This company is absolute criminal through the core. They damaged my house when they attempt to clear an HVAC drain. They refused to fix the damage.They also faked that a blower motor was not working. They wanted to charge me $1600 for a new motor. I had another HVAC company come out and they showed me how they faked it to make it look like it was not working. There was nothing wrong with it.Usually technicians gets a percentage of everything he sells once they shows up. That’s how these companies work.Everybody in the call-center supervisors everyone is argumentative and refuses to stand by their work. Do not use this company they are rip off artist.

Nothing better than having a less than 2 year old home and the A/C quits working. Unfortunately since the unit is under the builder warranty I have no choice but to call Tempo Air. Their service has been subpar at best. Told I’m put on a list and should be getting a call. No calls what so ever. Canceled all the weekend plans to make sure that if they called I would be available. Yet, it appears that since the unit is under warranty that there is no rush to service the unit. I’m glad I can go onto day 3 with no A/C. This company expects you to be at their call when they call. I was told that right now I might be lucky if they come Monday. So to the owners of the company… who wants to write the check for my missed hours at work because I have to stay home to accommodate them. Run away from this company, don’t use them in any way shape or form if you don’t have too.

Scheduling our appointment was easy and quick. We received a reminder call and a call 30 minutes in advance so we could be ready for Mike's arrival. Our customer service rep was friendly and efficient.Mike arrived on time and took the time to explain the procedure. Upon completion of our service, he took the time to explain his findings and recommend actions that will assist us in keeping our AC system in the best possible condition. Mike was very knowledgeable and skilled. He took his time and made sure all of our questions were answered before he left.

If i could give zero stars i would but this person that represents this company is a joke. He told me that things that where out on my system i know isnt out i just had them replaced before. He didnt take the time to explain what was going on with my system. Every time i asked him a question he acted as if i was getting on his nerve. I immediately called and canceled my services with this company i will not do business with companies like that.

* 2023 Update - Our 97 yr old FIL lost AC over the labor day holiday weekend. Moving him was not a good option -- Tempo service tech worked for hours on the holiday and decided we would need a new HVAC unit. Tempo communicated with me throughout the evening to make sure someone was dispatched to be at his house at 8 AM to price and select the unit. By 10 AM we had a large truck rolling up with equipment and an entire crew of guys to install. THAT is amazing customer service, and we are again grateful!We used Tempo to do an electrical usage efficiency check on our house a handful of years ago (after wanting to sit down and cry over a $700 electric bill one summer), and they steered us in the right direction. Instead of replacing costly windows when that wasn't our problem, they found a bunch of shredded ductwork in the attic was the main cause of our high electric bills. Turns out in the 80's they installed this particular kind of ductwork that didn't hold up, and we'd have never know that was the problem. Anyway, they replaced our entire system with a heatpump, new ductwork, blew insulation into the attic, put a tent over the attic entrance, wrapped the hot water heater, etc -- for a market competitive price. It brought our electric bills WAY down. Now, in our new house, we have old equipment and the heat has failed -- not only did they come out promptly to price a new system, give us a discount because we are regular maintenance customers, but because there is bad weather headed our way this coming Sunday, they are sending out their emergency on-call crew to get the heater part of the system installed so we aren't without heat, and with no extra charge! Plus they offered 12 months no interest on the bill. Outstanding company, and we've never had bad service from them. Their sister plumbing company did a nice job installing a gas tankless hot water heater also, and was the only one of the many quotes we got that recommended putting in a larger gas line so we could have sufficiently hot water.

Update: they eventually fixed it after me being mad and nonstop calling them...the managers call and apologize...and offered me free membership, and I accepted, what can I do? Fingers crossed my HVAC is still working fine. change this to 3 star.So I bought a new house from trophy serviced by tempo air, two month after moving in when weather got colder the furnace never turn on. Get in contact with a technician after 5+ calls with no response from the emergency line and voice mails.I guess it’s no emergency for nowadays. Worst thing is they come to fix it and find out they need to replace a gas valve which need to order. Alright I waited a whole day in the scheduled time frame, they called me twice to make sure at home lmao and then somebody called me at 6pm telling me: oh they can’t find the delivery guy so they don’t have the parts, they have to come tomorrow… what kind of management is this? Do you guys even consider the time wasted? How do you compensate for all these time lost?And when I ask them can’t they schedule an emergency technician the lady responded: oh we don’t want to create confusion just because we don’t have parts! I feel my furnace didn’t break in bitter winter… again, just bad management and scheduling…

I have used Tempo Mechanical twice now and Mr. Khuong Do has been the service technician in both instances. He has always been kind, courteous, and honest with me about everything. Mr. Do has also been very helpful in explaining/showing me what the issue is, as well as the best and most cost effective way to repair it. Paul G. from Tempo Mechanical Services came to my house for a semi-annual inspection of my heating and AC system. He discovered several issues with my AC systems which would have rendered them unusable on a hot summer day. He spent almost 4 hours troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing the problems. Outstanding work! All the time he was polite, patient and explained what he was doing. After he was through, he cleaned up the mess. Can't ask for much more than that!

After dealing with another A/C company (that previously installed the system 3 years prior) who not only diagnosed the wrong issue the first visit, they could have potentially damaged more of the unit by attempting to fix the wrong issue, Tempo Mechanical came to the rescue. Mark F. the technician was very knowledgeable and found the problem within 15 minutes. I also received calls approximately 30 minutes before the technician was to arrive for both visits. Jynese L. was the person that called and was very courteous and helpful over the phone. The pricing is not the cheapest but you do get what you pay for (the other company came in cheap but was going to charge me for a trip each visit even after diagnosing it wrong). My advice is go with a professional company that has a reputation like Tempo Mechanical and get it done right. We are in Texas and HVAC deserves proper care and maintenance.**UPDATE**12/05/17Just had a preventative maintenance visit done by Tempo. Same level of service and professionalism. This level of consistent service means to me this company places the same focus and expectation on each employee. Several thumbs up! Great job y'all!

Our air conditioner quit cooling yesterday and the company that I had used previously and had a maintenance contract with couldn't come until two days later so I called Tempo. Joseph showed up within hours and determined that the motor had burned out. Unfortunately, the motor had to be ordered and couldn't be picked up until the next morning and the pick up was on the other side of town. Joseph was off the next day but offered to go and pick up the motor, on his day off, and brought it out mid-morning and installed it!! This is service above and beyond and should be highly lauded. Kudos to Tempo and to Joseph for outstanding service!!

Mr. Kenneth is very methodical and meticulous about his profession.He is knowledgeable about municipal water sources, system of pipes and other water apparatus and treatments. I observed him drained and flushed my water tanks, this was my first time every observing this type of inspection. I constantly asked questions about the process and without hesitation, Mr. Kenneth seemed to be very delightful to explained about possible minerals build up in the system and how draining the water tanks annually can significantly last the water tanks longer then five years if maintained regularly. He was AWESOME!! I’m very pleased with the services rendered by Mr. Kenneth . He went above and beyond his job duties. He is truly an asset to Tempo Air !! He deserve a raise and supervisory position career within the Tempo Air !!

Paul arrived on time today and took only 15 minutes to correct the issue. Very completent and nice personality.

My service tech was Randy NewKirk and he did a wonderful job servicing our system. After 2 years of problems and too many useless service calls to one of our heaters, Randy was able to determine the reason for the issue and he scheduled a service call for tomorrow with one of Tempo's installers. Randy was also very polite and answered all my questions clearly and quickly. I hope his company sends him out to us when the next maintenance call is due.

Randy N. (Technician) from Tempo Air was very knowledgeable in his role and the inspections of our 2 cooling units. He was able to troubleshoot why 1 of our cooling units was not functioning properly, and he explained in details, answers all my questions. We have got house from Lennar builder, Using Tempo Air services from irving texas for our house. the installation was bad it was affected my ac condensor thought i do regular maintenance with air filters etc. I didnot expect to happen for barely 7 year old home, and Lennox products says they have warranty for 10 years.

Randy came to do our semi-annual maintenance, and could not get the heat to come on. The entire unit had been installed about 4-5 months ago, and the thermostat wiring had not been connected quite right. He resolved that issue and completed his check of the system. Very polite, professional and probably spent twice as much time as the check-up would normally take.That's why we have used Tempo for 25+ years, great service!

Tempo has been servicing our units for almost 3 years now, and they continue to provide first class service on every visit. Our most recent technician, Mike H., was extremely friendly and professional. He was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he was doing, along with making some suitable recommendations. He even went out of his way to address a noise issue coming from one of the ceiling vents, which is now much quieter. On July 15, my 22 year old a/c required freon and a tech from Tempo was dispatched. When he arrived, he indicated some prices for charging starting at about $190 but gave no indication that he could rack up a huge bill by filling my obsolete system with more than it really needed to get by until replacement might occur. He indicated that repairs were out of the question since R-22 Freon parts were unavailable. I thought I’d be out $400-$500. Once he charged with a whopping 5 lbs of Freon, he was glancing at his iPad and his eyes grew big as he exclaimed “wow, this is expensive”. He did not give me any warning that I was racking up the huge bill. I was shocked when he issued a bill for over $1080.00. I attempted to escalate thru his management team to no avail and decided to pay the bill as he required payment on the spot. I was able to get $195 refunded, but the Field Supervisor refused to return my calls. Tempo issued a bid for a new system and offered a special $1000 refund of my money, but held back $1,250 of a $2500 rebate that Oncor was offering when upgrading from my 4 ton a/c to their 20 seer Trane variable speed heat pump that they proposed. I was able to secure a bid from a competitor that was $5, 245 cheaper for the same unit and got a full 10 year parts and labor warranty that included at no extra charge.

