We were extremely pleased with the service from Josh of Allen’s plumbing. He fixed a recurring problem with our toilet for a very reasonable price. We had another plumber , Dan, fix it twice ( with a three week wait in between fixes ) and it didn’t hold.It was hard to get hold of Dan as he wasn’t returning calls. Josh came right after I called and fixed it. It did break again after a couple of days and the company scheduled him to come back that week. That time Josh figured out the unusual problem and it’s well working well ever since. It’s a nice company to deal with. They call if you service man is running a little late and the office keeps on top of things. I’ll always use them in the future.

About a year ago, I had my old heater replaced by my usual plumber.

Thirteen months later, my renter would call with complaints that she had no hot water….that in the weeks prior, there was sputtering scalding hot water coming out of the faucets. And a host of other yikes related issues.

Old plumber was MIA. Like total telephone number change and all! ANNNND any warranty left on the heater was useless because he had purchased the unit and registered it under his name.

Looked up Allens Plumbing, the guys our office had been using for years. They actually answered at almost 6p…and I was seriously impressed. Kane, the operations manager was so helpful. Super friendly, too. He left notes for the dispatcher to call me in the morning to schedule the repair. (My usual plumber didn’t usually answer his phone and he wouldn’t call back for hours! And his scheduling girl was no better…and we’re talking regular work hours!) Andrea contacted me and quickly set me up with a day and time.

So that you’re not left wondering what the heck is going on the day of, Allens Plumbing has a great little system where they call you to let you know that the technician is on his way. When the tech Jonah got to my rental, he called me within minutes with bad news—the heater element burned and there was a hole in the tank from which water was leaking.

Had to make a quick decision to purchase a new unit…since hashing this out with the manufacturer over warranty that I had no idea if I would get to use…or trying to find the MIA plumber..were both daunting options that just may end up a waste of my time. Jonah was so kind and empathetic…he checked his availability for that afternoon AND GOT RIGHT ON IT!

Within three hours, the diagnostics, the hauling away, the purchase of a new heater, the install, and the test was all pau! Jonah patiently explained to me every step of the way, everything that was going on. He quickly sent me my receipt after explaining Allens Plumbing’s EXCELLENT AFTER SERVICE, where if something goes wrong with the whole set-up, they’d help me work the warranty part as well.

…and (*DRUM ROLL*)…their charges were $200 cheaper than the old plumber’s! Can you freaking believe this?

Called Allens plumbing for a last minute hot water leak, they responded in a very timely manner. Jr showed up at our house and checked out the leak that was actually outside in our yard and informed me of that the leak was under ground. We waited for his supervisor Darren to show up and then they started to detect the leak. They said that they would have to come back tomorrow with some sophisticated equipment to find the leak i said okay. They showed up early the next day and found the leak and repaired it immediately. They performed the job in a very professional manner and cleaned up their mess. Highly recommend them for any job. Mahalo Guy’s 🤙

Called on a Sunday and was surprised to have someone actually answer the phone. Didn't think it would be possible to get help that day, but they sent someone within a couple hours. Very professional and courteous!

Wednesday the leaking shower fixture was at the point I decided it had to be repaired and so I called Allen’s Plumbing because of the good ratings on Yelp and explained what needed to be worked on and they said they would get someone out that day. The employee, Chris showed up late, around 3:30 in the afternoon, which considering he was coming from another job I felt it was acceptable. I showed Chris the work and after a few minutes he said he could not guarantee that he could finish the work that day. We agreed Chris would come back on Friday at 8 in the morning (I called Allen’s plumbing and asked for Chris). I was charged a fee since no work was performed which upset me because it was not explained to me beforehand and Allen’s knew the scope of the work yet still came late in the day. I paid the fee and Chris left.
Friday came and Chris showed up a little late, but he got the shower fixed, a sink fixture replacement completed and then fixed an outside faucet that leaked when you were turning on or off but not when in use or turned off.
I explained some additional work I wanted performed and contacted Allen’s Plumbing directly and asked for an estimate, still waiting for the estimate.

Called for a residential plumbing problem and the service was great. On time and professional. Called for an irrigation problem ( backflow preventer) and they rescheduled once and then did not call or show up at all. So for traditional plumbing needs I recommend, anything else..not so much.

Arrived on time and within 24 hours of call. Plumber did a fine job and helped us with our plumbing problem. Will defineatly use again.

Super company for plumbing needs~ We had a very old faucet that was virtually frozen in place and Allens Plumbing came right away and removed it and replaced it with a new faucet. They were very quick to accommodate us and did an excellent job. We are extremely happy and will be using this company again soon.

Allen's plumbing has been wonderful, I've had them come twice for emergencies and they have thankfully been able to come out same-day and fixed the issues, which is somewhat rare in Maui. The pricing was fair and they are always professional.

Corrected all issues regarding my gas stove/tanks, installed a sink aerator and capped off a icemaker line on my refrig in order to close an old open permit with the county. Jeramiah was the technician who serviced me and he was excellent! Knowledgeable, efficient, considerate and most pleasant demeanor. I recall him from a previous service call years ago and remembered he stood out back then and apparently still does. Good job!

Justin Alcos did a good job. He was friendly and courteous. I will call on Allen's Plumbing next time I need plumbing work done. The second job I had was to replace the toilet flush valve and the wall shutoff valve. The technician did excellent work but the cost was just too high. I asked for explanation from the office but I did not get a reply. I will not use Allens anymore.

JP did an awesome job in and out!!! Clogged shower drain he made quick work of it and he didnt mind walking through our renovation mess. He was friendly, professional offered his knowledge on bathroom issues that may be cause for concern in the future and some advice to what we can do next since we are renovating. The company got us scheduled for the next day. Price was fair for work done. I recommend JP and the company!

This review is a long time coming. We had to call Allen’s three times during quarantine due to being in an old building with bad pipes. The level of professionalism was outstanding and the gentlemen that came to take care of us (Jonah and JP, I believe) were knowledgeable, personable and always on time. They explained to us what they were doing and the quote we got initially was accurate all three times. They will be the only plumbing company I will be calling from here on out. Thanks for the great service Allen’s!!!

The technician was able to get it issue resolved on short notice. It cost $544 to replace this cold water valve under our sink. There wasn't a clear way to isolate the water supply despite turning it off, line was still energized. We leaned on their abilities to resolve issue and provide a 1 yr warranty for the work. Would recommend!! Andrea the dispatcher was kind and considerate and Daniel was professional through and through!

Mid-morning on a Saturday we noticed that our connection to the county water line was leaking rapidly and we called Allens and spoke to their call dispatch line who took our details and let us know someone would be in touch shortly. I assumed that being a weekend it would be an hour or two, but sure enough in less than 15 minutes Allens was calling me back to schedule an appointment.

Come appointment time they quickly identified the details of the problem and explained it to me and let me know what would be involved. We planned the next steps and I was left confident in the decision we made.

The day before the follow-up appointment (Allens needed to coordinate the shutoff with the county for the fix) I had not heard from anyone so I called in to confirm the appointment. There had unfortunately been a mix-up and the follow-up had not been properly scheduled. Allens let me know that they would get in touch with the necessary people and get back to me ASAP. Thirty minutes later I got a call back and they let me know that everything will be fine and our appointment would remain as scheduled.

