Sunday morning and no hot water for a shower. Why do plumbing issues always happen on the weekend? Luckily, I called Nevada Plumbing Authority because I had to call them on a weekend prior for a water heater leak and they responded quickly. Once again...Jason answered my call and was out in a couple of hours to handle the repair. Courteous as can be...found the most cost efficient way to handle the repair...and I was showering before mid-afternoon. I cannot express my gratitude enough for how fast they responded and genuinely understood my issue and handled it with a sense of urgency rarely seen from businesses now days.

After coming home to water leaking out of my garage, I realized my water heater was leaking. After calling three of the “top rated” plumbing companies I saw on Yelp I was frustrated because no one even answered the phone or called me back. I called Plumbing Repair Now because they offered same day service. Not only did they come out on the same day but within two hours of calling. The plumber, I believe Steve was his name, was very professional and friendly. I had called this company because my water heater leaked and flooded my garage floor. Steve removed the old one and replaced it with a brand new water heater with a ten year warranty. He even helped with removing the water from my garage floor. Excellent service. After trying other plumbing services in Las Vegas I couldn't be more happy.

Garry from 5 Star Home services was sent out to give us a second opinion on some work after a quote from another company the previous day. Not only was his quote on par to what i was expecting, his information and knowledge put him over the top. In the end his final price actually dropped below his quote. If you are looking for a plumber or you are utilizing this company, I recommend you request Garry.

Somehow, in a town full of pools, finding a reputable leak detection company is difficult. I went through one company that was really good at taking my $400, but really awful at accurately finding leaks in a pool.

Finally, I was recommended Valleywide Leak Detection. This company is a keeper. On their first visit, they arrived on time and went about systematically locating the area of the leak. Then, both guys on site ran their own inspection to make sure they both came to the same conclusion of the exact location of the leak. Half the battle won already.

I hired the same guys to come back and make the repair. Again, they arrived on time and methodically and carefully removed the patio pavers next to the spa that were over the leak and laid them out in order for exact replacement. And, of course, right under the hole was the spa drain with a big cut in it. Perfect find.

They cut out and replaced the offending pipe and then perfectly relaid the pavers on top. Other than our pool maintaining its water level, one could never tell we had work done.

I give them an A+. I have already recommended them to others and will continue to. They aren’t a big name with fancy logos and billboards and 800 numbers — but their work and skills are impeccable. A local gem.

As a first time homeowner to an older home, I found my self panicked when I had piping issues right off the bat. What bad luck. After talking to a few companies, I came across TDS. He had a reasonable quote to us and someone from his team out within an hour to replace our tank. They even checked our softener to make sure it was working properly. Appreciated the same day service!
