Wesley came in on his off time to address my problem with the tankless water heater. After quickly figuring out the issue, he ordered parts and fixed the problem. He explained each step what was being done. I highly recommend DFW and Wesley. He will be my go to person.

They didn't follow instructions for flushing and debris ruined the new cartridge in a day (I took it out and found copper bits, Teflon tape, and solder in the valve but cleaning it up didn't fix the damage).

Now for hours they won't pick up the phone (during their business hours) and when I got hold of the tech he takes zero responsibility and gives me no guarantee about when I can talk to someone who will.

Meanwhile I have to turn water off to the whole house so the shower doesn't run constantly while I wait or pay an arm and a leg for another plumber to fix what they broke.

EDIT: Talked to them on Monday and the woman I talked to very flippantly says oh we're not open on Saturday, when I mention that their Google listing shows hours Saturday, she (again totally flippantly) says oh, well Google is wrong (I submitted an edit here since they apparently can't be bothered to). During further conversation, her attitude when I described the impact of their failures was unapologetic and unconcerned.

So expect that these guys probably won't, but certainly might make the kinds of mistakes a DIYer would make and if they do, will not have much concern at all about the impact those mistakes have on your life.

EDIT2: Raising to 2 stars because they did get back to me and at refunded the cartridge I had to buy, so I'm giving them some credit. Obviously it was not nearly enough to make up for the hassle they caused me by failing to do a careful job in the first place, but it's at least some representation of willingness to take responsibility.

Excellent service provided well beyond expectation. They were very professional from the moment I contacted Patrick about our water pipe leak to the moment Jon resolved our issue. I felt assured that he and his team were very trustworthy, and were giving me honest and reliable information for the best available options to fix our slab leak. On the day of the project, Jon and his team found some hidden piping route irregularities that were caused by the previous homeowner. Instead of just casting those aside and proceeding with the simpler job we originally agreed to, Jon went ahead and fixed the new issues that were found as well. The added work was very labor intensive and they surely did not have to do so. The fact they did without any hesitation, or added charge, and provided us with a much more modern cold water pipe line, as well as completely fixing our original leak issue was incredible. I highly encourage you to contact DFW Pipe and Plumbing with any issues you may have.

We've used this company for almost 10 years now and they've done a number of rehab & improvement jobs over this time (pipe lining, fixed leak in yard from meter to the house, new fixtures, etc). Recently, we had a plumbing problem that popped up with a job from 9 years ago and they stepped and fixed the problem quickly. Couldn't imagine how they could've done a better job! We called other companies who gave us very high quotes and DFW P+P gave us a fair and accurate quote and fixed the problem (toilet and master shower cartridge) quickly and efficiently! We are having them quote us for a new water heater because of the amazing job they have done. Would definitely recommend and use again!

We enlisted them to do a complete restoration of our plumbing in a one story office building.
$30K later, Installed wrong pipes. We have had sinks draining slowly, came in very reluctantly after stern e-mail saying we will report them to the plumbing examiner. Found out we have a broken pipe under the slab. Verbally agreed it was their responsibility and now refusing to fix it.

In the past we had bad luck with other plumbing companies. We have used DFW Pipe & Plumbing numerous times and always had great experiences. We were able to schedule our service quickly, the plumbers showed up on time, and they did great work for a fair price. I won't use any other plumbing company.

Requested they install an RUR199iN to replace my 50 gallon tank water heater. They were delayed a few days due to bad weather, but as soon as the weather cleared up, they did exactly what they promised as well as repaired a gas leak in my kitchen. What they quoted is exactly what I paid. Also, they worked with Atmos Energy to make sure my gas gauge was appropriately updated and tested with more pressure than we'll ever need. Would highly recommend Patrick, Jason, Sam, and their team.

Lacked professionalism and was not upfront with costs. Charged me $80 to confirm a kitchen faucet leak (for insurance purposes) that I had already identified and charged another $140 to cut into the dry wall to determine shower leak was not due to plumbing (which I’m ok with this part, but person was not upfront with the cost). Plumber also argued with someone on the phone and with his partner in front of me. Also would glare at me when I asked questions.

Replaced 2 50 gallon water tanks with much smaller and efficient tankless recirculating Rinnai system. VERY RESPONSIVE, smartest team ever seen and great service by Wesley and Cory, and the owner Patrick who personally stopped by to check in on us. The crew was on time, thorough, explained what we needed to know, and cleaned up afterwards. Now our ‘go to’ company for ALL things Water and Plumbing!

Con men, under the guise of professionals. My poor old, grandmother needed a new water heater, and these guys wanted to charge her upwards of $5,000. After searching around, we found quotes all over the $3,000 range and ended up settling on $2200.

Jason and Scott were very professional and flexible. They explained how their investigation works and found the source of the problem and fixed it quickly.

These guys have been really great to work with! We have had SERIOUS underground drainage issues in our house and have had to systematically replace ALL of our underground plumbing drains. Patrick and his team have been cost effective, pleasant, responsive, and dedicated to working with us and the insurance company to get it all done. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know for plumbing issues in the future.

absolutely terrible company, and even worse customer service. the owner patrick is unwilling to take ownership of his company's errors that cost my family thousands of dollars in floor repairs and repeat trip visit fees. after a 30 min discussion about what middle group could be met, and what concession he would offer to keep us as patrons, patrick proved unwavering and unwilling to provide any decent customer retention tactics. as a small-med business that relies primarily on word of mouth and online reviews, im surprised he decided that at least paying our additional trip fees (about $300) wasnt worth not tarnishing his brand. let alone the $600 floor repair bill we ended up with due to his employees' ineptitude. as a result, we're making it our personal mission to ensure anyone we know does NOT patronize this business. we had great success hiring escobars and sons here in dfw! much more bang for your buck and the gentlemen who did my work and cleaned up after this company made great conversation and was very transparent about their work before doing anything to my home. we are in the process of filing a BBB complaint about this company as well.

DFW Pipe & Plumbing really came through. I contacted their competition but they told me 2 weeks to get on the schedule. Not DFW Pipe. They came and gave me an estimate the same day and fixed my slab leak the next. Better yet, they did not nickle and dime me. I paid what was quoted, even though the job was not as anticipated. Call and have Wendy take care of you. She is the best :)

We used DFW Pipe Restoration at our school and they were there within the hour. They were quick, friendly and explained everything to us. We will DEFINITELY use them in the future as well as recommend them.

2 other plumbers performed hasty inspections and jumped to the conclusion that all of the under-slab pipes needed replacing. DFW Pipe sent me two professional, knowledgeable, better equipped plumbers that did a meticulous diagnosis at a cheaper hourly rate. After pressure-jetting debris and gunk out of the drain lines, their test bulbs could get a good seal and performed an accurate static leak test. In the end, there was no drain leak at all. Service could not have been better.

Overpriced and untrustworthy ...!!! Charged for diagnostics when none was done. Telling us can’t perform diagnostics because we didn’t have enough gas but multiple other opinions say our gas supply is fine. Do not use...

I woke up in the middle of the night w/water running in my bedroom walls. The water heater that is located in the attic over our Master bedroom was failing causing water to leak into the water heater pan and out through the emergency overflow drain pipes. The DFW Pipe team came out and replaced the tank w/a tankless water heater. No more worries about tanks rupturing in my attic. The plumbers are great!