Sure enough, the next day Brandon (who handled the original call) showed up as expected, did a bit of prep before the county came, and the job was done before I had even noticed it had started. Before he left Brendan recapped the job for me, explained the details of the warranty on the work, and answered the questions I had.

Everything said and done, I couldn't have asked for anything to have gone smoother. While I hope to not have to do it much more in the future, if I have any plumbing work done I am absolutely going to call Allens Plumbing.

I do not remember his name, but the plumbing person was very nice and professional. He explained what he was doing and answered my questions. Just got service from Allen’s Plumbing again.

Master bedroom bathroom sink started to drain slowly on 12/5, used drano hoping to alleviate the issue. On 12/6 drain was plugged, tried in vain to use a plunger to unplug.

Nite of 12/6 Building Manager attempted to contact plumbers to no avail. Asked Manager if he called Allen’s as he originally recommended Allen’s to me, requested Bennett Peters who originally serviced my condo 6/2017. Building Manager replied no but then called Allen’s and we got an 8 am appointment for 12/7 and Bennett Peters would handle the call again!

Bennett showed up on time, completed my service, answered any questions I had. Only thing is he left my condo to pick up required equipment necessary to complete job from another service tech. Only time wasted involved as total charge was reasonable to me.

Showed me how eroded the rod was he replaced, checked the condition of my panels on the roof, made sure ok to drain where he did, would of worn booties in the house but I said no need. I have used Allen’s Plumbing a few times and I have always been pleased with the professionalism and the quality of their work. This latest service call was no exception. The technician, JeanPaul was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and personable.
He quickly cleared the drain and repaired and reassembled the under sink plumbing.
The clean up was thorough as well. Great plumber and the dispatchers and call handlers were courteous and efficient too.

I called Allen’s Plumbing for my rental unit because of the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The tenant told me that the sink was leaking underneath, and I’m in Utah so I can only go by what I’m told. The experience started with the call, with a super friendly girl who took all my info and my tenants info and set up the appointment. She was awesome! I wish I wrote down names, but the appointment was set for the next day, even though they had someone available right away. When the appointment happened, I got a call from the plumber who let me know the problem and the fix and also some recommendations for preventative maintenance. He asked me if what I wanted to do and I let him know I had to do just what was necessary because Christmas money is tight. He was really nice and professional. He quoted me at $294+tax which I felt was a reasonable price for the work. About an hour later I got the invoice and receipt by email and they discounted the service, giving me a final bill of $260! Thank you, Allen’s Plumbing. I appreciate you for that and Merry Christmas!

Every person I talked to was friendly, honest attentive. I called late on a Friday afternoon with a clogged drain in my kitchen and bathroom sinks. The pricing was fair upfront, saying they couldn’t come out until Sunday morning early. It was an inconvenience but it wasn’t an emergency so I appreciate the honesty upfront and I was willing to wait and glad I did. Technician JP was great. Reasonably priced and right on time. A+

I have used Allans Drains Plumbing for the passed 10 years. They have always responded immediately ready to address and solve any situation that was happening at the time. They are very professional and equipped to solve any plumbing issue you may have at that moment. Just recently I had a water leak in my home that needed to be investigated because it was In the wall. Brandon arrived and did an extensive search calmly illuminating each possible cause and found the water heater to be the problem.needless to say work started and a in no time my 20 year old water heater system with solar panels were replaced and operating perfectly. This repair was no easy fix by any means. The existing water tank needed to be cut in pieces to be removed. I could go on and on but the people that works for Allan’s plumbing are great. This was my second call to Allen's Plumbing. The first was to unclog the shower and bathroom sink upstairs. The second was to unclog the bathroom sink downstairs. Both visits from the plumbers were friendly, professional and quick. All my questions were answered. I will highly recommend Allen's Plumbing!

The plumber that came (aka JR) new his trade and conducted the work very well and did the work in a timely manner. The only thing that I wish he had with him was an inspection camera and/or the inspection tool that detects moisture to assist with locating leaks, instead of cutting holes in the walls. Technicians were punctual, kind, and courteous. They were very responsive to the Covid preventions protocols of our family. They listened attentively to our plumbing needs and were ready to discuss the various options available. Both jobs and associated costs were clearly identified upfront. Services rendered was superb and expedient. Upon completion, onsite payment was quick and easy.

Chris arrived and made his thorough assessment of the current water heater installed by another company for my 76-year Family Member and he was surprised to find out that it was a little over 1-years old. The water heater was not the correct model for a household, it was not working for awhile, the bottom of the heater was already rusted, and the plumbing hook-up was a mess. Chris shook his head and was sincerely disappointed that a company would do that type of work, but he recommended a couple of great options and I chose to replace the water heater. He left and was back in about 40-minutes with a new heater, installed it methodically (as I watched and conversed with him). Chris double-checked components, lines, padded parts, and ensured water was heated. He was an exceptional Professional who performed his work with technical awe and Aloha. Classic bait and switch company. After calling around checking prices to unclog a kitchen sink, Allen’s had the lowest starting rate. When the tech got into my home opened the cabinet doors tapped on the pipe and gives me a new price almost 3 times the amount quoted.
I felt very taken advantage of, the company clearly knew they could advertise a low starting at rate to hook the customer in and switch the price right away when walking into your home. After calling to voice my concern to the associate (Ace was the name I believe) that quoted me the initial cost I was hung up on! Very bad business model and will not recommend.

JP came from Kailua today. He was familiar with the situation. He unblocked the drain and got the garbage disposal working again. He provided education on the type of pipe joint beneath the sink. He honored the mailer for a discount. I thought the disposal had finally broken, but that was not the case.

Allens' plumbers were able to do work quickly and efficiently that its competitor says will require us to tear down the walls to complete. They were also able to attach hand held devices for each toilet--that its competitor says can't be done because there were not enough parts to install. Allens plumbers came on time and completed the work as projected. I had a sticker-shock--but was worth it.

Amazing service!! Competitor told us we had a broken sewage line, but in no time they found a clog and issue was resolved. They also showed us the video of the pipes and there were no cracks or breaks!! Very grateful!!

Plumber was not knowledgeable about water pipes that comes down through the wall via the attic. Made a mess that he did not clean up, Stated would need to come back multiple times to diagnose the leak. Called at 9am but plumber arrived after 6pm for emergency call. Another company quickly found the source of the leak. Do not recommend.

The plumber, Jonah, just ran the water and it flowed through the wall into the tile. I spotted the water and called our building maintenance. They came to check and we decided that the building staff would locate and fix the water pipes since it was their responsibility. Jonah packed up and left. I was still charged for the hour he was there. I am grateful that he came, but feel sorry that I did not call our building maintenance first to diagnose the problem. Could have saved myself $100.

Worst company ever. Called them at 8:45am to schedule an appointment. At 10am, I get a call back saying someone will be there after 12pm. None calls or shows up. At 345pm I call them back to see when they will be coming. Now they have the nerve to say they can send someone on an emergency call and charge more- what a bunch of scam artists. Take your business elsewhere so they wont waste your whole day. If i could give less then 1 star i would have.

