Was in a pinch with a water issue early in the morning and PlumbSmart got me on their schedule within 30 minutes with a master plumber! I have never experienced excellent service as Mr. Rooter plumbing. The problem I was having several times over the past years was fixed and done fantastic. No one In the past Could permanently figure out what the problem was . Oscar did Solve that problem and within hours. .... On the same day I called, which was the first time I called Mr. Ruder Plumbing . They did diagnose and fix the water Issue.

*Outrageously expensive* for the service offered. They wanted $995 in order to clear a sewer line.

I suffered the emergency trip charge ($350), assuming that their prices would be at least in the ballpark of other plumbers ($100 - $400) or that some of the trip charge would count towards the service provided. I did not have a clue what their standard prices were until I had already been charged for the trip fee. $1345 to clean a sewer line (trip charge + cost of service) is absolutely ridiculous! So I refused their service.

I hoped to recoup maybe half the trip charge since the only thing the plumber did was confirm the diagnosis of the problem; no work was performed. I was told that there is a no refund policy. They did offer a $200 credit towards future service, but this is worth little because of their markup.

With some patience, I waited a day and had another plumber visit, snake, and put a camera in my sewer line for $255 total (no trip charge). Perhaps using a water jet would have cleared the sewer line better, but it was not worth 4 times the price and no pricing options.

I’ve used them twice in the last two weeks. First crew came out to find a leak that ended up being behind my fridge from the RO line.Paul and Trent were professional and efficient. Some plumbers may have just repaired the line, but they replaced it with a sturdier material.The second visit was today to repair a leaking pipe valve after the kitchen demolition. I have an older home and was concerned that the old pipes might not tolerate just a repair.Chris was the plumber who came out today. He put my mind to ease as he’s had a long career in plumbing and still possesses a passion for his trade.Gold Stars prices are fair and they don’t try to over sell. Returned all calls promptly, came out the same day, Great workmanship, a pleasure to deal with. Definitely recommend them!

Have never used their plumbing service but was able to witness and luckily avoid their reckless driving. If their driving is any indication of how they complete their plumbing work I won’t be calling them for any plumbing needs.
