We used Proficient Plumbing for a main line gas leak and they were the best offer out of four quotes and the most professional too. They did the job in a timely manner and even helped us get a faster appointment with Atmos to get a technician out sooner to turn the gas back on after they had finished (which they definitely didn't have to do). We will certainly use them again in the future!

My wife and I had been having issues with our shower getting hot enough for the last 8 months after having a new hot water heater put in. We had the plumber who put in the hot water heater and one from a different company come out and work on our shower and look at our new hot water heater. Both came to the same conclusion that we needed a new shower body component. This piece would have to be custom and would include ripping out dry wall behind our wall with estimates in the $3500 range. After a winter of warmish showers that wouldn't stay warm but for10minutes or so I finally asked for recommendations from a few friends for a plumber they trusted for the big project. Eugene Williams with AAA Auger was recommended highly by a family friend and so we set up an appointment with him. On Thursday, 1/22 Mr. Williams came out and spent 15 minutes going over my problems with me and looking at our water in our bathroom. At that point he said I don't think it is your shower but rather an issue with your water heater. He then checked our water heater and found something that both of the other companies had missed. In the long run he was able to fix our issue for less than $200 and one that should have been caught by both of the others. We were ready to spend $3500 for the fix and that would have been a complete waste of money. We could not be happier and recommend Eugene and his services highly!

Do NOT use this plumbing company; they are rude and WILL let you down! Our kitchen sink was backed up the night before a huge birthday party at our home and I contacted GFB for a Sat am appt the night before. I was told 10am. The plumber didn't show up until 1pm after 2 phone calls to the dispatcher. He wanted to back up into the driveway and I was getting ready to run party errands. The plumber literally waited 5 mins after being told the situation and yelled out his window while driving off to Get yourself another damn plumber. Did I mention he was blaring his horn while my mother and I were coming down the driveway; I was shocked at his aggression. SO DISRESPECTFUL after we waited 3 hours after our appt time. Use another plumber there are SEVERAL out there. This guy doesn't value the customer so what kind of work can you really expect from a person with that type of integrity?!!
Update 3/21: I find it interesting that the wife of the plumber responded to this online review weeks later but never called to apologize, reschedule and straight up did not answer her phone when her husband took off leaving us in a serious bind. She was not present when this incident occurred so i will clarify as I was there, he waited literally 5-7 min for me to pull out the driveway. I find her negative embellishments about me entertaining and another indicator of this company’s poor customer service. I’m done responding I just really don’t like when people lie.

It was detected that we had a sewer leak, after foundation was completed. Did my due diligence and got three quotes, while also looking each company on the better business bureau. Black Tie was rated A+, therefore we choose to sign a contract with them.

What a fantastic experience! We needed a hot water replaced quickly, and not only did they get on it within 24 hours, they even helped me find a very skinny water heater to fit in the small closet in hour older home. Both ladies I spoke with in the office were super polite and very professional.