I definitely do not recommend this company for plumbing services. They charged me $370 and after the guy explained to me what the actual issue might be. So I basically got charged to temporarily fix the issue but went on to explain what he strongly suggests I do. Why charge me for something to temporarily fix it. So now less than a week later I call them so they can honor their 30 day warranty and well turns out that they will honor it only if I continue with the other job. No thank you. I’ll take my money elsewhere. I would’ve appreciated it if they could’ve just solved the issue from the beginning . Not take my $370 and expect me to pay an extra $590 less than a week later. Lousy

I've had issues over the years with the AC at both the old and new houses. Be prepared the parts you need will not be on the truck, but these Techs will diagnose and bring the right parts the same/next day to get you up and running! They actually over ordered for worst case because lightning could have taken so much stuff out, thankfully didn't need it all but at least they are prepared!

I must tell you I have problems with how some companies use reviews. My evaluation is about how I experienced Ms. George’s work as a professional but not an evaluation of Tempo overall or Tempo’s equipment, plumbers, installers, etc. That evaluation will come in time after experiencing the product(s) .My evaluation of Ms. George is outstanding as an Inside Sales Rep working via email. Her words (on paper) were responsive, informative, friendly, and most importantly there was not a hint of frustration or agitation? Her writing was always clear and precise yet simple and easy to understand. I understand interacting with the public day after day can cause some (if not most) to become jaded over time. “Jaded” did not show up in Ms. George’s written words. I do not know how Ms. George would respond in-person or on the telephone, but as an Inside Sales Representative communicating via email, she is the best thing since sliced bread!!!

I just want to say that during my troubles of having my HVAC system repaired while communicating with the builder and tempo air, the customer service I received was the best I have ever had.I want to thank Pamela and Ashley especially (quite literally the best customer service I've ever had).They were very aware of my problem, was attentive, reached out several times, quick about trying to resolve the problem. If I were tempo air, I would pay whatever it takes to keep them on as long as possible. I also want to thank the manager here even though I never got to speak to him directly or know his name. On the day a leak was found, he sent over a technician immediately and said we will bill the builder or cover it completely.The technician that helped me the most from Tempo Air was Mike Haghdoust. If you need a problem diagnosed and fixed, I would highly suggest asking for him. He helped expedite the fix for the problem drastically as he was able to correctly diagnose the problem.I want to thank Leon and his team as well that came out and replaced a huge part of the unit (the coil). They did an excellent job, was thorough and double checked to make sure everything was working. Leon walked me through everything that was wrong, what they did to fix it, what they replaced and why it was broken to begin with.My builder Yasha was also amazing in this whole process, but I want to thank the whole team here at Tempo Air that helped me through this HVAC disaster. Once again, huge thank you to Pamela and Ashley here for the multiple conversations we had to fix this problem over the course of 2-3 weeks.

From the appointment call to the completion of the job, they are one of the best. Fernando Perez came and diagnosed the issues with my air-conditioning unit. He not only completed the job to fix my A/C issues, but also identified a plumbing clogged up issue while fixing a drainage issue on my A/C unit. He then refered me his other tech to fix the drainage clogged up issue with free of service call charge as referral. Thet are professional deliver what they promised. Have been using Tempo Air since I bought my house. Tempo was the original HVAC contractor and offered me a membership in the Club. For an annual amount they come out twice a year and inspect and adjust my HVAC. Once a year they inspect my water heater and plumbing. I have been very happy with them. Always very knowledgeable and explain everything they do. Good people, very professional.

Condenser fan motor failed 3 weeks before 10 yr warranty expired. Deanna sent Alex out the same day I called in (on a Saturday) who diagnosed the problem and ordered the motor. Motor arrived on Monday and was installed by Alex on Tuesday.The ten year warranty I purchased when our Carrier unit was installed was well worth it. The technician came out for the spring check up. I told him the compressor didn't sound like it was running all the time and he told me that, This should have been a service call but I'm not going to charge you. Uh no. The air is coming out cold but I was just telling you the unit sounds funny sometimes. Technician said he fixed the loose wire. Three weeks later the compressor is not running at all and I removed the cover to see if I could fix the loose wire. The wires had burned off and the top of the capacitor is black. Called them back. The technician says the wires burned because the compressor is pulling too many amps, but it isn't when he checks it. They said they waived the trip charge but still charged me $177 on a $20 part and he was here less than 30 minutes. Called and complained and the office person says that the price they gave me was discounted already. Regular price is $300. I'm trying another HVAC company.

We were in dire need of someone to get our A/C working again. Our usual company could not come because they were booked up & we didn't have a membership with them! I am so disappointed in Tempo and their level of service to customers. We built a new home with Drees in 2021-2022 and have received nothing but poor, unprofessional service from Tempo Air each and every time we have had to call them - which they never want to talk on the phone and prefer to handle things through email. Each time we call or email to discuss any concerns we have or questions, we get the run around. We had a guy come out 8 weeks ago for a list of things and he did one thing on the list and left. We called to get him back out there and was told it would be 2 months before they could come out here! TWO MONTHS! When the guy came over today (I have the video) he leaned against the house and acted as though he wasn't going to come in and said he didn't understand why Tempo sent him out there - are you serious right now? For the square footage of our home and what they installed, they should be embarrassed and they won't make it right. The guy finally comes in to check to see why the upstairs (which is not a very large space - about 1/3 of the downstairs) wasn't pushing out cool air and why it runs all day. He tried bringing up conversations from the prior visit and tried instigating conversations that he knew would get us upset and we asked multiple times to move on and focus on what we asked them to come and do today. We got the runaround, the guy avoided the question and was only worried about how we should be charged for a $100 service call today but instead was going to charge it to Drees. He finally ended up telling us that it was the setting we had the fan on - (Which Drees NEVER walked us through the units and all of that like they should have), so we were hoping this guy would have been a bit more understanding and explain some things, but we clearly were expecting too much. He adjusted the fan setting and said, well, expect higher bills now and basically left. Just unreal - I don't understand and I will only use Tempo if we have to. There are a ton of better companies out there we will support and recommend. Stay away from Tempo.

One of our units was not heating. Lee came over and explained how to set the thermostat and proceeded to set them for us. He then proceeded to fix the problem (air in the gas line). Lee was very patient and answered all of our questions. The system is working great.

Highly knowledgeable, honest, attentive to concerns, friendly and courteous (all of these have always been the case with Tempo).Takes the time to explain inspection and service results and the larger picture. Did run somewhat late, but, not enough to knock anything off for because schedules are difficult many times.They installed our HVAC system back in 2006 when we had our house built and it is still going strong. May not be the cheapest service on the block, but, for HVAC, especially in Texas, I do not want the cheapest. Tempo also cares.

Every single person in DFW should avoid these people. I unfortunately bought a new house that the builder contracted with this awful company. My AC went out and it is currently 84 degrees inside. Now, I moved into this house 1/17, and it is now 6/11. Not even 5 months, and more than half of that time the AC was almost never used, so that gives you an idea of the quality of service/parts you can expect with Tempo. I placed my first phone call at 1130am and was told someone would come out today. Shortly thereafter, I received a call back from the same person now saying it would be Tuesday, but that I'm on a supposed wait list and that the dispatcher would contact me. After still hearing nothing from the dispatcher I called again and requested it be escalated. I wanted to speak with the dispatcher manager as well as the service center manager. An hour later of hearing nothing, I call again. This time I talk to a manager who says he will escalate and call me back in 30 minutes. An hour later he finally calls back and I still have not talked to the dispatcher and nothing has changed other than it just getting hotter inside and outside. 4 hours have passed, and had I known, I would have just called and paid a different company to come out and get it fixed TODAY. If you want a company that actually cares about you, your family and your pets, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The builder has been informed about how awful this company is, and I truly hope they find a different AC contractor so no one else has to go through this.Edit: The dispatchers never called and the manager I spoke with never called back as both were promised. However, a tech named Marquis did show up, to my surprise, as no one bothered telling me they did find someone to come out. Marquis was a really really good guy, and worked really hard for 2-3 hours in high 90 degree weather and was super nice the whole time. I give him 5 stars. It's unfortunate he has to represent the people I was dealing with.

Tempo has very knowledgeable and highly motivated employees who come in and execute what needs to be address aswell as really listens to your concerns, they will explain everything to you and walk you through it all. I had Fernando P. Come this time and he was incredible! I had a complete replacement of my system and duct work last year and they have been on top of making sure everything is still working properly and when my water heater went out they were here first thing in the morning with a brand new one to replace it. This review is strictly about their prices. I called for a quote and gave them all the info needed (the same info I gave other companies). They were very polite and called me back within 20-30 minutes. Price quoted over the phone was $9000; other companies for the same system quoted me over the phone $6700. I understand for quotes over the phone contractors have to be very careful not to under quote you and I have that in mind but Tempo Air were way off. I'm sure they do a great job and have enough customers to pay for that but $2300 difference was way too much for me.

Michael Coyle was the service technician. He provided a second opinion.I originally thought I would need a new coil because of a refrigerant leak. I had another company out for routine maintenance. Before they came my house was cooling fine so I was surprised there was a leak.Tempo installed the unit when the house was built 6 years ago. For the second opinion Michael checked for the leak but couldn’t pinpoint it. He recommended waiting to replace the coil and told me what to do if In the future the A/C starts to not cool.We may have to replace the coil eventually or may find out that it is the condenser that is leaking. I appreciate his honesty. I ended up buying both the HVAC and plumbing memberships. I will request Michael anytime I need service.