I looked into Allens Plumbing after seeing a commercial on Channel 4 Island News. My concerns about the type of hot water system I wanted were addressed by phone and I was quickly provided with a price quote including numerous options. Installation was scheduled for the very next day, and the installer worked professionally and expertly at my residence. Followup was great. Very pleased with Allens Plumbing.

The phone was answered promptly. The lady that took the call was polite. The guy that installed my toilet was professional fast straight forward and did clean work. The price was on par with other providers (they all charge too much). But based on the clean courteous prompt and friendly service I'm sure I'll use them again.

Plumbing for repair to rusted pipe under master bath sink cost $292.15 for new pipe and fasteners. I had originally intended to have two other plumbing jobs done but after the shock of $292.15, I decided the other two repairs could be sent to other plumbing companies!!!!!!!

I had an angle valve on hot water supply line changed on my kitchen faucet. JP was pleasant and efficient and it took him less than 10 minutes to change it. It took longer to write up the bill than to change the valve. I was shocked when l was charged $280.76. If that's what Allens Plumbing is charging for a simple job imagine if l had an emergency.

We were very pleased Keoki was able to come the same day we called, to replace our hot water tank. From start to finish, our experience with Allen's Plumbing was excellent - receptionist was professional and communicative and Keoki did a great job. Mahalo!

We purchased a home in Waipio and had to call Allen's Plumbing four times in a 3 month span. Even on Sundays and evenings, I was always able to talk to someone and get something scheduled. Initially, we thought it was just a clogged drain but upon running a camera, we learned that it was a much larger issue. I scheduled the work and the guys showed up, dug up my ground, and fixed my cracked pipe and installed a new one with the correct slope. Of the three technicians that I worked with, they were all very professional and went out of their way to make sure they cleaned up after they were done and explained in great detail the issue I was having. I am happy to have worked with them and they will always be the first plumbers that I call when we have future issues.

My call after 4pm one day was answered quickly and an appt was scheduled for the next day. The tech, Justin A, was great - so professional and explained everything he was doing. The leak was fixed quickly - we are very happy and will definitely be using Allen’s again!!

Called Allen’s to install back flow converter outdoors. Young guy who came out kept talking and talking about job. So clear he didn’t know what he was talking about. Said he’d give me an estimate in a day or two. Never heard from him again. Called, left messages, nothing. Took weeks to hear they weren’t going to do do the job. Work sat undone when I could have called another plumber. Won’t be using them anymore.

I have called Allen's Plumbing several times. Their response is always immediate, professional, and work is excellent.
I will continue to use Allen's Plumbing for all my plumbing needs and highly recommend the company.

The tech Justin was so awesome and informative on what he was going to do. The phone staff was sooooo awesome as well and kept in touch with me on scheduling and when I had to call them, they remembered me, which is not what you expect because of the number of calls they get a day . I highly recommend Allens Plumbing as a go to plumber.

I've used them prior however this time the guy wasn't even a licensed plumber. He used his drill to rid the tree roots that clogged the pipe, he asked if he should use a camera but it would be $100 more. I don't know! I'm not the professional so I asked, “Do you think you hit a root? could you feel you drilled it?” He said yes. So I said well we are good then. The very next day toilet is plugged. He returns and charges me another $300. This time he uses the camera and discovers another root just past the one he drilled yesterday. But instead of charging me 100 bucks more I'm charged $100 to remove toilet, $100 for his ‘ expertise ‘ and another $100 for the camera!!! That practice is like calling a carpenter and he says the customers which tool should he use to build. I don't know! But then I'm responsible if he doesn't use the proper tools! I hired a professional to fix a root issue, if he needs to see then use your tools to do it right the first time. It's crazy I paid double $600!!! For a nonlicensed guy to do the job wrong! No response when I emailed Allens on Maui. Zip. Nothing this is NOT PONO!

I had Justin inspect our clogged main pipe as a second opinion after a plumber from another company did the initial inspection the night before. The findings and recommendations were so different, even though they used similar equipment….snake with an attached camera. The first company charged a considerable fee just for coming out to check….. Allen’s Plumbing fee was quite reasonable and affordable. After Justin showed me the inside of our main pipe via the camera, he took time to explain exactly what the next steps will be. Using a detector and his “magic” copper tubes, he walked and found the pipe that connects to the city’s system. I find Justin knowledgeable, friendly, but still professional in his approach. Being a senior, I appreciate his patience in explaining the work that’s needed to resolve our plumbing problem.

After going through ten days of standing water in my kitchen sinks and three other plumbing “professionals“ (receiving casual, flippant estimates of $400 - $500 with little/no inspection) I was lamenting my dilemma with a friend on the phone when I saw Allen’s Plumbing commercial on the TV. Seeing this as an omen, I made the call and was greeted.by a friendly, helpful scheduler and scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday from 4-8. On Tuesday evening I received a call a little after 4 telling me that the plumber may be late due to a rough call that was taking longer than anticipated. At 8:18 I received a call letting me know that the plumber was not able to make it but would I be available the next morning between 8-10. I said yes (but okay, this cost them a star for this review, I would have rated 5 stars). At 8:11 a very pleasant, respectful young man showed up, took off his shoes on entering, and went to my kitchen. He opened up under my sink and thanked me for clearing the area so he could work. After looking for a couple minutes, he said he thought the estimate would be $175-$185. I mentioned I had a coupon from their website for $99, he asked to see it, and when shown he said “sure, good for you!” He worked for about 40 minutes and then tested his work. Everything worked out great, the payment was quick and easy and before he left I had a copy of both the estimate and my receipt in my email. My only regret was that I forgot to give the plumber the tip I had for him in my pocket. Great work, satisfied customer!

I showed him where the clog drain was & he went right to work unfortunately the drain my wife & I thought was stuck was actually blocked. He was trying for awhile to send the snake down & eventually told me that he thought it was block off. He sucked out the water & what he assumed was correct. After all his hard work he waived the fees cause we were returning customers! We will definitely use Allen’s Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs & would recommend them to everyone that needs any kind of plumbing work done.

Tristan and Bennett were excellent. Knew exactly what to do. Allen's Plumbing exposed how incompetent property managers can be. Swan dispatched the guys to my condo and they were done in an hour. Will only use Allen's Plumbing.

The technician Daniel did a great job, well prepared quick, very informative on what would be completed once he started the job.

As for the office, got rescheduled 1 times and lost 1/2 days of work as I was waiting for the scheduling office to call back on status. I believe they need to work on each job and not underestimate the time for the technician to complete there job.

Allens Plumbing replaced all my plumbing on two very old homes. They were very professional, responsive, and friendly. They kept me informed each step of the way and worked hard all day without even taking lunch breaks. I highly recommend them for their good work ethics and always ready to please the customer. I thought that they were going to install a new vent for the shower, but turned out that it wasn't in the contract. However, they did it for free anyway. Customer service is very, very good and everyone was so friendly. Their price was one of the lowest from all the estimates I got, and they included everything...even digging a trench that other companies didn't include. You won't regret hiring them to do your job, I guarantee!

Chris Freed did an excellent job. He assessed the problem quickly and offered numerous solutions. When he arrived I was in tears and when he left I felt confident that the job was well done.

