items are extra and added during 'the work. Even if I had taken A or B, C would have been tacked on at the end because it wasn't resolved through A or B. While I have always experienced nice people here, just because someone cleans up and hauls off 'refuse,' does not mean they didn't scam you creating more work than was needed.I gave a 2 star (versus a 1) because last year they did not screw me over. However, once a phone call is made to get instruction, your price will go up. I would not use them again. I don't want to be forced to remodel to a different system - one that did not match my current system - and remodel EVERYTHING trying to repair a leak for an extra thousand plus. Now I am 'remodeling' myself due to not much choice, but isn't this something everyone wants to plan in advance specifically because you can't use your bathroom while it's being done??? (I was also told my toilet would likely break if I removed the top to repair the wall, hence automatic new fixtures lining up for future billings to get a working bathroom back.)I can say that they show up on time if not early, but that might not be the best reason to hire a plumber. I question business practices here.

Hot water heater went out and was shooting water everywhere. Called 5 or 6 other places and was told it would be 5-7 days before they could even come look at it. Called Berryman and he was there the next morning(Saturday)not only that but he charged me$200.00 less than everyone else said. He was quick to,it took@2hours for him to check out the old one,go pickup New one and install..Will not call anyone else for plumbing issues....

Just moved to Jeffersonville, called other places and couldn’t get anybody to come out. One place said they would call me back ASAP but never responded. Jay was a great guy to work with and was very welcoming to our Dog. He fixed my leak and even switch my water line. Definitely recommend this company.

My sump pump in the basement was giving off an awful smell, along with bath water draining out into my backyard instead of through the sewer line. I had three different plumbing companies out to try and figure out what the problem was, and what needed to be done to fix it. Each one told me what they thought it might be, but couldn't give me a definitive answer. My neighbor recommended I call Tom Sondergeld plumbing. Tom came out and was able to diagnose the problem, as well as give me a price for the job right then and there. Two weeks later, two of his employees came out to my house and were able to fix it. The issue was a cracked cast iron pipe below the basement floor. One plumbing company told me I'd have to have all the plumbing re-ran and would be somewhere in the range of $2-$3000. That wasn't even the issue, and after it was all said and done it cost me less than $900. I am very impressed with this company, and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Did a job in such a manor that I had to get the same job done a year later. Then charged me almost double the price the next year.