Jackie V. was never here. Apparently Tempo's plans changed.This has been an extremely frustrating experience. On 7/19/17 after living in this house for just over one year our a/c went out. Tempo's solution was change out evap coil, also replace condenser.This was done to the tune of $5767.00. The new equipment came with a 10 yr parts, 1 yr labor warranty. We discussed an additional 1 time labor warranty for $551.00. I chose not to get it. After all Carrier was a well recognized brand and Tempo came highly recommended by friends and neighbors in our new (to us) home.Two years and two months later that well recognized brand and highly recommended installer let us down with a $1164.00 thump! Going to be difficult recommending either to any of our friends or neighbors going forward in this 10-12 year-old community.Would appreciate any relief Tempo can offer.Graham Darling

I notified Tempo that one of the AC units under warranty needed to be checked for a resident as it is well in the 90s last weekend. They told me they would be out next day between 8am and 12pm. I told them the address of our property as well as the unit number. According to the resident did not show at any point. I called again on Sunday after the scheduled time and was told that they were dispatched and would be there. Monday I get a call from my resident that, still, no one showed to check the AC. When I called Tempo for the third time they told me that the tech went out and that the resident was home and detected no problems. I asked them then why was my resident telling me that no one came to her apartment. I confirmed the address for the second time and the apartment number for the third time. I was told that they would speak with the tech assigned and I would receive a call back. I did not receive a call back. Tuesday morning I receive a call from my resident again stating no one had come out. As I stood in the office on the line with Tempo my co worker was told that it was ME that said would call back and that I never gave them the apartment name or address.The fact that your customer service has no accountability and would lie to my coworkers because they dropped the ball is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled, especially with the temperatures what they are. And especially because they have no remorse in spinning a lie to protect themselves while possibly threatening someone else's job.Have a good day.

I made an appointment with Tempo Plumbing to install a new toilet in an upstairs bathroom. I removed the old toilet, put in new flooring, and brought the new toilet upstairs. When the plumber arrived, I inquired as to whether the flange should be replaced prior to the installation. The plumber said that this was not necessary. Shortly after the plumber left following the installation, I noticed water seeping up through the new flooring. I called Tempo to have a plumber come back and address the issue. The customer service person on duty was very polite and efficient, and expedited the request promptly. When the on-call plumber arrived, he removed and reseated the toilet, but the leak persisted. He concluded that the problem must be with the toilet itself, and that I should return it for a new one. The plumber also recommended that the flange be replaced when the new toilet is installed. The charge for the subsequent service call was $725.00, in addition to the amount already paid for the earlier installation. The plumber said that to have Tempo come back to replace the flange and install a new toilet would be over $1000. Shouldn't the possible leak from the toilet itself have been pointed out at the time of the initial installation, instead of during the $725.00 service call? I'm also questioning why the flange wasn't recommended to be replaced on the first call. I've been a long-time Tempo Air customer, but this is very disappointing. Over $1500 later, I have no working toilet and a ruined floor.

Courteous, timely, professional. Scheduled a service call for 8 AM for what we thought would be a warranty repair for our Lennox unit. Technician Fernando Perez arrived at 7:55 AM, introduced himself, listened to our concern, and went to verifying the issue. Long story short, the warranty repair was out of date so it was full retail. Vickie in the backoffice and her manager Justin were understanding but held to the company's position. They did work with us so that the financial impact was less painful. We appreciate Tempo for their professionalism and for working with us. Fernando was helpful and got our ac unit back up and running. Though the repair was costly, it was less than what was quoted by another ac company who did our spring tuneup.

On a scheduled HVAC maintenance inspection, they found a weak capacitor. Quoted $450 to replace it. Unit six years old. I asked about warranty and he told me 5 years. I looked it up in my papers and found it to be 10 years. $140 to replace.On the yearly plumbing inspection, had a water leak which they said they couldn't find without a $455 leak detection. I showed him a place in the yard where I suspected the leak to be but he seemed disinclined to inspect it. The location was an old sprinkler system just in front of the water meter, which had standing water. I delayed the leak detection, dug down, found the pipe and made the repair. I am a 76 year old female.I have no confidence in this company.

Tempo installed the heating system in my brand new home. I moved in 12/21 and the heater was not functioning. They came out and reviewed and said a blower was installed backwards so they ordered parts but they wouldnt be in until 12/26. This wouldnt be a problem except during this time it was 30 degrees or below every day. We had to run our wall fireplace just to sustain the house over 50 degrees. I have children so you can image the horror of this with nowhere else to go. They installed the part but the heater still did not heat the house above 62 degrees. The installer said he had to move around some duct work to fix the problem. The house warmed to 68 degrees. The heater was running 24 hours just to maintain 68 degrees. Next thing you know the heater bill for 3 weeks was $217. I called in to see how they were going to resolve this and they said nothing since the BTUs made it into the house regardless of the efficiency. If you have the opportunity NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I called the company and left several messages for a week with different levels of supervisors and supervisors supervisors until I finally reached Bill who is over Randy and Ryan. They called back to inform me of the good news that they weren't going to help.

Ryan Harper my husband has been calling you for the past 3 weeks. He's called you every single day this week and you have yet to return a SINGLE phone call! This is very disrespectful and totally unprofessional of you and your company. We have a huge mess in our home because you guys forgot to add a secondary drain to the drain pain, instead your team capped it off and on top of that the emergency shut off did not stop the unit. This caused our drip pan to bend and overflow on to our ceiling in the powder bathroom downstairs. MAJOR DAMAGE!! I understand that this is a code violation on your part and the proper courtesy would be to make sure we are taken care of and at least return a darn phone call!!! We are first time homeowners and to have to go through something like this is pitiful. It is now going on two months and we have yet to get proper answers because you Ryan Harper will not answer your phone nor return a simple phone call. Man just do what's right!!!!

Live in The Portofino Apartments in Pasadena. Crew replaced my A/C system this morning. They are in the process of replacing all the systems in my complex. They were very professional and patient in answering questions and kept me informed during complete process. Spent time explaining new system. Everything went well considering that I was not informed by apartment management about replacement of system, via note on door, until about one hour after they had started on my unit.

Fernando is Friendly, knowledgeable and good worker. He is a good salesman also. It is a shame that Tempo air took almost a week to get someone to come and service my ac under warranty. They certainly need help when it comes to scheduling and communicating with their customers. Not Fernando’s fault. I highly recommend Fernando as a service technician.

I have been a customer of Tempo Air for 18 years and carry a Gold Membership. My AC went out on Tuesday, 9/17/19, and I had hoped things would have been handled differently. Kevin, the service technician, advised that I was in need of a whole new system, as mine was beyond repair. He originally communicated to me that it should only be a couple days to have us up and running, only to come back and tell me it would be an entire week. With 4 kids and 3 dogs, that was just not something realistic for my family.I was provided a quote for a 17 seer system valued at $10,560. When I asked Kevin for a quote using a lower seer rating, I was told Tempo doesn't offer systems lower that a 15 or 16 seer rating. Yet, I then received a second quote for a 14 seer system valued at $8369. I feel that instead of trying to meet my financial needs that I was being upsold on a replacement. I was then offered a first appointment install for the very next day, with all of 20 minutes to make a split decision that could cost me upwards of $10K. That didn't even grant me the courtesy of having time to discuss the circumstance with my husband, who was at work at the time.When I asked Kevin if I could have more time to decide, could we at least push the install to Thursday, the answer I received was I had 20 minutes for next day install or it would be an entire week. My gold membership, which I had paid into monthly for the past 18 years, was not only supposed to give me priority scheduling, but also $2400 in Customer rewards towards the purchase of a new system.It wasn't until 5:37 p.m. that evening that I received an email from Justin Shelton, VP Service Manager. It was then he explained to me there was a deadline they had to meet when ordering equipment, hence the 20 minute rush decision. He then reassured me he could have me up and running by the end of the week.At this point, I had already had another company come out to look at my system that exact same day, with a promise to return the next day, Wednesday, by 9 a.m., to install my new system. I emailed Justin on Wednesday, 9/18 at 7:17 a.m., advising that I felt like I was backed into a corner and that a company I have been loyal to for 18 years turned its back on me. That while I had hoped to continue using Tempo going forward, that at this time we decided to move forward with another company.I received a phone call shortly after sending my email from Justin offering me a 14 seer system at a cost even lower than I was originally quoted. At this time, I did ask to see if I would still be able to carry my Gold Membership on my new system, even if I decided to have it installed by another company. Justin then advised yes, I could, but that he would have to send over a technician to inspect my new system and confirm it was up to Tempo Air's standards. If it wasn't, I would have to cover the cost of parts and labor to get it where it would need to be in order for me to continue to carry my membership.I called Justin on Thursday, 9/19, to advise him that we did have another company install our new system. At that time I notified him that we did in fact want to continue our relationship with Tempo, and could we please move forward with the inspection of the new system.I also asked if my $2400 in loyalty rewards could be used towards the cost of a new water heater, considering how poorly my situation was handled and the fact the water heater would be provided by Tempo. I was told this was not possible, but the company could extend a $500 discount.It was then communicated to me that it would cost me $118 to have the inspection performed. I was absolutely appalled. Given all that had transpired and the time I had been with the company, this was how they valued our relationship. I expressed my extreme disappointment in the way everything was handled and that he would not even consider covering the cost of that inspection, and that he left me no choice but for us to part ways.

They were friendly and competent; however, it was a simple fix that could have easy been handled over the phone in 60 seconds would.When the technician knows exactly what was going on before he even looked at anything and all it took was flipping a switch, yet they knowingly come out to do a service and charge you $100. That doesn't exactly build a great deal of consumer trust. I will take my business elsewhere next time.

Kevin, the emergency service tech, explained what he was doing, got it up and running, and restored a cool house at midnight. They performed the annual cooling season service. They was very thorough in the system review, informative, and courteous. We are grateful that we selected Tempo Air to service our plumbing issues. Eric Stewart is a great plumber. He assessed our problem and planned it out very well so that the repair will do the least damage to the construction of the house and corrected the problems. This was a big project. The house was recently purchased by us and it seems that the leak and sewer smells were due to disconnected pipes from that of the main sewer lines. The tub and bathroom pipes were floating just below the foundation spitting out all the waste water to the bottom of our house, going nowhere. Eric and team resolved this terrible problem with quality work. Thank you.