THE GOOD: Great website. Great online and phone customer support. Very helpful technicians. Easy to understand estimate/price quote. Good call back and follow up. Good materials. Good workmanship. Job completed quickly. So, why am I not rating this a 5 star experience? THE BAD: I had to take away 2 stars for poor customer service after job completion. I reached out to 3 separate individuals at Allens' with a request for an invoice that more clearly itemized the parts and labor. I needed this information to get a rebate from Sears, where I got my old garbage disposal unit (it was still under warranty, but because they could not replace it, they were willing to refund me for a unit supplied by another company, although not for the labor of installing it). My email to the technician who installed my unit was ignored. The two guys in the Halawa office who I spoke to by phone, on two separate occasions, said they couldn't do anything because their manager was out, and they were unclear when he would be back. They both said they would pass on my request to their manager, but when I called back, no one seemed to have any recollection of my having called, before, so I think I was just blown off. Maybe the manager got the message; maybe he didn't. Not sure which is worse: thinking that the employees didn't care enough about my request to inform their manager, or thinking that their manager didn't care enough to call back. I gave up. Fortunately, the Sears representative I was working with was able to come up with a rebate offer, based on online pricing for the type of disposal unit I had installed, which satisfied us both. But as for my experience with Allens . . . Well, it makes me concerned about the kind of service I can expect if anything goes wrong with my garbage disposal unit, in the future. I'm sorry to have to say, but that's how a 5 star experience turns into a 3 star experience.

Allen’s technician came to determine why a new tankless water heater was not providing hot water to the shower. He came back twice and on the second return I called the manufacturer’s technical support office for assistance in determining the problem since Allen’s technician couldn’t determine the problem. I was charged $270 for information that was free and was to help Allen’s technician figure out why the tankless heater was not producing hot water in the shower. In my opinion this was ridiculous and a ripoff.

Every encounter I've had with Allen's Plumbing staff increases the respect and trust I have with this company. The people they send to address my problems really know their stuff, allow me to watch and learn, welcome my questions, and finish the work within the day. I highly recommend becoming a member.

At our old house, JP helped view (via camera) and unclog an outflow line. At our new house, JP replaced all the low toilets with new ADA ones. Chris changed the water filter in the fridge that came with the new house, and helped us replace our water heater. He also set up a timer with an on/off switch to help us save $$.

Allens Plumbing was the only plumbing company that was willing to send a technician out to repair/replace a broken shower valve in one of my bathrooms. I’ve called several companies only to be told they either have no technicians available, emergency service fee is outrageously high or an appointment is required. I had to have the repair done immediately due to my main water line had to be shut off until the repair is complete. Service specialist Daniel Corpuz arrived at my house and immediately assessed what he needed to try first. He also explained the ‘worse case scenario’ if the simpler method did not work. But he persisted and was able to remove small pieces of the old valve that was stuck inside the pipe saving me expensive major repairs.

Overall, my experience with Allens Plumbing and a technician Daniel Corpuz have been very positive. Definitely will call them for future plumbing work.

Great company love the fact that I can always trust them. I bought into their frequent Plumbing club and was disappointed that I did not get a discount on a Sunday service. That was a bummer I’m sure it’s somewhere in the fine print, but what a disappointment I paid $600 for a clogged toilet drain. And my only issue with that is I am part of their special Plumbing Club discount group, so that was a bummer but you know businesses will get you. Terrence is an exceptional technician. After several ridiculously high estimates, I decided to keep calling around...I came across Allen's Plumbing and after asking what my exact needs were, I was able to schedule an appt for the very next day...Jonah was AMAZING!!!!!! Very respectful, informative, professional and HELPFUL...He explained the process and the parts that were necessary for the job. He also quoted me less than half of ALL of the previous estimates.. The estimate was free! ( 2 companies charged me a dispatch fee just for coming which was ridiculously expensive for them just to tell me that it would be $3k to complete my repair/installation.) I immediately agreed to receive the service, and even though he didn't have the exact part with him, he returned a short time later and completed the job in half the time! ( a 3 hour job done in less than 90 minutes) I was so blown away at the level of expertise and his service. Jonah walked me through the installation process, even showing me the parts that were replaced. He asked me to test everything out before he left and thanked me for using Allen's Plumbing.

The next day, I had some issues with temperature and called Allen's Plumbing for a follow up, Jonah was literally back within the hour and explained what happened and it was a quick fix (less than a few minutes)

I would HIGHLY recommend! Amazing value and service. He wasn't trying to upsell, or pressure me into services that I didn't need, nor did he charge me a ridiculously expensive dispatch fee and ohana plan lol. I provided kitchen faucet to be replaced, tech was very nice, faucet was replaced then a huge pipe leak happened under my sink when water turned back on caused by washer rings in my connections per tech, this leak caused under my sink and my floor rugs to get wet. The job cost me over $400.00, very expensive - will have to find someone else next time.

I have used him a few times and he was on time, competent, knowledgeable, was professional yet personable, found my issues, gave me great advice and several options never making me feel like I was being price gouged. I felt he was sincere and trustworthy which honestly is a first with my experience with plumbers! JP is very knowledgeable. 2 toilets in the house 1 toilet drains water and the other doesn’t. It’s a mystery however to make sure I was satisfied as a customer he inserted a camera into the sewer drain for and unseen cracks or clogs. Would recommend Allen’s plumbing and ask for JP. I’m glad I wasn’t given a 3 hour window to wait for the technician to show up like a lot of other companies force you to do. I was very satisfied with work that was done.

I called Allens plumbing at 0930 and reported a problem with my water heater, by 1230 Chris Freed had arrived, confirmed it needed replacing, gave me several options and by 1:30 he had gotten the two new water heaters for my system and by 5:30 he had installed them both. Superbly professional the entire time. Absolute gem to work with, carefully explaining everything. I had used Chris from Allens Plumbing once before for a shower repair that was a year ago and was also superb. I strongly recommend Allens Plumbing!

Upon finding it he evaluated the damage to include potential future damage involving possible mold build up.

He preformed professionally and quickly repaired the leak. His further determination to crawl into a small crawl space to reach the problem was exceptionally inspiring.

To say I'm disappointed with Allen’s Plumbing and its performance as a professional company would be an understatement. My whole experience with them today, January 27, was a total debacle!

I initially spoke with company rep Issah on January 21 who handled my call. He was professional, I'd say this. But I was given a whole week to wait to receive service. My appointment was scheduled for today, January 27, at 8:30 am. And their employee Andrea called me at 7:00 a.m. this morning to confirm my appointment time. However, by 8:35 a.m. no one had showed up. So, I called the company and spoke with Andrea directly. She told me that traffic was the reason, and the plumber would be arriving shortly. I called again at 8:41 and she told me that the plumber was picking up my plumbing part. And this is where the conversation went totally south.

I found them to be incredibly disorganized. The plumber could have picked up the part the day before my appointment. I sent a picture via email to Andrea yesterday before our appointment and she said she would send me an estimate. Yet she didn’t keep her promise and sent me nothing. I’m also upset because she suddenly told me the building's water had to be shut off during the visit today. This was not previously discussed or ever mentioned. For I need to schedule the water shutoff with the building management. I know how it works. But we didn’t discuss the shutdown of the building in any of our prior calls. My washer/dryer valve is new. I explained to Andrea that I need the valve to be looked at because I will be installing my new washer dryer combo. But this doesn’t mean it’s broken or should be replaced. And that the whole building needs to be deprived of water.

