Best Repairs in Irving TX

In the desperate of need my main water line busted. I looked on Craigslist this is the 1st one and I looked around the gave me the same quote . Long story short the gentleman came in and nailed it awesome clean cut job my wife an I ty so much

Con men, under the guise of professionals. My poor old, grandmother needed a new water heater, and these guys wanted to charge her upwards of $5,000. After searching around, we found quotes all over the $3,000 range and ended up settling on $2200.

$5000? What a joke.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend S&T plumbing. I used them because my business had used them for many years. I called them to fix a toilet at my house that had a sewage smell. The plumber replaced the wax ring. A couple days after the wax ring was installed, the toilet quit flushing. My husband and I decided to replace the toilet instead of having them back out to look at it. We've been wanting a new toilet anyways, so it was a good excuse to bite the bullet and buy a new one. The people we had install the new toilet found a ball of wax and paper left behind in the toilet. When I called S&T to tell them what had been found in the toilet, so they were aware of what their plumber had left behind, I asked if they would be willing to refund me any money for the poor service. (Since paper was also left with the wax, it was apparent that it was not by mistake. The paper and wax was a result of carelessness and a shot-y job). They said no. There is even more to the story, however, it's not worth me typing a novel. Needless to say, my business as well as my family will be finding a new plumber. S&T was unwilling to remedy the situation to save 2 customers, one customer being a business. I would not recommend them.

After having foundation work done on our house we were told there was a leak under one of the bathtubs so after 2 estimates we decided to go with Links. I'm glad we did. It was a pleasure meeting and working with Derrick. He is kind, respectful and very informative. The work was completed in the time frame he told us and was overall a smoothe stress free process. We have one more leak and plan on calling them out for this one as well.

Problem not resolved. Tried to charge more than quoted. Rude and argumentative. Reached out to owner. Same results. Per owner in business 45 years and word of mouth doesn't affect them????

The laziest, most unprofessional ecounter with a professional company I've ever experienced . Someone by the name Crystal was rude and indignant immediately upon answering and I could hear her personal conversation in the background using foul language. No repeat business from our family. Harry and his crew were a life saver. We had an emergency water leak in the main water line leading to our home that needed to be taken care of on short notice. I called towards the end of the work day and he came after hours that same day (less than an hour later) to take a look. Not only did he correctly diagnose the problem and quote me a WAY more responsable price than another plumber that quoted it, but he was able to temporarily fix it then and there so my family could keep our water on until it was permanently fixed. In fact, he never even asked if he had my business before he temporarily fixed the leak. He simply said, Oh, you don't want to be without water and got to work. I would highly recommend Harry and his crew!

This is what it looks like after they've finished their work. I didn't expect them to repair the drywall, but they didn't bother vacuuming up the dust they made. Serval spots in the house where they cut through the drywall and left dust. They also sprayed blue liquid to find leaks and didn't wipe the excess off the walls. There are black scuff marks on the walls too. It's annoying that I need to clean up after them. I was originally told $625 to find the gas leak and repair it and was reassured that it would likely not go over $1000. My house had several leaks so it's understandable that I paid more, but after the first day they told me it was going to be $3500, almost 6 times the original price. Had they told me from the get go their hourly rate was $245/hr I could have easily done the math that one day for labor would be $2000 and would have had proper expectations of cost.
They did come out promptly and fixed the leak and got us running with gas again in 4 days despite the issues my house had. They seemed knowledgeable and experienced. I just wish there was more transparency in their rates and had cleaned up after themselves.

Edit: I found out they didn't file a permit with the city, which was required and expected. They also left all the old plumbing in the attic, which I have to clean up.

Nikki has been great and patient with on going plumbing issues we have had with our newly purchased home. She fixed several things that were repaired incorrectly and has been very diligent in trying to solve our mystery blockage on one side of the house. She has always been very communicative and been here when she said she would. One of the hardest workers I have seen.
