Best Fix Toilet in Irving TX

TL;DR Joe kept 3400 dollars for a job he never did. Said he'd pay me back, sans the hours he put in trying to diagnose my problem/messing with my pipes, and now seems to be ghosting me.

Had a flood in a bathroom from the base of the toilet. Joe looked at it, figured we had a slab leak. Asked for a 3400 dollar down payment to deal with it by tunneling under the house. We saw his reviews and trusted him, and paid him.

He kept showing up hours later than he said he'd be, and a flushed toilet caused another flood, leading us to doubt his diagnosis. He was gonna deal with the clog, but he still believed their was a slab leak.

He said he'd come deal with it at 7. My girlfriend got up early to let him in; he showed up at 9 but had to leave almost right away because he didn't have the right equipment or he needed to drive his girlfriend to work.

Last straw for us. We told him we were just gonna hire a big corporate plumber to get it over with fast. He was polite, said he'd pay us back the down payment.

We called in another plumber, they showed up, used a camera snake to find the clog, demolished it, and were gone within one hour. 600 bucks. They said they found no sign of a slab leak.

Joe suddenly got real hard to get ahold of. He hasn't replied to a text or call in... 4 or 5 days now? Been over a week since we let him go.

Last time we talked, and I told him I was freaked about the chance of him walking with my money, he said I'm not that guy.

I honestly don't get it. I'm starting to wonder if he ever honestly believed there was a slab leak, or if he just thought we looked like a couple gullible idiots. I guess he was right, if so.

They repaired my water leak and found that my house’s plumbing was not up to par and not insulated. They recommended a repair plan and gave me different options.

Lane was the absolute most nicest and honest guy. You hear horror stories about home warranty companies out there. Not with this guy. He communicated when there were issues and just did an all around amazing job. Thank you Lane!!

Great Company, always on time and professional.

I'm am not a fake I called and asked for a appt he was very rude! Told me it would be a minimum of 180.00 and he would text me for my address and details! Unprofessional to handle business with a text a phone call would have been better IMO! I found another company who could come immediately and for a better price. I called Chris and nobody answered so I left a message because the recording said leave a message that I was canceling. He then called and told me I should have kept calling til someone answered that it would have the right thing to do I let him know as thought he was rude the first time we spoke.

In the past we had bad luck with other plumbing companies. We have used DFW Pipe & Plumbing numerous times and always had great experiences. We were able to schedule our service quickly, the plumbers showed up on time, and they did great work for a fair price. I won't use any other plumbing company.

Very friendly knowledgeable

This company will be my 'go to' plumbing company from now on! I had a problem with my hot water heater and called my home warranty company who allocated another plumbing firm. Their technician failed to even open up the unit before coming to the wrong conclusion about what was wrong with it. Having been without hot water for 2 days I called S+T Plumbing as a local company for advice. Even though they were not able to come out the same day, they went above and beyond anything I have experienced before to help me sort the problem out. I now have hot water, and a very happy family! This is no longer the Atlas we have known and trusted for years. Under new management they no longer honor long standing customer relationships. They surprised us with a new policy of charging for estimates (never provided)even after they failed to resolve the original problem they were called for. Great, honorable, ethical company for years, sorry to lose them as a vendor

We had 2 separate service visits, our technicians were Perry Hicks and Caleb Mayes. Both gentlemen were very friendly, professional and knowledgable. Would definitely reccomend either one - and Milestone. We switched service agreements from our previous company to Milestone earlier this year and we've been much happier.

We needed to add an additional solar vent to our attic. Tino the representative for this was informative of our concerns. It was the next day that our vent was placed. We also needed for a technician to check our air conditioning unit. We were happy to see Paul who is usually our maintenance technician. Tino and Paul very professional plus when calling ARS, the representatives on the phone are kind and helpful. Thank You ARS.

We have used Nikki’s Plumbing for years. They are always responsive and honest! They never try to upsell you for things you don’t need. They come in and do the job well at a reasonable price. I cannot recommend them any more highly. They are awesome!