I don’t like their model of how they conduct business and perform even the simplest of tasks. They are so careless and wasteful of a customer's time. It doesn’t make sense to me. Besides, they don’t charge by the hour but charge a flat fee instead. How can they provide an estimate based on a picture? And then don't even send it when they said they would? I wouldn’t recommend hiring Allen’s Plumbing, that's for sure. I'm puzzled how they've been in business so long. I read some of their reviewes and granted they have 4.7 stars but what I noticed customers made comments and complained about the price.

Regardless, I wasted no time finding another plumbing service to help me. I decided to hire Steve’s Plumbing in Honolulu. I called them today and immediately got a same-day appointment. Like, yeah! They showed up on time. And guess what they didn’t need to replace my bathroom valve. It’s not broken. I paid a diagnostic fee of $59.95 +tax exactly what I was told BEFORE my schedule appointment. This is what I'm talking about!

Avoid. We needed a plumber as soon as possible and Allen's plumbing was willing to come right Away. That said, he charged us $587 for about 10 or $12 worth of parts and less than a half an hour if his time. I believe it was because my wife was home and because she was a woman he took advantage of her. If he had given that kind of an estimate she would have said no. In my book that's a rip-off and sexist.

We are very pleased with the work done by Jonah of Allen's plumbing. We needed the main shut off valve to the house replaced as well as a couple of hose bibs. Jonah tried to make it work with our small box but it just would not fit so he had to dig up the old box and install a larger box. This involved removing some bricks and lots of digging. When I went to check the work on the box and bibs Jonah had done more then expected. He not only did the job but cleaned up the area and replaced all the bricks . For the hose bib he went out of his way to save the hose that was frozen on the old bib as well as installed a bracket to secure the pipe to the wall.

Overall we are very pleased. Thank you Allen's Plumbing.

$323 charge to come check P-trap and use their camera. They do good work I'm sure but this cost more than a visit to the doctors some how.

Had roots growing from drain where toilet was removed. Technician scoped with camera and luckily found no line damage from roots in drain line but was caused by tree matter growing from where the toilet flange was. Easily remedied using a plant/weed killer.

A person came to my house and used a snake and a coat hanger to try to free up a drainage problem on my bathtub. He was able to free up the drain some but within a week the problem reoccurred. He did nothing that I had not already done myself and I was charged $183.25.

I placed an emergency call on Christmas Eve. Giovanni came and resolved the problem. It's been almost a month with no problems. Giovanni was very professional and put our minds at ease, as well as the people in the office. I was very glad I called them.

Daniel with Allens Plumbing replaced rusted out cast iron drain pipes in our house with new ABS drain pipes. I am very happy with the work and service. Daniel answered all my questions and provided a detailed quote for the work that laid out the costs and possible additional costs if they found any needed repairs not covered by the quote. I booked service on-line during a Holiday weekend and was pleasantly surprised to receive a confirming phone call for a service appointment shortly after for scheduled service within one day of my preferred request. The technician called to confirm before arrival and was able to fix the plumbing issue that day with parts on his truck. This alleviated any need for a return trip. The work was completed in a timely and professional matter. The technician kept in communication with me at all times. I was very pleased with this experience, especially in Maui where it is often difficult to find such responsive technicians.

Their customer service is really great. From their office personnel that kept me updated on the schedule & arrival of their plumber to Junior, the plumber that replaced my water heater. Junior is not only knowledgeable but also very friendly. He & his companion made the job look really easy. I'm definitely calling them back if we had anymore plumbing problem. & by the way, I would also praise their response time. If they say they'll be at your place at a particular time, their there. Met with Justin A last Friday. He was on time and very courteous. Was able to detect the plumbing problem in good timing. Explained in very simple language (in which I appreciated) of what he needed to do to fix it. He also pointed out a worn part and suggested to have it replaced to avoid future problems in which I did. Very pleased with his service.

The gentleman who came (don't remember his name) was quite blunt and forthright about my plumbing problems, but he did an excellent job. My toilet only runs once in a while now, rather than all the time. He recommended that I get a new one. He also fixed the leak under my kitchen sink so that I can now use the sink.

This is regarding Allen's Plumbing on Maui.
It was good that the company sent someone to estimate the cost and make an appointment to do the work in a short time. I was able to make an appointment for the following day. Sam the worker they sent to do the job was professional and pleasant. Sam did the job quickly and efficiently. The only issue I had, on the first day of the job, was not being notified of a delay in the worker being here at the time specified. This was later rectified. From then on I was kept up to date on any changes or delays. I would suggest the company give a time frame of two hours for the arrival of a plumber. That way it would cover all delays.

Our solar water heater was only distributing cold water on overcast days and my family had to warm the water on the stove. I called Allens Plumbing in Wailuku, Maui, and the plumber was able to figure out the problem on my water heater and installed a new thermastat. It works now.

Technician was very personable and explained completely what was going on and what needed to be done. The package received from the supply house was incomplete so after it was installed there were still problems. Technician did not give up, was able to figure out what was necessary, and did not leave until all was in perfect working order. I am so thankful for his dedication to the job and perseverance.

Had a clogged and leaking kitchen sink and at the apartment I just moved into and my landlord sent over a gentleman from Allen's, JP. He was on time, worked quickly, cleaned up after the mess, and overall was very professional and a really nice guy who was easy to talk to. It's always unfortunate when for whatever reason there's a bit of awkwardness that just happens sometimes when you meet a meet a stranger, hired or not. None of that here. Should I need a plumber for any issues in the future, I'm going to ask if my landlord could ask for him again (if he's not already his go-to guy, which I believe might be the case.) The person who came to our condo spent over 4 hours cleaning the old sewer. He did a through job, and I am very happy about it.

We had an initial scheduling problem. After a few hours I called back again, and my order was processed immediately. Randy was the plumber that was assigned and he was SUPERB!! He was very experienced and identified the problem right away. He fixed the problem quickly. And he left the area neat and clean after he replaced the plumbing. He was also very patient in teaching me about the original cause of the problem, identifying what to look for, and how to handle it if it were to happen again. I had some work done by a handy man that left my water tank in shambles. He turned my tank set up into a Frankenstein water tank. Allen’s came and fixed all his mistakes, they rechecked and double checked their work to make sure there was no leaks in my new tank. Now everything is working top shape. Bought my house 3 weeks ago and already had a clogged drain. Called Allen's and they said someone would be there in about an hour, 45 minutes later JP shows up to see what's wrong. 20 minutes later clogged drain is no longer clogged and questions on some other stuff answered. He also put notes on the account so someone would contact us about future projects. Great service and great customer service. Would recommend 100% of the time.

This was a fantastic experience. I definitely felt that the repair suggestion was accurate and honest. There was no attempt to price gauge although this home is in a nice area. By getting 2 estimates and comparing them, this one seemed substantially less expensive and tailored to fix the problem of the old sewer pipes and clogging. Will definitely use this company for all my plumbing needs now and in the future and am very relieved that they came to check out the situation.

