Toilet flooded my living room on the saturday after Thanksgiving. Home warranty people were not available but Rooter-Man came to the rescue. The dispatch was friedlyf and helpful and acheduled a technician to come out within the hour. Curtis showed up, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He was professional and explained what caused the problem as he unclogged line. Excellent responsiveness, would definitely use again without hesitation.

I received an estimate of $232.83 to unclog the kitchen sink line on a rental property. Even though the quote was higher than the average price for this service, I accepted it based on good reviews on the web. A few minutes later, I received a call saying that the pipes are full of “grease” and it would cost an additional fee of $432 (total $664.83!!!) to remove it – otherwise, they could not provide ANY guarantee for the service that had already been executed (i.e.: if it clogs again tomorrow, I am on my own). I felt mislead on the original commitment to unclog the kitchen sink line and provide warranty for a reasonable period. Therefore, I just cut my loses, paid the $232.83, and described my experience here.

I’ve been a customer for about ten years. Ted always does what he says he will do and is reasonably priced. What he fixes stays fixed. Trust is important and I trust him completely.

In the midst of the aftermath of the worst snowstorm and record cold temperatures in Austin and no electricity, I had two toilets back up and needed a plumber fast!I found Johnny Rooter on a Google search and I was amazed when a real person answered!Thousands of people had broken pipes, so I expected a long wait, but was pleasantly surprised at how responsive they were to my needs. They answered my phone calls, they arrived on time, cleared my backups with the efficiency of a surgeon, and triaged another issue - a broken hot water pipe under the slab.Since it was not as critical to get that repaired immediately, and I knew there were other people with far worse pipe situations, we discussed and agreed they would return mid-March to make those repairs.I was also pleasantly surprised that their rate was so affordable, especially when plumbers were in high demand.I highly recommend Johnny Rooter for so many reasons! You'll be impressed, too!

Great service! I’ve known them for years, local and family owned years. The last time that I used them it was because my kitchen sink had a weird smell and like I enrolled in the maintenance plan they gave me priority. I was scheduled for the next available slot and they got to my house with a truck full of parts and equipment just to make sure that they finished the job the same day

Had my gas hot water heater swapped out from a second floor attic, done very fast and they were very responsive and took care to not dirty my carpets. You really don't want to be out of hot water for long. Labor was ~$1200 for the job. Its been several months and no issues so far.Only thing that might surprise folks is there is an initial service charge to get the job quote, but that's refunded in the job price so you don't lose anything.

Called about a water leak on Thursday and explained that we were taking Friday off from work to fix the issue. We were told that they were definitely coming Friday. We specially asked them to call if that changed in any way. After we didn't hear from them by noontime on Friday, we called again. We were told that they were busy but would definitely come to fix the leak. They encouraged my 70-year-Old mother who was waiting for them to start digging for the water line to speed up the process. Long story short, they never came, never called, and will never be getting our business.