I had another company come out to do a spring AC system tune-up and they told me I needed my coils replaced. I had Tempo come out to provide a second opinion on my system because they had originally installed it when my house was built four years ago. When I called the office staff was very accommodating, getting me an appointment the next day and providing a 2 hour window for the service. My technician Rick showed up a few minutes early and was very straightforward with me about the condition of my AC system and what my options were. I appreciated his candor and helpfulness.

Will performed flawlessly during this visit; he kept me informed of all aspects of his inspection. Secondly, Fernando’s visit always consists of the correct blend of diplomacy and tactWill is very thorough in performing periodic maintenance. From high & low pressure readings, voltage and current readings, he doesn’t miss anything! He’s genuinely interested and more than willing to listen and explain idiosyncrasies of my system, and particularly recommendations for the “perfect” filter to use. Refreshingly, he listened to my feedback, acting upon it, and implementing solutions without delay; being thorough is normal for him; others don’t do that!I feel Fernando Perez typifies those qualities, which separate the spectator from the player. The enthusiasm with which he approaches his trade speaks for itself. Gathering from the attention he gave this visit, perfection is standard for him. His loyalty, devotion to duty, and integrity has earned him the admiration and respect of not only me, but my wife as well!Tempo Services should recognize him in front of his peers reinforcing that this field technician can perform at the upmost level, no matter the task; all the time. Our A/C went out during the night, so I called the 24/7 number. They called me back within 5 minutes and scheduled a technician to come out first thing in the morning. The arrival time was between 9am and 12pm and it I was a little discouraged when I got a call at 11:59 AM that they were finally on their way but Fernando our technician made up for it. He was very professional and respectful. He was very patient with my questions and educated me along the way. Fernando was able to diagnose, repair, and finalize everything in about an hour. If you need someone to come out request Fernando. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt he had checked everything from point A to point B thoroughly.

Terrific Team. Capable & Friendly. I always ask for Randy. His work is outstanding and I have a very high degree of confidence in his ability and character.Recently, the air filtration system failed on our main A/C unit. Over the previous couple weeks my wife and I were getting very ill from the re-emergence of dirty molds, bacteria, viruses, allergens, etc. I call for service in mid afternoon yesterday, and Randy Newark was at my front door this morning at 9:30am. After checking out my two systems and learning of the failed filtration system. Randy offered two options to remedy my issue. First repair the current system (Very expensive), or replace the old system with newer less maintenance new technology referred to as Bi-Polar.... A bulb-less system. The Bi-Polar system option was also cheaper since it was on sale with the fall maintence service. We opted for this for both our systems and saved over $450.00 in the process Overall, the work was completed in a few hours, both of our systems now have significant air filtration, our systems have been serviced for the Fall/Winter season and we saved $450.00. Randt knowing our systems was a big help and Randys excellent professionalism and technical knowledge created a perfect experience. Randy's the best!! Ask for him...

We had a gas leak and called Tempo service. They charged us $980 for just identifying the leak, even after we repeatedly told them where the leak was identified by Atmos. This money was charged just to diagnose the problemThey gave an estimate for additional $2100 to fix the leakThey were not forthcoming in using the coupon from AtmosOverall poor experience, used another company to fix the problem and I have the city permit passed and gas is back up in 2 daysThe entire project with another company came to $1400 including inspectionPlease be careful with this company for their Gas service

Had a cooling issue on Saturday, called tempo air Sunday morning, will came in as the technician , he found the cause of the issue, fixed it within few minutes. And helped me out in understanding the basics of HVAC and gave me some tips for home maintenance of the AC.. AWESOME !!!!Edited review:I got another technician for the inspection (regular maintenance) , he was not awesome as Will Armstrong , Louis knew his stuff but took a long time for replacing the capacitor and doing some paper work on charging the credit card. I may prefer Will next time around.

My AC was not cooling. Was fixed in a timely manner. Staff was kind and professional. They were patient and took time to explain what the issue was and what needed to be fixed.

My builder got our AC quote from Tempo. Their proposal severely underpowered our system. when I brought to attention my desires for the performance of the system, they backed out of even doing the job. They want to only use equipment brands / sizes they choose and apparently not open to customer input. Instead of following up with me to have a convo, they told my builder they were backing out. $30k job to install 3 units in a new build and all I wanted was to ensure it was powerful enough to perform in tx heat to accomodate our desires. If you want anything other than the boxed solution they present - go else where. They wanted to install 5 tons of AC in 3750 FT and wouldn't discuss anything else. Save your time and your energy.

Bryan not only did an amazing job quickly identifying the root cause of my issue (burning smell coming from the furnace), but he also detected that my A/C unit was turning on, when it shouldn't have been, since only the heat was turned on! He's an awesome technician, and even took the time to explain the underlying issue with the mother board, which was causing the A/C unit to erroneously turn on. He was very thorough, explained the different options available for resolution, and most importantly resolved my problems during one appointment.

I had a service call to my home a few days ago, and the technician was 3 hours late. I initially made the appointment the day before and thought they had emergency service. Website advertises as such “Emergency? call us today.” I was informed they didn’t and made an appointment for 12, which I wrote down on my calendar. I called the office at 1 when I hadn’t heard anything, thinking I may have made a mistake and was told someone was on the way after he finished a job. At 1:49 I was called to say a technician was en route and he arrived at 2:35. Luckily the technician knew exactly what the problem was, he was polite and efficient and I have no complaints with him. It sounds like a scheduling issue when I discussed it with him.The next issue is with the service fee of $93. I was informed of this fee, and I understand what it’s for, but I wasn’t informed that it would be charged in ADDITION to labor fees and the repair when I made the appointment. Like a car dealership, I understand I’m paying you to come out and diagnose my HVAC unit, and if for some reason I couldn’t afford, wanted to perform the repair myself, or have another estimate you aren’t losing money for coming out. But especially on a warranty item, the service fee should be included in the repair fee, just as it would be if it were a car. I suppose I would be a little less upset if I hadn’t missed a half day of work waiting and had been called earlier in the day and informed of the delay. I know Darling Home Builders uses you all for their work, and I the reason I called you again was for the good experience I had with the home owners warranty work last year. But where’s the incentive to purchase a maintenance plan with you all in the future or recommend you again to friends and neighbors?

Fernando did an excellent job for 2 issues I had with my a/c: a drip from the ceiling and a loud banging noise from my PTAC unit. He got here early (first appointment) to inspect the attic, in spite of the high temperatures we've been having (>100). He took a video of the duct work and area of condensation and walked me through it from inside the house, clearly explaining the problem. He then examined the PTAC unit, identified the issue with that, and ordered a replacement part. He again explained the cause, ramifications and solution very clearly. At all times, he was professional, friendly, and thorough.

Ill never do business with this co. Again..We had some issues with our AC unit. Tempo came out looked at everything and told us we had bigger issues than we thought. Our main issue was that the AC unit would not cut itself off constantly running and us having to manually run the unit. This is a brand new carrier mini split duck unit supposed to be state-of-the-art. Anyway we asked them to fix this they went up told us we had more problems than just that . They told us it would be $3000 and that would include us joining their club for all their wonderful maintenance programs. We agreed. They fix the AC replaced all the ducting but still the AC would not cut itself off. We complained about this several times and two months later they came back replace the control unit for the AC unit And charged us 165 labor. Now that don’t sound like much But a deal is still a deal and that money should’ve been included in on the original fix that they never completed. When I complained he just danced around the subject and they refused to acknowledge that they made a deal with me. In short to me that’s a lying....

Mark was able to find the problem and fix it and I wasn't out an unreasonable about of time. Very pleasant. I had an appointment today given 3 hour window from 9am to 12pm. They called me around 9am to inform me the tech will be coming in a little after noon. I understood and confirmed with the rep that the tech needs to be in before 1pm as latest. No one called or showed up. I called almost at 1pm and the rep named Tanya said she didn't know what time the tech would be coming. After I explained about the situation from the morning, she didn't care or show any gesture of apology but she bluntly asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I DID NOT WANT TO RESCHEDULE. Ray was the best technician I've had who does work in any discipline. Ray took the time to educate me on how our units work and the issue. It would have been extremely easy for anyone to throw in the towel and recommend replacements parts from the readings he was getting. However, the readings didn't make sense to him so he took time to look further into the issue and found another company made a mistake two years ago and he corrected it. My units are under warranty but Ray's knowledge and experience saved me thousands of dollars in labor.

I went with Tempo since the brand was referred by our neighbor who is in the construction industry. We were facing issues with our ac unit and needed someone to come in - good part with Tempo was that they could send someone in the next day which we found was hard with other players that we reached out to. Randy was assigned and he spent almost 2 hours and left certifying that the ac unit was in good shape. While he was here, he did rectify a connection issue with the Nest which per him resulted in some ice formation. This was on a Friday afternoon and come Saturday, the unit is again giving issues - the temperature inside the house was in the 80s making it uncomfortable for all of us so much that we ended up sleeping upstairs which is served by another unit. We called Tempo and were told that a Tech would come on Monday. Mike came to our home and did some tests - the issue we were facing is that the unit was turning on for a little bit, every now and then. He quickly identified the problem and mentioned that the contactor needs replacement. He had the part (not OEM but some other brand) and confirmed that it is a reliable option which they use and comes with a one year warranty.Things that didn't go well for us,- Even when the visit was for the same root cause which surfaced within 24 hours, their initial position was to charge for the visit. The first visit was charged 161 dollars. I had to push back to get the charge waived off- The cost for the spare part was ridiculously high. I looked up online and found that the price was below 50 bucks and Tempo charged me 318 dollars. I did bring that up with the Tech, he mentioned that it is their price and comes with a margin.- Through both interactions, none of the techs explored warranty claim options, with our manufacturer Lennox. This is something that can be done by any service provider - we figured that subsequently. Since this was not done, customer orientation is questionable.- Both Techs tried to sell the annual contract for maintenance which is for 360 bucks - you get 2 visits and discount for parts covered in that- Not sure why Randy didn't check contactor in the first visit - he checked the capacitor and certified it to be good. If there are multiple parts that can lead to failure, shouldn't all of them be checked to avoid inconvenience to the customer!!!I am very disappointed with the overall experience and their pricing strategy on parts.