Great communication and prompt service but the price was high According to own record to replace TOTO flapper was less than $200 but it costed us $550 for 2. Also replacing washlet was quoted $600 but we could bye it as low as $345 According to Washlette agent, New installation is $150 and we are only replacing.... so.... again $100 over priced. Jonah is skilled at analyzing the problem and explaining the steps toward resolution. He then effectively treats the issue, leaving us feeling safe and relieved. Awesome service, we had a plugged drain on Christmas Eve, l called Allen’s plumbing and was told that a technician would be able to get to my house in an hour and a half. I got a call from Daniel about 20 minutes later he said he would be here in an hour. He got here right on time and got right to work. He cleared the drain and showed me what the pipes looked like with a camera tool he used. He recommended that we do a descaling job to prevent the problem to happening again. I recently called Allen’s Plumbing to have the descaling done. The scheduler told me that they would be able to come over today and that Daniel would be the technician. Daniel called and advised me that he was on his way. He got right to work but was having difficulty accessing the main pipe, called a coworker Justin. He came over and both kept trying to access the main drain but no success. He advised me that he would have to cut a hole in the wall behind the toilet to provide access to the pipe and would provide an access panel cover for the hole. They both worked until the end of their shift and said that he would return the next morning at 8:30. Daniel returned on time and cleaned and cleared the drain pipe. Justin came after his job to assist Daniel. They both finished the job and cleaned up and showed me what the pipes looked like after the descaling was done. The pipes looked like new! I am very pleased with the work that Daniel and Justin did, they were very knowledgeable and professional and really took pride in their work. AWESOME WORK GUYS! I already recommended Allen’s to one of my neighbors

I called to make an appointment on Sunday evening thinking I would just leave a message for Monday morning. I didn't have an emergency but the fact that someone was there on the phone to determine if we did need emergency services is so helpful. This is the second time we have needed Allens and both individuals who came out were kind, courteous and clearly knew what they were doing-100%professional.

On 12/20/17 I called Allen's Plumbing (my home is in Kihei, Hawaii). A shower/tub faucet unit in my Ohana would not shut off. Plumber Cory R.
came within an hour or two (fast service), had the replacement core in his truck, and the job was completed with minimum inconvenience from having the water supply turned off. Fast, friendly and great service. I recommend Allen's Plumbing highly. We are registered members with Allen's Plumbing so there were very nice savings in cost as well. :-)

They came into this project knowing exactly what they had to do, with all the materials they needed and got off to a quick start! In a day and a half they succeeded in completely overhauling and installing a new water line through the attic and down to each receptacle in the house! This involved the two bathroom sinks, toilets, and showers. Then there was the washing machine kitchen sink and refrigerator and lastly a new water line to the outside of the home with a water hose attachment!
I WILL always use the services of Allen’s Plumbing!

Our technician, Sam Medeiros, was awesome. Sam did our initial quote and he listened to what was requested. He came back to perform the job and he did a thorough job. He listened and explained all that he performed so we could have a better understanding to explain to our insurance adjuster. We had a little issue with the first dispatcher about the timing/confirmation but it was rectified. I would continue to recommend Allen’s Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing services.

Kudos to Ethan and Justin. A home inspection found our water pressure too high but curiously the shower seemed weak. They quickly replaced the faulty pressure regulator and five hose bibs. Now, the shower and faucets are much stronger and constant. Very pleased.

Best thing is they showed up. Spent 2.5 hours and didn't fix 2 clogged sinks back to back. Charged $342. Then wanted $650 to come back and hydrojet. $1000 plus for 2 sinks. I called a different plumber who cleated sinks in 10 minutes. Thank God I didn't use them a second time.

Tried to schedule a service, customer rep took all my information on the phone leading me to believe they were checking the schedule or scheduling me in. Then I get transferred to another rep who tells me they can't come until tomorrow after 10am. They were not able to provide any kind of time range so just be aware before calling you will likely need to stay home all day. I would recommend asking about scheduling before handing over any other information.

Edit: Since they replied I apologize for your confusing experience. If you were dealing with stressful plumbing situation, I can understand how our process might seem a little tedious or confusing.

I want to make it clear the issue wasn't tedious or confusing, the issue was your company wanting me take a day off work with no time range at all to work off of other than after 10am. I'll find another company that can provide a time range.

The plumber who came to our house was very friendly. My wife felt that our downstairs toilet was leaking and there was an unfamiliar sound that sounded too loud to be a drip.
We both concluded that it must have been expanding and contracting pipes.
Back to the leak... he first checked the water pressure and told me we needed a water pressure regulator ($479).

This took him about 45 mins.

Afterwards, he told me that we should get a new toilet. But, it would be cheaper for me to do myself.

So, at the end of the day I spent $800 to fix a problem I could have just done without a visit.

The water pressure in our house is now weaker than needed to wash the soap off after showering. I still have an undiagnosed clicking noise when the water turns on.

That said, the tech was very friendly. I just feel liked I wasted $682.

We had issues with our parent’s toilet and so we called Allens Plumbing for help and asked for Justin A. specifically because he had helped us before. We weren’t sure if he would be available right away until we got the call to confirm he was on his way within the hour. Justin A. assessed the problem and was able to explain what had happened and gave us options on what could be done. It was decided to replace and install the toilet because it was already old and noticed it had a hairline crack in the toilet. He took out the toilet, went to dump it and got a brand new one and installed it that same day. My parents were so impressed with his work and professionalism. Installed Pelican whole house water filtration/softener system. All my copper for water was outside, so they had to cut wall and add new copper and fittings to bring system into garage. They did a great job and their price was the best/lowest of 4 quotes. The end product looks great with minimal cutting of the wall; the cut pieces slide back in to hide the holes! They showed up on time, we’re done fast and they charged exactly what they quoted-they’ve got my future business after this. Great job all-round!

I called their office for a plumber on a Saturday and was told the dispatcher would call that day to schedule me. No one called that day, or Sunday or Monday morning. I called them again Monday around noon to find out that my request was in the system. Finally I got an appointment. The plumber did a great job but I won’t call them in an emergency.

When our sewer pipe needed cleaning and decaling, we called several companies and decided on Allen’s Plumbing because of their reputation. Justin came over assessed the situation and explained in detail what needed to be done and gave us a reasonable quote. With their drain video camera we were able to see the heavy scaling and rust bulbs in the sewer pipe of our 50-year-old home. It looked like a cramped cave in a horror movie. He and Davin spent a day working tirelessly to clear the pipe scaling. The video camera showed a clear unobstructed pipe. We’re very happy.

I usually get quick responses and the technicians as well as the phone operators are very friendly and professional; however, it's been a few weeks since they've gotten back to me about a questionable charge for a repeated service. I called a couple of times (7/17 & 7/31) and had to explain the same situation and answer the same questions, and each time, they say they'll get back to me. We'll see if someone calls me back this week.

The plumbers are awesome and does amazing work. The managers at the office. Not so much. For 3 weeks I have been trying to get an itemize receipt for services I paid for. I should have to call every week to try and get one. Before that for months I was trying to find out if they could get a light for my filter and never received a call back. I finally gave up and went with an another company. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get answers from the office.

