I heard about this company through a friend. I was pleased when I received an immediate response along with a next day appointment for my gas test. I was unfamiliar with what a gas test was as this is something that should have been performed on my home prior to purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and professional and wanted to make me aware of the process. He scheduled all of my inspections and pulled the necessary permits in a timely fashion. He also coordinated the inspection times with my schedule and tried to limit the amount of days I would need to take off from work. This was very important to me! My boiler died and although it's a busy season for this work A.J. Michaels was prompt about the repair, showed up on time, and the technician even made extra trips to help me decipher a new thermostat and resolve a problem with the on-loan space heaters. The company also did my central air system (in a 100 year old house) over a decade ago and I've yet to have a problem with it. The office support staff is sympathetic and answers calls promptly and with meaningful information and updates.

George is attentive, honest, and competent. What more could you ask for? And yet, it feels like George goes above and beyond. When I reached George, he was on vacation but insisted on listening to my problem so that he could offer an initial guesstimate of the issue and of the cost to repair. On the day of service, he was thorough to confirm his diagnosis and generous in explaining what was going on, why it was problematic, and what steps I could take preventatively once he implemented the fix. When a part arrived late, he communicated pro-actively and rescheduled for the next day (on the weekend no less, even though it was not an emergency circumstance). I could not be happier with my experience.

We were referred to American Leak Detection to find the source of a suspected leak in the water line to the well. Brian K was able to arrive early for our appointment since his prior appointment time had changed. He was very professional and efficient and found the leak which turned out to be in our goat pen. He had no hesitation whatsoever about going in with the goats. He mentioned that it may be a bad coupling based on the spot of the leak and the length of pipe running from the house. When we contacted the the company that serviced the water line they were so pleased to find that the leak was exactly where Brian had marked the spot. Turns out, it was a coupling that had rusted over the years. The company that serviced the well line recently reached out to me to ask who we used for the leak detection and I was happy to make the referral. Definitely would recommend this company and would use them for any future needs.
