I'm very satisfied with Stemler's work today. Last night we discovered that our water heater was leaking rusty water from the bottom of the tank.

I called at 8am. They had a new water heater installed and running by 1pm. It would have been done even more quickly had we not pushed them back 30 minutes so we could finish breakfast and showers. (We didn't think they would be that quick and they caught us off guard.q)

The first crew was here within 45 minutes and informed me that I would unfortunately have to have an in-wall cabinet removed to make space for the new water heater. Luckily after they left I realized I could quickly remove it myself without the help of a contractor.

The second crew was here by 10:30. They were finished by 1pm. 5 hours from business open to job completion with 2 separate visits from 2 separate crews - WOW!!

Very friendly professional service from Jacob & Ben(?). Very understanding and comfortable with our aggressive, barking dog (which we of course kept quarantined).

Very fair pricing. The water heater was cheaper than it was selling for online. Labor was well below average.

I'm going to recommend you guys to everybody. I'm blown away with the speed, quality, and cost of your services.

We don't have a lot of money and we had a really bad experience with our last plumber - so this actually means more to me than just the money. It means a big load of my shoulders, a lot less anxiety, and a restoration in my faith with local plumbers.

Water heater decided to die on Christmas day. Called around to a few different places the day after. Stemler got back to me very quickly. Said they could be out the very next day. Showed up way ahead of schedule and had everything installed and up to code within a few hours. Price was very fair and I'll be using them again for any future plumbing issues.

So thankful for Stemler Plumbing! We had wind damage that exposed our pipes to “flash freezing” due to the extreme weather conditions. We ended up having 3 breaks and they didn’t leave until they were all fixed and tested. Thanks to these great people, we were able to get working water again and Christmas was saved! We are forever grateful.

Professional service, prompt and courteous. Provided some tips so that the problem would not occur again. A bit pricy with additions of an equipment usage fee. But would use again

I had water heater that was on its last leg. I had heard good things about Stemlers and after speaking with them on the phone I could tell it was a wise decision to go with them. They came exactly when they said they would and had great quality product and service. I highly recommend them and when I ever need a plumber again I will be calling them.

Scheduled appointment for estimate to install new tub and bathroom sink. Arrived early but didn't seem like interested in doing job was there less than 5 minutes and have never received the estimate for the work.

I was dreading looking for a plumber when my pipes started leaking because of the bad experiences I had in the area previously. A friend recommended stemler and they came out next day, fixed the issue on the spot, and charged a great rate. So thankful for them!!!

We have used them three times since purchasing our home. The most recent time to replace a busted water heater, which they made time on a Friday of a holiday weekend to fix. They are always polite, amiable and very fair with their prices. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would’ve given them 5 stars but......
On 4th of July my gas control valve failed and needed to be replaced. After calling 8 different plumbing companies and no luck or too expensive. Stemler had the better pricing and even offered to sell me the part and give me the option to do it myself. After failing to remove the gas control valve, we just decided to just replace the whole water heater. Made an appt and they came and did a great job replacing the water heater in a timely fashion. The plumber was very specific on what he needed to do and communicated with my wife before doing any work. That specific job itself gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is where and why I decided to give them 3 stars. After the job was complete and the water was turned back on, one of my outside spigots blew a seal and wouldn’t stop leaking. Indeed this is normal and tends to happen because seals and o-rings get old and the pressure of turning on the main water valve again will make them leak. Ok, great. So the plumber says all this to me and then tells me that there is ONLY one way to fix it. Because it’s an old mansfield water spigot and those are so old that they don’t even make parts for it. Goes on by saying they need to cut a hole in my master bedroom behind the valve, cut it, pull it out and install a new valve and spigot and then install an access panel just in case it happens again there would be a way to fix it.

I made the appt to get it fixed with Stemler, but was very doubtful about the work that needed to be done. (C’mon, it’s just a leaky faucet) I started calling around and talked to a plumber from another company to get a second opinion about it. Instead of charging me to come out and fix it, the plumber from another company told me an easy DIY way to fix it and save money. I went and picked up a wall hydrant valve repair kit made by Prier. These parts are made for Mansfield style parts. Took me 10 minutes and the cost was under $20. Didn’t have to spend $250 to have Stemler fix it.

I’m upset that a local company who is highly recommended by reviews and by my father in-law, would do such a thing. Instead of trying to help a customer out to try and keep my business, your plumber decided to try and outright make an unnecessary costly repairs. These guys are suppose to be professionals. With probably 10+ yeas of experience. I understand houses get old and maybe require an upgrade. But that’s a decision that should be left up to the customer and not the plumber/company who states that there was ONLY one way to fix the issue to make a quick buck.