JP the actual plumber apologized for the potentially hazardous/and harmful waste left of the job site and through the house. But customer service called back 6 hours laughing and making jokes. Stay away from this company , their unprofessionalism and higher than average prices are unacceptable.

Want to thank Jonah, Daniel K and Daniel for their exceptional work. We replaced all our PVC pipes to copper pipes in our home. Price was reasonable and job was done in just 2 days. They were all very professional and accommodating. We had no problems and will call them again if we need any professional plumbing work done. The job take a little longer, the technician doesn't the part. He also not used to the part. Without me go in there to find out is the matter, it may take him longer. And I am charged the he took. I don't think I like it.

This is the first time we’ve ever used Allen’s Plumbing. We decided to give them a call because there was a clog issue at our rental. The job in total costed us roughly $545 for 20 minutes of work! They did get the job done which was a clogged line, according to the tech “threw in a cable and water started flowing.”

They charged us $300 for an emergency call (although they advertise 24/7 and it was during normal business hours-2:45pm) and an additional $285 to get the line unclogged. Total rip off! The horror stories were true about their pricing. Consider a 2nd opinion before calling them to do work. They may just charge you the $300 just for showing.

James did a great job of installing our kitchen faucet and repairing our pop up in our bathroom. He was polite and friendly and finished the job promptly. This is repeat business for us but they keep getting better and better. Definitely would refer them to friends and will ask for James again.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. As a new home owner, there is nothing worse than spending the bulk of your life savings only to find out your plumbing is past it’s life. When we did our the scoping as recommended; it was another company, but the number we were told was gut wrenching.

I ended up calling Allen’s Plumbing for a second opinion. We scheduled a consultation and unfortunately they sent the wrong tech. No problem, they sent another pair within a few hours.

Daniel and his partner were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable about an uncomfortable situation. He explained step by step what they would do and didn’t even mind checking out some other plumbing issues. Very honest guys. When I suggested an alternative method; they said it’s better to just replace the pipes since the house is raised. On top of that; the method they chose was far less invasive than what the other company wanted to do.

Shortly after they left I received a quote. *Cue jumping for joy* After I confirmed with my husband we booked that same day and scheduled the job to be done in the same month.

As for their work, I couldn’t be happier. They were professional, worked hard, and got the job done on time. They didn’t leave a mess at inside or outside and even kept in communication about little things; like my dirt wasn’t going to be completely flat like before. They even told us when the concrete was done just in case we wanted to carve our names in. I really can’t recommend these guys enough. Would recommend for anyone with plumbing woes. The service guy was nice and knowledgeable, but the cost was out of control. Who knew plumbers make $250/hour plus? That's $520,000 per year - more than doctors make.

Every time we have used Allen's Plumbing, they have provided exceptional service. Highly recommend them for all your pluming needs. David Kondo was our specialist and he was fantastic.

JP is the man! He was great in determining the main drain problem we had - roots in our pipe. He had to do a little excavation work to locate the problem and was able to replace the section of the pipe with roots and replace it. He even added a new clean out pipe to help with future issues.

I used Allen’s months before and the service was excellent. I work with a lot of vendors for our business and when it came time to call a plumber, I couldn’t remember the name of the company but luckily they had sent me a flyer with their name on it. Allen is are go to plumbing service. We had a toilet issue that went beyond a simple repair due to the age. Things due break and wear out. It was time for a new one. Justin replaced the toilet in a timely, professional manner, and left the space clean.

I've used Allens Plumbing twice this year. In January to repair a broken and clogged sewer line and most recently a leaking main water shut-off. In both instances, my calls were answered promptly and a plumber was sent out within a couple of hours. Both Jonah (January) and Christopher were professional, explained the different scenarios, provided me with different repair options, and kept me updated as the work progressed. Both jobs were completed to or above my expectations. E.g.: Although Christopher had to dig a hole around the shut-off in a rock garden, when completed, it looked as if nothing was ever touched and I'm so appreciative of that. I definitely will be using Allens Plumbing in the future and give my highest recommendation.

on july 21 2019 sewer backed up into my residence and the next day Allens plumbing came and did the soft block removal and got it flowing again (281.00) but on inspection of my sewer lines found that scales had built up in the lines , so tech Mark A called a supervisor to the site to assess the next step. was told they could do a half day of de-scaling and was quoted in the neighborhood of 1600.00 dollars.. so I elected to have the job done a week later after drains started backing up again ,scheduled to do the service on wed aug 14 at 8 a.m ..tech showed up at 8:30 and sat in his work truck untill 8:45 waiting for his apprentice to arrive then started process ,did the front portion of the the pipes about approx. 70',went well. (house built in 78) then proceeded to back of the house inspected the rear section of the lines and found upon inspection with the line camera that it was abs pipes (extension to dwelling).
They broke for lunch at 11:30 back at 12:30..started to do the descaling from the original rear clean out ,all was goin as planned looked good I was observing on their camera monitor and tech stated it looks way better and he is going to clean it up a little more so he kept boring out the lines so I walked away 10 maybe 20 minutes later tech called me saying now there is 2 hole in the line about a foot away from each other ,now he has to call another person from Allens plumbing to advise of the problem, was told to fix the problem there are two ways to fix this ,either we can jack hammer the foundation inside the house or try to repair it with trenchless repair of a 1 or 2 foot section ,of a cost to start $3700.00 either way both bout the same cost ..he stated he will e-mail me with the estimate ..
So tech Mark finished up outside the house and came inside to flush out the lines and repair the drain vent line that he needed to cut , upon trying to reconnect adjoining vent line to bathroom sink drain , pulled on it and broke the metal pipe about 2 inches from the concrete floor...said he would come back the next day to repair it....so he cleaned up and proceeded to make my invoiced bill for the day...which now is $2092.64
so as of today aug 18 2019 I have no emailed estimate and drain pipe in the bathroom fixed.. so add that up folks its going to cost me close to $600.00 to have it repaired properly..
Long story short , something stinks and its not the sewer drain !!!!

Hot and cold water pressure at the kitchen sink was very low. Both valves were widely open so I didn't know what to do next. He found some black substances the tips of the water facet and removed it and water pressure came back to normal. He told me for the next time, go to Youtube so I can learn many know-hows there. I really appreciate his quick service and professionalism. I'd definitely contact Allens Plumbing from now on.

We had a great experience with the plumber that came to our house. He stayed till he found out why we had a leak in our bathroom. He was here for a couple of hours and my son said he was very thorough with everything he did. We will definitely use Allen’s Plumbing again if the need arises again.

Our pop up bathtub plug was broken and rusting due to non-use of our bathtub. I discovered quickly that I did not have the right tools to remove a stubborn screw cap. I decided to use Home Advisor and Allens Plumbing contacted me on a Sunday to find out what was needed. This was a nice change since one usually has to leave a voice mail and wait for a response during business hours. We booked a next day appointment and were advised of the travel fee if the plumber came out and we did not consign for the repair approval. Next day, dispatch contacted us with the estimated time of arrival. When the plumber came, he was polite and carefully removed the stubborn pop up assembly. After the repair was approved, he went to the Plumbing Parts place and returned to install the part. The new plug and drain frame works fine. And he checked the drain to ensure it was not clogged with hair, debris, etc. Overall, we were satisfied and happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use Allens Plumbing again.