I bought a brand new home in 2015, my AC unit just broke down. I have warranty on the parts for 5 years. Not on the labor which was 436 dollars. For the technician to come out it was 93 dollars, of I wanted the AC fixed the same day I had to pay 150 dollars, I schedule the next available appointment and it was monday or Tuesday, this is based on the technician. Why would he offer Monday when he knew he would not be available. Tuesday was the next appointment, I get a phone call and was told when the technician arrives after 6pm it would be another 107 dollars, after hours!!! What kind of company is that who schedules an appointment and can't follow through and I have to cover the cost!Their product is so bad it didn't even last long. When I first moved into my house someone connected the wires wrong and the AC and heater where running to the same time, my electric bill waa 90 something dollars in just one week, brand new home. I didn't pick the AC company, it came with the house, but I would definitely not recommend that company to any one. Terrible product!!!I would give 0 points if I could!

I recently inquired about servicing installation of a new supply plenum after Tempo successfully installed a new return plenum. As a conscientious consumer I got a second opinion/estimate from another contractor. The pictures provided is what was shown to me as I accompanied the tech in my attic. The quality of work on the return plenum installation much to my surprise was awful. I am horribly disappointed with the quality of Tempo’s work. I trusted Tempo to provide good craftsmanship as they pride themselves on doing so. I am glad I chose to get a second opinion. This is the third time I’ve encountered issues concerning integrity in the provision of Tempo’s service. Please review the photos provided.

Much gratitude to Simon, who replaced our capacitor and fan motor yesterday and got us back to cooling again! He truly went above and beyond to provide excellent service. He was extremely kind, courteous and professional; took the time to explain everything; helped clean parts of the unit (which he did not have to do); and made sure all other aspects of the system were in good shape before leaving. I will definitely call and request his help again in the future, if possible. Thank you, Simon!As far as the scheduling goes: the lack of a time window was slightly awkward to work around when getting something setup, but they were able to get someone out to us the same day I called, which of course is crucial when your AC isn't working. I was given a call when the technician was on the way, was told he would arrive in approximately 30 minutes, and he arrived right on time. No issues here.

Khuong Do is a great tech that I feel very comfortable with. I like having the same tech every time.I do have a suggestion for the your company. I know the tech can't carry every size of filters you manufacture on their vans, but they do know where they are going each day and if the customer would like replacements for the actual bi-maintenance, the company should provide the tech with the amount and possibly for the next maintenance visit. I don't like having to order and then put them in myself. Too much of a hassle. Thats why I have a tech do it.

Mr. Kim Faulkenbury has been servicing our two AC/Heating units for the past 15+ years, and before each servicing date, once in the Fall and once in the Spring, we request the Tempo scheduler to assign Mr. Faulkenbury fore the job.  Our past experience with Kim is exceptionally satisfactory.  He knows our house, comes in with his shoes covered in the blue plastic booties, picks up the new filters, goes upstairs, does his job, and when the work is complete, I don't have to see if he turned off the attic lights. Before he departs, brings down the used filters, and provides useful inputs.I also hasten to add that most of the time the schedulers also recognize my preference for Kim and do their best to accommodate my request. ; at times, when Kim is very busy, some other technician is assigned, and I have found that person/s just as efficient as Kim. I like Kim because of our long association and the trust that is built...He will do the Right Thing; it is a feeling of comfort for which I may be paying higher maintenance fees with TEMPO, and I accept that.November 10, 2019

A tech was sent on Thursday and fixed an obvious problem. A couple,of,days later we noticed,the air was only cool, not cold and called the company again. The very next morning another tech arrived and confirmed our fears. Freon about gone as was our 18 yr old air conditioner. We have only lived here 2 years so have no idea about the previous maintenance.This tech put in a call for a sales rep, and in ,less than 2 hours Mr Bullock arrived. This was on a Sunday.Mr. Bullock was very knowledgeable. Many years In The business he immediately saw what was going to be needed, gave us exact costs , and discounts if there were any. We felt very comfortable with him And would highly recommend this company (so far..the work is to be done in a few days) Mr Bullock brought with him a portable unit to help keep our house cool until the work can be done.

We just bought a new home, and the builder told us to reach out to Tempo for our HVAC system for warranty registration. I spoke with one of their representatives and she stated that they get it taken care off. And I should receive email for confirmation. I waited for a week, but haven't received any things, I then did the warranty register myself for 10 years. If I would believe and continue to wait I would have missed the 30 days registration deadline.

The AC went out on my new home. Jorge Dominquez came out and took care of everything for me. This dude made absolutely every effort to ensure that my AC was working again. He even had to go get more parts at one point. He came back and kept working until like 8:30-8:45 at night! All I had to do was turn the thermostat on when he said it was ready. I was able to spend quality time with my kids and enjoy my evening undisturbed. On top of a job well done, Jorge was extremely polite and courteous as he kept me updated on the repairs. If this isn't the absolute best customer service, than I don't know what is. Seriously this is as good as it gets! I would recommend Tempo to anyone who asks, and I would even request Jorge D. because he does some outstanding work.

Had contracted with Tempo by joining their club for twice a year HVAC maintenance. Scheduling and notifications was as stated. Mike C was on time and went right to work. He did a thorough check of my entire HVAC system. He demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the system and understood reasons for any readings that were slightly off (i.e. outside temperature etc.). Got the work done, but buyer beware re: high costs and cust.service issues. We determined we had a gas leak on a Saturday less than two weeks after the massive cold front that recently hit Texas, so plumbers are in short supply. We knew it would cost more to have a plumber come last minute and were prepared for an emergency callout price point. The tech was able to come out quickly (thank you for that) and told us it would be 1100.00 to find the leak. The tech spent about 45 minutes at the house and located a small leak at the gas connection for our stove. Fixed that, installed a pressure gauge on our gas line, and told us he'd be back Monday morning to check- if the pressure holds, no additional leaks are present and we can get the city to pass us off so Atmos can reconnect the line. We pay the bill, which landed at 1307.00 with taxes/service charges.Monday rolls around, no sign of anybody. Spouse calls Tempo who has NO record of a Monday appt so supervisor is contacted and says tech will be out immediately. Two techs show, and as the line has not maintained pressure, they look for additional leaks. They tighten/bolster connections where the gas line hits the property and also where the line enters the house. They wait about an hour to ensure line is not losing pressure, then leave confirming the city has been contacted for same day check. For these services (tightening/reinforcing two exterior above ground pipes), they charge an additional 796.00. This was surprising as we thought the 1300 we already paid included this final check/visit. City never shows, we call city utilities office at close of day Monday, the city says they were never informed of the check. City inspector is notified and he comes out and passes us off. He inspects the work done and all looks good but he was visibly startled at our total bill and confirmed city never got the request to check the line.So, all's well that ends well- but we spent 2103.00 for about three hours' of time/service. No major repairs were done - the gas connector for the stove was replaced, and two pipes were tightened or fit was improved. We contacted a separate large master plumbing company afterwards and asked what they would charge for this exact work/time (without disclosing what we had just paid). They said 650.00 for the first hour and 150/hr for each hour after that. That gets us closer to the 1300 we paid initially, and which I think would have been reasonable given the weekend call out and the skill level required to ensure gas safety. We are more than happy to pay fair prices and truly appreciate the expertise required but this felt a little like gouging, especially given the lack of effective follow up (the missing Monday appt and the city not receiving the request for check). Totally understand plumbers are working insane hours right now and appreciate the fact that they got us back online but 2100.00 for the services rendered is really hard to justify.

New Lennar home, Tempo Air installed vents and ducts. Having issues with my vents letting all sorts of smells in the house, not sure they were installed correctly. Was told Tempo would be at my house on Thursday, they call and say they are just calling to set an appointment for next week. I set the appointment for 8 AM Monday, no one shows up. I rearranged my super busy schedule, woke up at 4 AM to make sure 8 am was free, completely disrespected my time. Got a callback eventually, tech had an emergency and didn't come into work. Reschedule for today, after 12 noon. No call, no one shows up. I will not be using Tempo for any future service, will not be recommending Tempo for anyone else, and I'm completely disgusted with their service.

This review covers two visits, both by Randy N, the service tech. He came during the appointed time window. He was very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned replacing the filters and putting water through the drains, he volunteered to do that for me, and did so. When I asked him to show me how to replace the filters and flush the drains myself, he did so pleasantly and patiently. On the first visit he checked my thermostats to make sure that they were properly set up.

We moved into a brand new house a little over 5 years ago and kept Tempo Heat & Air as our yearly service hvac contractor. That was a mistake that have cost us thousands. Took their word and signed up for their annual service membership which they come out twice a year. Appear each year there was some kind of problems with the units starting the first year. Thank goodness the first major problem was under warranty. A-coil went out. Second year something else. Well, here in our 5th year they came out to do their routine maintenance and the technician stated the capacitor in the other unit is still good but has signs of going bad so will need to replace. Everything else looks good though. He's stating when replacing that capacitor he will need to put 1-2 lbs of refrigerants. Last I checked, replacing a capacitor has nothing to do with losing refrigerant. Anyway, I went along with it and let him know I have pulled the hose out so he can use to clean the condensers since that was part of the routine service. When the casing was opened to the condenser the fins were not even clean which is something that should have been done during the yearly service. He has sent me an email recommending replacement of things that were worn and old. Remind you, these are 5 years old units. Two days later the a/c stop working so we got a second opinion which appear that the unit have somehow lost all the refrigerants within the A-coil compartment of the unit. Spoke to owner which he stated his company will need to do another leak test ($200.+) that will be charge to me plus all the labor and refrigerants before they can do the repair under warranty. Even though this has already been done by another company and we have identified the leak. He will have someone call to scheduled an appt to do the test the following day, then it will be a few days later before they can do the work. A day later and I have yet hear from anyone. Guess this is the service you get when you pay a membership which advertised that your call and service will be a priority. A company that can’t be trusted.

