I used Bumble Bee Plumbing to install a new natural gas line from my meter to the location of my kitchen gas stove. Bumble Bee was the first to quote my job from Angi, discussed their family ownership, came out within a couple of days to quote the job, emailed me the quote the same day, and Dan inspired confidence that he could complete the job without issue. The initial verbal estimate was revised upward after Dan conferred with the office citing that the ground was very hard in my neighborhood. I asked if they found that the ground was not that hard if the cost would be reduced and was told that it was a firm price regardless if it cost them more or less than what was estimated. The quote contained a description of the work to be done just as Dan had described it. The job required a city permit which Dan applied for and we assumed it would take 3-5 weeks, but it only took one week. The job was scheduled within a week of the permit approval. Dan, Alex, and Cody arrived on time (also, the office staff kept me informed (calls and texts) of the schedule dates, technician arrival, and follow up afterwards) and dug the trench and laid in the piping in one day. Dan coordinated with the city inspector who came out the next day to approve the installation, then Dan, Alex, and Cody returned the next day to fill in the trench and make the final connections as Dan had originally estimated. They left no trace to my yard where the trench was dug. I am very pleased with the work that was done by Dan, Alex, Cody, and the office staff (Chelsea (I think) was the person I spoke to the most), and am confident in our safety with the gas line going forward. Of all the plumbing companies I called to replace my water heater, not one was nicer to talk to than Janet. She even recommended I check whether or not my original water heater was covered under a warranty before scheduling an appointment. Turns out the original warranty had lapsed. After talking to the original installation company, and dealing with their not so professional and unfriendly friendly attitude, and already having called around getting quotes, I decided to call Janet back, and book an appointment. Her smile came through the phone, even during our first conversation. And any company, or person who is willing to help me save $1 instead of make their own, is hands down the type of person / company I prefer to do business with. I never write reviews, but Janet's and Jesse's (the man who replaced my water heater), personalities, and professionalism made it worth it. The warranty was by far the best I found, and they made a stressful situation a pleasurable one. The cost was comparable to what others had quoted me, but the service, was far above, even just over the phone. Thank you for helping make my experience a great one!
