I contacted Las Vegas Plumber & Drain Cleaning Services to unclog a toilet because I felt it was time for a change. After I called, Jeff showed there to help in less than 30 minutes. Called because two cold faucets upstairs had rotten egg smelling water. Out of all the faucets in the house, only two had the odor, but the tech tried to tell me that the main water line to the entire house was supplying the smelly water, and said I needed a new water softener/conditioner, even though mine was practically brand new. I'm no expert, but if the water from the main out in the sidewalk was the issue, every drop of water in the house would smell like that. I asked him why that wouldn't be the case, he had no answer and just shrugged. Ultimately he seemed uninterested in investigating the issue.Look, if you don't know what the issue is, don't make up an obviously nonsense answer and try to make me buy a $1200 softener. Just say you don't know. Avoid these guys.

We noticed a leak in our front yard on Tuesday morning 1-8-19 and called LV Restoration. They showed up within an hour. Brian quickly located the problem. It was our water main into our house. It was repaired and everything returned to normal. Their professionalism and quick resolution is commendable.

These guys came to repair or replace my hot water heater. They were called on Saturday by my home warranty company and couldn't show up till Tuesday afternoon . When the technician arrived, he arrempted to drain. It. He shut it off, called mush and told he could not do the job because the stand wasn't fastened to the wall and the water heater was not under warranty from the manufacturer. He also told me the tank wouldn't drain because it was full of sediment. The date on the tank was decent 2017. My home warranty company called me and disallowed my claim because of the technician report. He said it was a manufacturer defect. The next day I called the manufacturer and they said it is under warranty. Howevvt, they require a plumbing contractor. They refused to sell to the homeowner. Five star wanted $1100.00 to replace my tank. So I drained the tank myself, bought a new tank from Lowe's and installed it myself. Five star will never work on my house again. The technician flat lied to me and the warranty ct. Screw you!!!

So relieved we found Valleywide to detect and fix our pool leak! We knew we had leak for a few months now but had a hard time determining where it was coming from - it progressively got worse the last couple weeks- losing about an inch of water a day. Plaster and equipment is all fairly new - about a year old but the pool itself is about 30 years old. Our pool guy wasn't able to determine where the leak was coming from so I contacted another pool leak detection I found on google with a lot more reviews.. he came out and spent about 30 minutes fiddling around before telling me he had to leave and gave no indication where leak might be. So I gave Valleywide a call - they set up a time to come find the leak. Super professional, efficient and reasonably priced. They found the leak in about 30-40 min. They were able to schedule a time to fix the leak as well later in the week but did not pressure me at all to schedule it with them. A pipe had cracked right where they detected. The job took a few hours and we are not losing any water now. With all the flaky people out there don't waste your time - use Valleywide for your pool leak detection!
