Water heater was installed with hot galvanized vent pipe touching my cold copper water line. Damper was not screwed in all the way either. I called and a gentleman came back and corrected the issues that the other plumber didn't do correctly, which I am happy about. What I did not appreciate was how the second plumber appeared to be annoyed with this request, to which he said that it would take 30 years for any corrosion to form. 1) I disagree as the humidity can be high in our basement, 2) I plan on being alive in 30 years and don't plan on replacing my water line or dealing with a CO leak, and 3) all the more reason to do it right the first time. Everyone makes mistakes, and I applaud them for making it right; however, when a lack of quality is defended it reveals a bigger problem.

We needed a new air conditioning unit and furnace to replace our 23 year old existing units. Chad and Steven were scheduled to come out in the morning to do the work. They were on time -- actually a little early! They did a fantastic job installing our new units. The units looked and great and worked even better! We had a copper pipe burst in our basement on a Saturday afternoon (pipe freeze). Pierpoint Plumbing in Kansas City, MO promptly returned our call the same day and offered to repair it early Sunday morning. Plumber was very personable, did a great job and also provided valuable advice to improve our installation in the future. Work done included burst copper pipe replacement, replacement of outside faucets with new freeze-less anti-siphon faucets, installation of ball valve, and easy drain valve indoors in the basement. Charged a competitive amount . We warmly recommend Pierpoint Plumbing Company and will gladly hire them again in the future.

I called Jerry last week for the first time for a sump pump repair/replacement. He was out quickly, answered my questions and installed a new one, fixing an issue with last installation. I was very pleased and knew if I had a plumbing issue again he would be my first call. Didn’t expect to have a pipe burst a few days later on Christmas night! We caught it quickly so just turned off water and texted Jerry. He came out first thing the next day and fixed it. Both times I was very pleased with his knowledge, professionalism and price.