Daniel Corpuz went above and beyond his duties to make sure the repairs was done right. He was very professional and a very kind hearted person. He is a very courteous young man, very respectful. My wife and I decided to replace our flushing mechanism to our toilet as it was old and had developed problems. We purchased
a complete new set online. However, when we attempted to do the replacement ourselves, we had an issue in which the bolts securing the tank to the toilet bowl were rusted completely and the nuts were impossible to release (installed by previous property owner in the 90s). We did not have the tools or knowledge to remedy this, so we decided to call Allens Plumbing. They dispatched Daniel Corpuz to our home. He was friendly, professional and was able to complete the job and even assisted us with securing the tank to the bowl with new bolts and the flush valve that we had purchased. I would trust him for future plumbing needs due to his excellent work and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good and trustworthy plumber.

Not Too Happy With the Outcome
I contacted Allen's Plumbing on 9/05/19 when I noticed the shower water backing up as I was getting ready for work. Our condominium uses them as on of the vendors familiar with our building. Call was placed @7:30am. The dispatcher was very pleasant and courteous and informed me a technician will be on his way. A little after 9:00am I was still waiting and called them back. She apologized and immediately got ahold of the technician who arrived by 9:30am. The technician was Justin Robello. He was courteous as well and apologized for delay. Justin informed it would cost $459.00 to remove the toilet and snake the drain. $459.00 to snake a plugged drain!!! How outrageous! I was caught between a rock and a hard plate. I was already late for work and the problem had to be resolved. He continued to proceed when I gave him the approval; however, I was not to happy with the price I was quoted to do the job. When he removed the snake, nothing was attached. The water was running in the shower and the sink so whatever was clogging the pipes was flushed down. . I'm hoping it was just toilet paper build up and nothing major. In the future, I will think twice of contacting this company when plumbing services are needed.

This was my second time hiring them to do Solar Water Heater tank maintenance to change anode rod and flush out tank. First I called them for my client's house and when I saw their work I hired them to do maintenance for our own tank. It's easy to contact and set up an appointment.

Received service the same day I called, although it was not an emergency. The problem was diagnosed by just describing what was happening and was repaired relatively quickly. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to their records showing my customer service agreement had expired. When I showed my receipt of having paid for 3 years of discounted service starting June 2021, my bill was adjusted and I was told the company's records would be updated. If I hadn't had the receipt right there, this would have been problematic to prove. I would have had to dig up year old credit card charges.

Allen’s Plumbing was the only plumbing company that thankfully responded on the day after Thanksgiving, for a draining issue that could have lasted over the weekend. When my tenant's water heater had a problem, I called Allen's plumbing. On that same day their office coordinated with me to get one of their workers to inspect it. They provided an estimate very quickly and were able to install the new heater that same day. Their office personnel was very customer friendly and knowledgeable. After the job was completed they called me to provide status.They accepted payment by credit card. They provided follow up to make sure that I was happy with the work that was done. Everything was painless. I am definitely going to use them again should the need arise.

Allen’s Plumbing in Oahu. Never use this company. Lies, no receipt, grossly overcharged for very little work, repeatedly late for appointments, extremely rude. Contacting the better business bureau.

The plumber (Justin) with Allen’s plumbing in Oahu arrived an hour late for the appointment. He located the leak on my Toto toilet, said that the item couldn’t be fixed so I need a new toilet seat. For 15 minutes of labor, and picking up a new seat, he quoted me $180. Then, he claimed to have found yet another leak. Now the total was $360. He couldn’t find the part. Now I need a new toilet ($800). Next, another leak in the tank. Can’t find the part to fix that. After 15 minutes of research, I locate both parts he claims can’t be found. Miraculously, he found both parts after my input. Now the total for everything is $460. He said it took hours to find the parts. I disputed the total with the manager. They said they will get back to me. No response. A total bill of over $550 was charged with no receipt.

Technician Daniel was cordial and thorough, explaining what the problems were, solutions and costs. My plumbing turned out to be a bigger task than expected but he persevered and completed the job.

Used Allens Plumbing the first time for a minor issue but liked their professionalism, timeliness and friendliness. It started the minute they answered their phone when I called for service. Going back to them for another service call was a no-brainer. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Had a guy come out TWO MONTHS ago to give us a quote for a project and we have yet to hear back from them. I have called almost every day for the last three weeks to see if they've generated a quote yet but no progress has been made. I have emailed the service manager three times now and have received no response. Overall poor service, very dissatisfied.

My review of their scheduling and customer service personnel however, is poor. I made an appointment 5 days ahead, so I expect them to honor that time as I had to take time off work for it. They call me at the appointment time to say it is moved 4 hours later!!! That is completely unacceptable. Their excuse is their prior appointment took longer than expected. That is your problem not mine. Go back to that appointment when you can, but honor your already booked appointments. Do not make your problem my problem.

I watched the entire process. They used the camera to look at the condition of our sewer line under our home and 135 ft. down our driveway. Instead of snaking our pipes, they used their Brute 4000 P.S.I. 7 GPM LP Gas powered unit for cleaning our sewer lines up to 4 in diameter. The hadn't been cleaned ever, since 2008 installation. The technician, JEkean Paul Yasuna kept me informed, while allowing me to witness the technology involved with cleaning our sewer pipes that a snake system couldn't begin doing. We learned some correctable issues with our system that explained why we have had 3 blockades in less than two years. Allen's Plumbing, invaluable service.

Tried to charge me extra for accessing the job. Didn't even do anything and tried to charge me extra. Recommend cutting into the concrete and didn't even get back to me with an estimate.

The job took longer than expected but outcome was satisfactory.

Justin A. stopped by to repair a leak from a clean out. He explained everything very well to someone who has intermediate knowledge of plumbing and sewage. He was thorough, good-natured, and worked hard through the off and on rain and sun. He informed me about the condition of the cast iron portion of the pipe and made small adjustments to the new sections to make things better for me in the long run. After the repair, we tested the clean out and noticed it was still backing up from further down the line towards the street. After further inspection, he deemed additional repair work was necessary and explained to me, my options. He came back the next day and repaired the section. There's always the sticker shock of having to repair something that you never really see and isn't a flashy feature of your home but, I do believe I received value with Justin A and Allen's Plumbing.

Technician was very polite, knowledgeable and fast. I would definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

It was easy to schedule a consultation through their website. The schedule clearly explained the company policy for their consult/service. The technician was on time and professional - he reviewed his recommendation for service and the cost for each job. The job was completed quickly, however there was a minor issue that we noted the next day. After calling the office, the technician returned the next day (on his day off!) and fixed the mistake. Overall, happy with the service provider and proud to support local!

Good Job, called Allen's Plumbing because there was no water pressure getting to the up stairs bathroom shower. He did a process of elimination to find the reason why this was happening . He ended up flushing the hot and cold lines that had debris. Good price and service. Will call again for plumbing needs.

As always, their service is great! Had a dishwasher install, replacing older one. Did awesome with explaining the process, taking care to not cause damage in a tight area, cleaning up everything, and just great job. Always highly recommend!

I saw the great reviews and decided to give them a call. I would like to give them 4 or 5 stars, but they never showed up the 1st time, then after a reschedule failed to show up again. Had to call someone else.
