Lame. A week to make a service call, NOT SAME DAY as advertised. Repairman came on two non-consecutive days and was unable to give me a diagnosis, an estimate, a time frame, but he did tell me that was his last day with the company and left. After two weeks and no movement forward, no time i could expect them to return.. The repairman said they were waiving the fee to show up, and no bill was ever presented, so they were discharged like bad body waste. I don't have all day to sit around hoping they'll show up and do their job. It seems based upon the high number of bad reviews lately this company is in self-destruct mode. Avoid like a disease, both AC and Pumbing services.

They do good work. Response times can be spotty, but they usually follow through.

First to answer online query over the weekend. Able to communicate exactly the part needed to be replaced, so that they were able to come out first thing Monday morning. Charged me less than originally quoted.

I was remodeling my shower, and at the last minute, I needed a new plumber to replace the shower valves. I found Kama Hele Plumbing on Google Maps, and it had high reviews. Harry responded quickly and was so easy to work with. He even made the time to FaceTime, so he could walk me through a few questions I had. I have lived in Honolulu for ten years now and have experience with many different construction projects. I have worked with multiple contractors, but Handy Andy Hawaii has been one of the best, if not the best, that I've worked with. They were enjoyable to work with and regularly kept me in the loop with everything that was going on. Handy Andy Hawaii did a great job, and their quality work is exceptional.

I had a leak where I had to turn off the water to the whole house on a Friday morning. I called 3 plumbers the 1st one I talked too said the earliest they could come out until Monday. Rayco was the 2nd and they returned my call shortly. I talked to the Owner Gary who said all his workers were on big projects and normally did smaller calls in the afternoon. However since I told him the problem he said he could come out and do it on the way to the project. He was at my place in 45 minutes and repaired the leak. Gary was experienced fast, courteous and highly professional, he also gave me tips on other problems I might encounter. I highly recommend RayCo Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. You will be pleased with their work along with warm and friendly service.

After I noticed that several of my multi turn water shutoff valves were not working properly, I decided to call Roto-Rooter to change them with 1/4 turn ball valves. I had them do some plumbing work before and remembered that they did good work. The plumber, Eddie Cordes, arrived at the scheduled time. I explained what the work that I wanted and he prepared the cost proposal, which I felt was fair. He also gave me the material cost and said that if I can get it cheaper that I could purchase them and save some money; so I did. Home Depot’s prices were lower than the suppliers that they used. I showed Eddie the valve that Home Depot sold to insure that it was a quality valve. Having worked in construction for over 30 years, I watched Eddie work and was very impressed with his work ethics and having pride in his work. He was very thorough and didn’t take any short cuts. He cleaned up after himself and didn’t leave a mess, very neat. Very glad they sent Eddie to my house.

After several ridiculously high estimates, I decided to keep calling around...I came across Allen's Plumbing and after asking what my exact needs were, I was able to schedule an appt for the very next day...Jonah was AMAZING!!!!!! Very respectful, informative, professional and HELPFUL...He explained the process and the parts that were necessary for the job. He also quoted me less than half of ALL of the previous estimates.. The estimate was free! ( 2 companies charged me a dispatch fee just for coming which was ridiculously expensive for them just to tell me that it would be $3k to complete my repair/installation.) I immediately agreed to receive the service, and even though he didn't have the exact part with him, he returned a short time later and completed the job in half the time! ( a 3 hour job done in less than 90 minutes) I was so blown away at the level of expertise and his service. Jonah walked me through the installation process, even showing me the parts that were replaced. He asked me to test everything out before he left and thanked me for using Allen's Plumbing.

The next day, I had some issues with temperature and called Allen's Plumbing for a follow up, Jonah was literally back within the hour and explained what happened and it was a quick fix (less than a few minutes)

I would HIGHLY recommend! Amazing value and service. He wasn't trying to upsell, or pressure me into services that I didn't need, nor did he charge me a ridiculously expensive dispatch fee and ohana plan lol. I went through 8 different estimates before Allen's and I'm glad I did. The best hands down! Allen's will definitely take care of all of my future Plumbing needs. Mahalo Jonah and Allen's Plumbing. Diamond Head Plumbing: always on time, always fair and good at their word (and good work too)

I went with them because because they work with Home Depot and I have a rental property in Hawaii and needed a water heater replaced. From the beginning I stated numerous times I was going to put the work on my Home Depot credit card. They are horrible at gettin back with you. They never explained the process to me. I’m thinking since they are with Home Depot they are a good company. First they requested pictures so I sent them, never heard from them. Then, I emailed them about to see if they got the job started and I was told they were still waiting on the pictures I had sent 2 weeks ago. I resend the pictures and then she tells me that she found the 2 week old email but they need better pictures. I get them the better pictures and wait. Nothing from them! I email to see what the status is and I get told they are waiting on me to buy the water heater, which I was never told to do. I was thinking they are with HD so they will pick up the heater, do the job and send me a bill so I can pay with my HD card but no. I then buy the heater and tell them. Job was done correctly. Then I wait for the bill. No bill. I email them about the bill and I am told that they sent the bill to my property manager!!! I spoke to Alyssa in numerous times and I explained to her many times I was gonna pay with my HD card cause this was exactly what I didn’t want to happen. Alyssa then tell me that the property manager check it’s in their possession but they have not process it and that they won’t. So I give them my HD card so they can charge that. Everything seems fine but no!!! I email 4 days after to inquire to see if the charge went thru to the HD card and Alyssa tells me that it is still processing and when it does she will send me a receipt. Never happens. A week later I email her and she tell me the original check from the property manager was processed!!!! And they didn’t charge my HD card!!! I get no interest in my HD card. That’s why I wanted to do that instead of taking 900 dollars from my savings. Nobody can explain to me how all this happens. I have all the emails and all the communication with them and now I’m just being told that there is nothing they can do. I would avoid this company at all cost. The work was done correctly but the way they communicate it’s horrible and they do not have your best interest at heart. I’m also complaining to HD!! They bare some responsibility also and the property manager as well but after the job was done kamaaina demanded payment from the property manager so of course they paid but kamaaina knew I wanted this not to be charged to the property manager.