My home is currently under warranty with Lennar and we have been having issues with one room not cooling as well as the others. I put in a service request and was told Tempo would be out to inspect on the morning of 7/6. I reached out to Tempo once it got close to 2pm with no call from them saying they would be late. I was assured we were still on the schedule and that the tech was just running behind. I called again at 7pm when I still had not received a call from dispatch. Again I was assured I would receive a call when they were on the way. No contact, no technician.I called this morning around 9am to let them know I waited all day yesterday and heard nothing. The rep I spoke with this morning stated that they were short a technician yesterday and that's probably why my appointment was missed. That's extremely unprofessional. I should have been told yesterday that I was wasting my time waiting at home all day for someone who would not show. Furthermore, no one reached out to let me know I needed to be rescheduled. So now I'm waiting for the second day in a row without knowing if someone will show up or not. I see lots of positive reviews for this company but that unfortunately has not been my experience so far and definitely makes me not want to use them for future jobs.

I don't normally take time to post reviews but am compelled to share my positive experience w/ two Tempo specialists that came to service my house recently. I was having the typical problem of the A/C unit not cooling like it should and so called Tempo. Mike and Reuben from Tempo were on-time, courteous and truly professional. They took the time to look at my history on file, clarified exactly what my problem was, and then took it a step further by arguing on my behalf to have the repairs I needed done for free. I am simply stunned that guys like this are still in this field, and am truly grateful to them and to Tempo for their outstanding work. The issue was fixed promptly and at no charge. It may not seem like a big thing, but Tempo will now be the first and only number I call when I have any A/C or plumbing issues.

I recently purchased a new construction home from MainVue Homes in Frisco and Tempo Air is the company that installed my a/c. It has never worked properly since I moved in in May, 2018. The company has been out a total of four times so far and sent out four different technicians who don't seem to know what they are doing. One of them even asked me which direction the vent was supposed to go. They have terrible customer service and getting them to come out takes weeks in itself and when they do come out they spend hours at my house, never seem to know what they are doing and never resolve the issue. I will never refer this company to any of my clients!

Everything was smooth. I make a call because my furnace stopped working on our new house after 1.5 years (Tempo was the installer of the furnaces). They were quick to identify our house information, provided us warranty info, and made an appointment. The technician (Ray) who came out was prompt on time and was very experienced. Within 10-15 min, he identified the problem, notified that a part needs ordered and he needs to come back. He answered all my questions very kindly. He came back when the part was in, fixed it promptly and everything got back to normal very quickly. Their communication level is impressive and we would definitely use them again.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been waiting for a month to have the a/c in my house serviced. 2 weeks ago we had an appointment and the technician never came. Received a call last week and was promised that since they didn't show up the week prior that the service would be done in the morning. Morning came and went today and I received a call around noon telling g me he would be here in the afternoon. Told them I had another appointment at 3:30 since my appointment with them was originally in the morning, was told they would call and come after I was back. I've been calling the office for over an hour now because I'm still waiting. Finally got a dispatcher on the phone that now wanted to make me another appointment for Friday. Told them they needed to come today and they I would only accept another appointment if they could confirm that they would be here tomorrow at 8am. Still waiting for a call. This company has mo sense of professionalism or good customer service.

Updated and Current Review: I’ve been trying to get a manager to respond to my concerns about my a/c drain not being flushed during the spring service, especially since the drain has water sitting in it and it’s leaking outside. I’m guessing my concerns are not important since I keep being told someone will call me and they have not. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and occasionally have had issues with this company, but have been very patient. I paid for a service and can’t get my concerns addressed with the people I paid, so I guess I’ll have to find someone elsewhere who will address them with them since they’re not responding to me. Ridiculous.

Tempo Mechanical Services technician Hugo came to check our hearing unit after we submitted a ticket through our builder. He tested a few things and quickly identified the problem and had to order a part. He said he would come back and check once the part is installed by his team and set an ETA of 4-5 business days. However, in 2 days I.e., the part was installed by Tomas Noris at 11 AM. After a few mins another appt was scheduled at 4 PM. Hugo came and tested the unit, adjusted the thermostats and ensured everything is working as expected. He asked if I had any questions and got the job done exceeding our expectations.I would highly recommend Tempo Mechanical Services for your HVAC needs. Hugo and Tomas are the best at their work and exceeding customers expectations.

I would give negative stars if I can. Total ripoff. The technician didn’t know how to change the filter and wanted to charge $200 for that. The customer service person is so rude when I called to express my concern. And on top off that they are trying to up-sell some filters and monthly plan and stuff. They did the HVAC system at ournew build and the duct system is terribly done. Rooms are temps are not balanced with over 15 degrees variation in temp. Not responsive to repair requests and eventually after months of contacting the builder, they came out 3 times to rebalance the air and every single time they made things worse. Do yourself a favor and make sure that your builder did not use them and they did, make sure that your HVAC system is i.spected by a reputable company. Would strongly recommend against using them.

Technicians are good, only if you can get hold of it, i live in a new built home, tempo air installed the hvac system, only when weather is bad we have had issues with heating (perfect timing). Called the helpdesk, they are lazy and unprofessional, my first floor heating stopped completely and its 20 degrees (F) outside and inside temp started dropping to 66 and continue to go down and the lady on the phone said well upstairs is working so this is not the emergency and the technician would come 4 days later thats the earliest they can come.I cannot express my frustration, the call center staff is useless, i had similar experience 2-3 months ago. If you have a option do yourself a favour and chose someone else, tempo is the worst especially when you need them

Randy went above and beyond. He didn't just say it is hot and that was why my A/C wasn't cooling as well as it should. He tested the unit in the attic and outside. He found our damper wasn't opening as it should and replaced it. I am literally shivering as I am writing this. GREAT SERVICE!!

He showed me the video, so I could see exactly what the issue was. Great customer service! Then, an hour before my appointment, I received both a phone call and a text that Adan was on the way. Ray dismantled and cleaned all five of my mini split indoor units and installed Aerus Airscrubbers in each one. He is a genius with mini splits.Ray discovered errors that the installers from a different company had made and corrected them. They all purr like a kitten now. He is one of the most honest and trustworthy HVAC techs that I have ever met. The company that installed them two years ago doesn't have experienced techs to service them. It's such a relief to know that Ray and Tempo Air are there if there is ever a problem. I just wish I had purchased the units from Tempo Air but I didn't know about they existed until I found them on the Daikin web site.

Joseph E. was the technician assigned to perform a routine checkup on my unit. I was scheduled for and afternoon however I was advised that the Joseph could see me sooner if I wanted. This really helped me out as I had errands to run later in the day. Joseph did a thorough inspection of my system advised me to change filter. He provided me a quote for ordering filters and also recommended a air scrubber for Covid -19. He asked me if I had any questions and went over my system status. I was also surprised to see that he provided me a complimentary outdoor faucet cover. Joseph really helped me out coming early to inspect unit. I hope on future calls I get him again. I've had the same technican from Temp mechanical for the last few years. Khuong has been working on my Heat/AC unit for many years. He has done a great job is fixing any issues that have occurred. When I ask him to explain something, he takes the time to explain the issue. I appreciate his prompt and courteous work ethic. And I am a repeat customer to Tempo because of Technicians like Khuong.

My experience, began with setting up an appointment to assist with programming my existing thermostat. My call was answered byShantell, who, was so happy to set up an appointment time that worked for my schedule. Thank you for your smile and laugh.My Technician, Mike Haghdoust,Mike was so knowledgeable, kind and smiling behind his mask. He wore coverings for his feet as well. So professional.Decided to change to nest thermostat. After giving me an estimate, Mike went to work. Mike not only installed my thermostat, but also, gave me a quick tutorial on how to use and set up the nest app.I would highly recommend Tempo Air for any of your AC/Heating needs.Thank you very much.I am happy and COOL:)

John was able to identify the problem(s) we were having immediately and fix what he could immediately. If we had to wait on parts he was able to find the parts and fix them as soon as he could. He followed up with us to make sure the problem was fixed and even came back out to tweak our problem is it was done to our liking. I highly recommend them.

Our AC system was installed by TempoAC when the house was built in 2006. We have kept them as a service provider since then. They have done an extraordinary job by proving routine and emergency service. They provide routine service to our system at least twice a year and are responsive when we need immediate help (which is rare). Employees are professional, friendly, and are eager to explain. Since my wife has very sensitive allergies we rely on TempoAC to keep our AC system in top working order.