I needed a company to replace my washing machine cold water valve. Most companies quoted me WAY to high. Stemler gave me a good quote. Was supposed to come between 1-3 and got a call at 10 am that they were ahead of schedule and asked if I wanted an earlier time, I said yes. Plumber got here about 20 minutes later. He was nice and professional, he was respectful and even cleaned up after himself and put my washer and dryer back to where they were. Best plumber I have ever dealt with. Also final amount was a little under what I was quoted (by 5 dollars), which I appreciated. If you need a plumber call this company.

Jacob Beeler came to my moms house on a Sunday. Very kind and professional.
He fixed everything all up and I learned a lot about things that run on gas. Exceptional Employee.

I had them order a Zoeller pedestal sump pump. Very helpful, researched for me, and ordered it last Friday. I picked it up this Monday morning. Great company. This is the 2nd one they've gotten for us.

I have used them several different times now. The plumbers are always very friendly, clean, and efficient. They quoted me on a price to install a hot water heater,and I ended up paying less than the quote. I will continue to use them for all of my plumbing needs.

I would have left 4 stars if the plumbers solution had lasted more than a couple months. Had them out to inspect my drain for clogs then replace a very aged slow flushing toilet. However he used acid to clean my old toilet instead of installing the new one I bought and had asked him to. Told me it was the wrong size rough in even though I had already measured. He did not measure, but told me he could tell just by looking. Anyway, 2 months later same slow flush and so I went ahead and re-bought the exact same toilet as before and installed myself, which did fit perfectly. (Older home with a 10 inch rough in.) Everything works great since I replaced and the very old wax ring was starting to leak too so real glad that's fixed now. Didn't really want to have to mess with it, but wasn't going to lose more money on a simple job. I am sure they are an over all reputable business, just in this case I lost money on a patch job that should have been thorough.

Brought in an old plumbing part that I was stumped on how to get replacement parts for.They showed me how to replace the parts sold me the replacement parts and showed me how to put it all back together right in the store and in just a few minutes. only charged me $10! They were great!

Incredibly helpful. They helped solve plumbing issues with a 55 year old house and provided quality parts. You will not get that kind of service at the big box stores. Our go to plumbing store in Jeffersonville.

My experience was exceptional!

I've been chasing leaks in an old shower for about a year. I'm an avid DIYer, so I carried each valve into Stemler's. They taught me how to repair each one, and had all the parts i needed. They always went the extra step of cleaning up the part, and sometimes switched out the washers for me. I finally uncovered the final leak and, as usual, they cleaned it up, replaced the washers, and sent me home with all the parts i needed to put it all back together PLUS parts to complete another project.

They seem to have parts for EVERYTHING! If you have a plumbing problem, you need to contact Stemler's.

Just moved to Jeffersonville, called other places and couldn’t get anybody to come out. One place said they would call me back ASAP but never responded. Jay was a great guy to work with and was very welcoming to our Dog. He fixed my leak and even switch my water line. Definitely recommend this company.

Stemler Plumbing is amazing! They are the only plumbing company I ever call. Just had a huge problem with my sewer pipes, and I was so worried, but they came and fixed the problem and it wound up being less than $600! I had visions of thousands of dollars, but Stemler Plumbing's honesty, integrity and kindness made this whole experience wonderful! Don't call anyone else but Stemler Plumbing!

Did an amazing job, quickly and not to expensive

Zach and Ben were very professional and after my pipe busted on Sunday I got my appt Monday.

I initially called Stemler’s Plumbing and scheduled an appointment regarding a leak. They stated they would call prior to arriving. Working nights I sleep during the day. I went to sleep awaiting their call, instead I received a knock on the door. The gentleman stated he called my neighbor. I was not even aware my neighbors set an appointment with them. I let them know I would like for them not to relay information to my neighbors regarding my property. They did anyway repeatedly. I ended up working 2- 80 hour weeks and when my neighbors asked I stated I found someone. Planning on still utilizing Stemler’s plumbing. My neighbor scheduled service prior to me getting an estimate with another company which stated he would be contracting out the work. He gave a very low number but knew it wasn’t an accurate quote. When I called them back to find out about what the cost of a total line repair would be as my family member suggested they stated that they would be declining to do the service since my neighbors scheduled and canceled. My reason for wanting things kept separate from her in the first place. Apparently my neighbor affected their decisions on providing my service.

I always call Stemlers! Reasonably priced but the fix what needs to be fixed quickly and professionally!