I highly recommend using Tempo Air for residential HVAC issues. We had a bit of a fiasco with our HVAC this month, but the Tempo team handled it exceptionally well.In Feb. 2021 our HVAC unit was acting funny. A Tempo technician came out and found a needle in the haystack leak in our coil. We were really grateful that he found the issue. We had called out other companies multiple times and no one was ever able to locate the leak, until Tempo came out. The technician contacted the HVAC manufacturer immediately and was able to get the new coil replaced under our warranty that was within days of expiring.The coil was ordered and due to delays with the manufacturer, it didn't arrive until Aug. 2021. We were quickly scheduled for an installation.The install team showed up on time as expected and completed the job in good time. As stated above, the coil was covered under warranty. We paid for the labor for the job and went on our way.Within the days following the coil installation our AC unit slowly stopped cooling our house... which is really rough when its 100 degrees outside in August! We called Tempo back out to look at it and the technician thought it was due to a dirty filter. We disagreed with him, but went ahead and tried a new filter to see. That didn't work. Our house was getting hotter and hotter!We had the technician come back out, and during his visit our compressor blew out. At this point, the technician realized that the issue was the compressor. Since we hadn't ever had compressor issues until after the coil install, its reasonable to assume that somehow during the coil install, something was done incorrectly and the compressor suffered damage.Tempo was out at our house the very next day, ALL DAY, to make sure our air was turned back on. They had a compressor shipped in overnight, and when that didn't solve the issue, they replaced our entire HVAC unit. The technicians didn't leave our house until 8pm. They were tired after a long day, but they were committed to making sure our HVAC was operational.This was likely a frustrating case for their staff, but you wouldn't know it. Every person we spoke with on the Tempo Air team was professional, kind, and compassionate about our issues.It was a bit of a rocky few days, but overall, we are VERY pleased with how this company chose to handle this situation. Mistakes and errors happen, but not many companies take full responsibility for fixing the errors and going above and beyond to make it right.We will absolutely to continue to use Tempo Air to service our HVAC system in the future and recommend them to our friends and family as well.Thank you for the honest work!

I purchased a new construction home back in Feb 2021. This home HVAC system was installed by Tempo Air. Living here for almost 2 years, I've had nonstop issues with the HVAC and duct.1. In my first summer at the residence (July 2021), my AC was not cooling the home. I written up a warranty request and the team came out and fixed the problem. From my understanding, there was a leak in coolant line that was causing the house to not cool properly. Ok, cool.2. Dryer not drying properly. With the new home, I also purchased a brand new washer and dryer. All year, I kept getting errors from dryer that there was a blockage in venting. I asked Tempo team to come out several times and all they did was a spot check of vent and not the venting leading outside. After back-and-forth, I hired a third party vent company. In their one visit, they were able to find that the dryer exhaust was covered by meshing that should have been removed when home was built. I had to get my home builder to remove as it was not covered by Tempo.3. Mold/Mildew smell in AC. Another issue I been having in my unit is a strong mold/mildewy type of smell every time I turn on my AC unit. This smell never happens when using heat. Again, I asked Tempo Air to come out and inspect. They been to my residence over 5+ times in the last year and a half and the most that they done so far is clean my coils which help smell go away for a few days but it would eventually come back. I am scheduling another visit this week which their warranty staff stated there is a $100 fee if the problem is not mechanical. I shouldn't have to pay for a problem that been in the home since I purchased it.I'm posting my frustrations on here as it seems like every time I asked for Tempo to service my home, they have a track record of not fixing the root problems. I guess other customers had better experience than me. But I wouldn't suggest this company for any of my friends or family

A/C went out Late Friday afternoon before Labor Day. Our regular folks said Saturday but not sure when. I found Tempo Air- the ad said 24/7- and they mean it! Vickie answered the phone, took my information and said someone would call shortly. A dispatcher called in 30 minutes and Stephan was here in 30 more. By 7:30 we had cool air and have found a new service company for heating, cooling and plumbing. There was no surcharge for weekend service. Tempo Air is employee owned so everyone has incentive. Needed a new temperature sensor board for a Lennox hvac system about a year ago. Install went fine. A few weeks ago I started receiving the same error message. I called to find out if it was still under warranty. I'm now 4 or 5 calls deep trying to get someone to answer that question. All they want to do is send out a tech for a service fee just to tell me if it's under warranty? You can't simply look up the part replaced and say yes or no? Customer service (Patricia?) says she's ask her supervisor but never calls back. Last time I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. Left Mark Flemming a voicemail only to, unsurprisingly, not receive a call back. Good luck with post sales support from this place.

Tempo is not what it used to be, they used to be better than all other local services (personal experience) even when it came with a premium but it was worth it. Now they are just another expensive option.I've had their membership for years and for the last two years I've included my rental property as well so Tempo is definitely making some decent profit off me. Last year my downstairs AC showed a malfunction message just after the tuneup from a month or so ago (Tempo performed the tuneup and gave me an all clear). They couldn't come on the same day despite the fact that I am a member which includes preferred scheduling. When the technician came he first charged me $90 service fee (again, despite of me being a member and this happened after their tuneup) then he charged me $400 to fill the refrigerant. After the refrigerant was filled he ran more test then determined my indoor unit needs to be replaced. At this point I didn't understand what was the point for the refrigerant fill and he just gave me the that's how we do it answer. Again keep in mind, this happened all AFTER they gave me the all clear from the tuneup about a month ago. I went with their recommendation and had my indoor unit replaced.Fast forward to this year, my AC again showed a malfunction message (which turned out to be a very minor thing), called Tempo and again couldn't fit me into a same day service call. At that point I told them don't bother, called someone else and he showed up within 45 mins. Guess who I am going with starting next year?

I called Tempo Air to solve a problem with no AC working regarding an upstairs unit. The technician I dealt with, Alex, was very knowlegable. I am very handy, so we were able to communicate on a mechanical level. He explained possible solutions, checking the capaciter, compressor, looking for refrigerant leaks, and eventually discoverd a blockage in the dryer coil. With every diagnostic procedure that he performed, he told me ahead of time what he was looking for, and how he would determine what was wrong. He explained the situation as to how the dryer coils can get restricted. It was very enjoyable to spend time with such a well trained and articulate young man. We will have Tempo Air replace our dryer coil.

Technician was very knowledgeable and professional. It was the end of a long day for him and for me, so staying diligent can be hard at times. That was not the case. My A/C problem was addressed timely and answered all of my questions and gave us options for the future that would benefit my wife and I, the consumer, which was refreshing. The four star rating might be out of their control, but I was given a window from 3-6, and didn't show till just after 6. I will still continue to do business with them, but probably as a subscribed service where I can become a prioritized scheduled appointment. I recommend Tempo!

We called 18 hours ago for emergency in order to get our AC unit checked out since our AC unit was not running. Yesterday the dispatcher told us a technician will come to check the unit but no call, no show. Today we called back again and left a message to call us back but it has been more than two hours without a call back but the company phone system says someone will call in 15 minutes. Disappointing.

This was literally the worst customer service experience of my life. My AC stopped working especially when it was 100+ degrees outside here in Dallas, and these guys were called in by my Warranty company. They had to be called in twice because of such a poor job their technicians do for AC repair. First time, they didn’t check anything and just said the coils were dirty. They washed them and refused to do any other testing. The AC still wasn’t working in high 96+ weather. Our three story townhome had a temperature of 90 degrees on the third floor. They had to be called in again for a second time, at which point they finally realized that there was a bad sensor and an issue with the heat sink. However, they did not provide any kind of time frame or what exact repairs were needed. They just told me that some parts needed to be ordered and they ll get in touch with me when the parts come in. For almost 2 weeks they do not call me or give me any updates. I called them at least twice per day to get an update on when the parts were going to come in or even if they had been ordered. No one could give me any answers or ETA. Whole time, it’s is 105 degrees outside and they had no sense of urgency. They kept telling me that some will call and that they try to get updates, but nothing ever happened. They single handed lay delayed my repair by over 3 weeks in a heat wave of 105. Their poor customer service and lack of care for their customers is downright dangerous. I would never use this company for any AC repairs or maintenance because they have NO IDEA what they are doing. We finally called Tri County Air who promptly came, diagnosed the issue and fixed the AC with the right part all within 1 week. They are very thorough and responsive. In fact, Tri county gave me more Information about my AC system and how to do maintenance on it my self while tempo Air tried to sell me a maintenance package of 600 dollars for all the parts my AC system doesn’t even have. I had to buy 2 mini window units that cost me 800 dollars because of Tempo Air. AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM TEMPO AIR. THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I’ve gone without air multiple days with the weather being 100+ degrees outside. They said they would send somebody and still nothing. This is the worst company to use especially if you’re renting. Would not recommend to anyone in Texas especially not when we have excessive heat warnings. I’ve had my air on 70 for the last few days and I’ve been at home SWEATING and sick. This is disgusting customer support and work.EDIT: their reply to my review was as useful as the technician i had come in yesterday. 3 days no air and told now to wait until Monday. Technician never explained why and his attitude was HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Mike Maestas completed my Fall annual service maintenance on my new Lennox Gas Furnace today, 10-28-14. I requested him personally after he did my initial spring visit on my A/C. He explains everything in laymen terms what he will be doing before proceeding. He explains as well as shows what he is doing to make the customer feel comforted that their system is in good hands with a Tempo Tech. Mike knows his stuff, has a positive attitude and makes sure I am satisfied after each visit. I have had 2 services with Tempo (once during winter, and now for summer).In the winter, my heater wasn’t working. Ray from Tempo Air got me up and running right away.For my summer maintenance Ray took great care in checking and cleaning my AC system. Unfortunately there was a problem he identified, but I’m glad he found it. My AC system is cleaned,,,,and the problem found will be ordered and repaired very soon. Having signed up for their yearly system check It became impossible to get them to come to my address where they had previously serviced my two units. They told me that the address they had in the system was not where they showed. I explained that was one of my rental units that I had previously had them service. After explaining multiple times that they were incorrect I gave up. This has to be in my experience the most laughable and poorest customer service possible. Their record keeping was faulty and the argumentative manner was contrary to any I have ever encountered.

Randy N. was very professional, courteous and thorough.It is now five years later and we still use Tempo Air for HVAC service. During this time period they extended the warranty on both units for an additional two years. Within the last few months of the warranty expiration we experienced costly repairs, which Tempo fully covered.Early 2020 Tempo was marketing air scrubber systems and I postponed making the plunge, mainly due to cost. However, when COVID 19 invaded I went back, revisited and made a decision to purchase two units (they are not cheap). So glad we did as the dust in our home has basically disappeared and the rooms always spell super clean.I will also add that our current technician is Stephen, and he is great.

I have used Tempo many times in the past and what keeps me coming back is their professionalism. This most recent time I ended up solving an issue by myself after waiting on a part that was unavailable in the US for many months. After what must have been an annoying several months of me constantly checking in, I let them know that I didn’t need the part after all. They responded by apologizing to me for something COMPLETELY out of their control, and given recent experiences with many companies, I was blown away and thrilled. This Business has wonderful customer service. They came out the same day that I had called in. I already knew that I needed a complete new system. Unlike, the previous company that came out St***, they were not pushy at all. And they gave me a cash deal that was several thousand dollars cheaper than the other company and they offered more benefits as well. Tempo‘s Rep, Vince knew I was disabled. He came out the day before installation and put in a temporary unit in my window and helped me to get things out of the attic in order for the crew to work around. Now that’s customer service.

My AC went out on a Sunday evening. I called the emergency number and a technician was scheduled to come out the next day. The technician was knowledgeable and explained everything to me. The whole experience was a positive one. I highly recommend Tempo.

Kim came for twice a year annual maintenance on the HVAC machines. He noticed that the water was leaking through secondary condensation drain pipe and not the primary (as it is supposed to). He immediately resolved the issue. Kim is terrific and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kim and Tempo Air.

We have been a member of the Tempo Club for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. It is well worth the quarterly charge for the preventative services performed. The home services technicians are first class and reliable ... never any surprises. Tempo also does a great job at installations as they have also done 2 x HVAC change outs as well as a water Heater replacement over the 30 years we have been in our home. Alos, being a member of the Home Club seems to get you prompt emergency service when needed.

Edgar solved our AC issue. After a service call with a different technician found nothing wrong, we persisted and finally had the issue figured out. It was the thermostat. Tempo has serviced our A/C and heating for over 10 years as well as additional vent and return air installation. We continue to use them because of their highly skilled technicians and their honest and friendly service.Our most recent installation occurred 4/2/2018. Jose C. has been servicing our units for years and helped us determine that we needed to replace our upstairs unitl Comfort Advisor, Vince Bullock, visited our home and took us through several options for replacement. My wife and I especially appreciated Tempo's application of our annual service contract to the purchase of new equipment.Chris Quintanilla and his team Jaime Gamero, Jorge Domingues and Juan Domingues arrived on time and completed the job in the fashion that we become accustom to with Tempo. I was pleased with the quality of their work. They left the attic space much cleaner than they had found it.After installation Chris review all of the work with me and answered my questions. You could tell he and his crew took pride in their work. I recommend Tempo to anyone needing A/C services.

AVOID! I used to love them, but then that feeling took a major turn in the opposite direction. We used Tempo for over 4 years (since we moved into our home) and relied on them many times when we needed plumbing or AC work. A few months ago we had them replace our kitchen faucet in our home. The faucet has a manufaturrers warranty and Tempo also offers a workmanship warranty for at least 12 months. Recently, the faucet has gotten quite loose, and as it is one of those with a motion sensor, I thought it best for them to fix it and get it back to working order. When I called, they noted it was under warranty, and they could send a tech. Great! The phone rep then told me I would need to pay a $119 truck roll charge for them to send the plumber. I asked why I would have to if it was under warranty and was told that if I paid HUNDREDS of dollars a year for an annual service contract, they would waive the fee. I pressed them again on why I should have to pay for something that is covered under THEIR WARRANTY, and they continued to insist that my only options for repair we're to pay the truck roll fee or join their club for $$$. INSANE! I can't believe this level of extortion. While their service may be good, if it isn't, or if you need follow up - make sure you know that they plan on charging you to fix THEIR mistakes. Even as I type this I can't believe this is happening. Such horrible service. I guess I have to find a new plumbing service now. Fun for me. Ugh.UPDATE 05/13/2022: A manager called me to say that it was an error to charge me a truck roll fee to fix the warranty. He offered to send someone out this Thursday to fix it. If the repair is done with no charge (as promised by the warranty), I will update my review.

Had them do the install in my new home in 2014. Every single year I have had issues with it completely quit working. Again this year same thing. No coolant, leaking coil, and parts are covered but not labor. I will be completely screwed at the ten year mark and forced to install new units.

On April 20, in rush hour traffic, Tempo Air can 294 was driving like a maniac and literally ran me onto the shoulder and nearly into a dividing wall and causing me to pick up a nail in my tire from the shoulder. The male driver was weaving in and out of traffic, flooring his engine so loud I could hear it through a close window and over my radio, cutting into spaces half the size of his van, and making the roads unsafe. I was able to get the van info and called Tempo Air. A nice lady took my info, expressed sympathy and said she would pass it on to the fleet manager, who would contact me. As of writing this, I’ve yet to hear a peep. If Tempo Air is employing w reckless individuals like this, and not placing a premium on both their safe driving *in a company van*, and both the liability and bad image this presents, I would not trust them with even basic service. I certainly won’t ever be calling them, and I’d advise you against it as well.PS Kudos to a well-known Texas tire store that fixed the flat and DOES understand the value of their image.

I have nothing but stellar things to say about Tempo Air. From start to finish, they were professional, patient, and transparent about every detail of my HVAC project. At the start, there was no airflow at all on one floor of my home, and the team came back multiple times until they found the correct solution to the problem. The job also involved cutting into sheet rock to access the duct work, and they even handled repairing the involved walls. They are a prime DFW example of a do the right thing company, and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a professional, thorough, and above board operation.

My A/C was suddenly not working this Saturday and the high temp here in the Dallas area was supposed to get to 100. Called Tempo and they promised to have a tech out to my home as soon as one freed up. Dispatcher called an hour later and said a tech was on the way. Paul, the tech arrived 30 min later and got right to the problem and he had it fixed in less than an hour. He was very professional and friendly and most important very competent. Price was very reasonable. I am very pleased with their prompt service on a weekend.

My outside unit was failing and the Tempo team came out to replace both the outside and inside units. They replaced the outside equipment and portion of the inside equipment and the thermostat on the wall. They did a good job and were very courteous and cleaned up the job site.

Tempo is okay, Mark makes it great. One feature that would improve this service is a cancellation list. When calling to cancel a spring/fall maintenance appointment and move it (because it's required to pick a date so far in advance and life happens and things come up that are more important), it's ridiculous to have to wait 1.5 months for the next appointment. There should be a cancellation list where spots are open from other people who have had to reschedule. Just a thought.

Stefan is very professional and has been our go to person with Tempo. His honesty and integrity keep us with Tempo. If there is a problem he fins a resolution and if he can’t he goes and finds the answers and gets back to us. We had used a different contractor to install a unico system in our house. He has had to work with us while we have had constant problems with that unit. Tempo has stepped up all the way in helping fix problems that they did not install. Highly recommend Tempo there customer service is outstanding.

We just finished our second HVAC retrofit project for apartment complex through Oncor program with Tempo in DFW area.Like the first time, second time project was handled professionally, work done quickly, any unexpected issues handled well. They installed a tankless water heater to replace an old tank. They were experienced enough to handle all the quirks of our old house, and completed the job in the 2 days promised, and it has performed as expected for a month now, and should continue many years. They will also service it annually.

Aime (Scheduler) was very courteous and professional. She did a great job scheduling my appointment, confirming the details, and setting my expectations.Jynese (Dispatch) was very courteous and professional as well, great job.Mike M (Service Tech) knew what he was doing and quickly diagnosed my system and had it back up and running within 15 minutes from time of arrival. He was very professional, friendly and respectful as he took off his shoes before entering and made sure the system was running properly before he left.Overall is was a very good experience and on a busy summer day, Tempo was able to respond quickly and had me back up and running again within hours of my initial call.My only negative feedback is the overall price, in my opinion it's definitely high. $93 trip charge and $186 for the capacitor and labor to install. The ballpark price of a capacitor (Google search) is $20 - $40 and it took less than 5 minutes for the technician to replace. I realize there are other expenses, such as troubleshooting, warranty, profit, overhead costs etc... that go into the price, but $186 for a $30 part that took 5 minutes to install seems high. I was pleased that I received a 10% military discount on my total bill - thank you!

We own business and had Tempo air coming out to check our HVAC system since we were not getting enough cooling. The technician came and said there is not enough refrigerant and they will have to add it. We said okay and they charged $650 in total. We are still not getting cooling effect so we called again and though they should come back out as courtesy and see why we are still not getting enough cooling. We have been trying to reach out to them but they said they will just charge to come out again. Do not recommend them! After changing $650 if it’s still not working atleast we deserve a no change visit to see why it’s not working.

Vince arrived right on time and I recognized him at once ; I had requested a consultation to discuss replacing my heating/cooling system at least 2 years before. After going over all the details with him back then I gambled, deciding to wait.In the interim, I was told by each tech who did my inspection that the unit was fine but aging ; I never felt any pressure from anyone to buy a new system.Right before the cold snap, December 2016, the furnace died ; Vince came out and I decided on a system that meets my needs. Due to my being a long-term Tempo customer , with their rewards , this system cost me nearly $1000 LESS than what I paid for my old system, from Tempo, 20 years ago.In the 20+ years of being a Tempo customer , even before the name was changed from TD Industries, I have never had a bad experience. We have had Tempo as our HVAC service provider since we bought our new home in 2005. Khuong Do has been our Service Pro during that time. He is the most professional and competent service tech we have ever had, and we cannot compliment him highly enough. Mike from Tempo Air just finished his service call. Our unit wasn't cooling properly. Mike gave us several options as to how to proceed, and explained the pro's and cons of each. While we elected to pay to replace the unit, Mike's professionalism and friendliness, cushioned the blow. I recommend Tempo Air highly.
