I've used him for multiple projects at my old house over the past two months and look forward to using him for many more projects in the future. If I could just find a plumber and a general contractor half as good as Jimmy, I'd be set.

I recently had my air conditioner replaced, and I couldn’t be happier about the service provided by Fox. My initial call to installation was only 48 hours. (I knew it had been dying and had already gotten some prices from other places, so I knew I could skip that step because theirs were in line with other places. It was also 17 years old so I knew I wanted a completely new system, although they did give me the option of replacing the parts that were broken.)There were a few minor hiccups and the way they were handled was outstanding:1) The finance offer I received was different from what I was initially offered, but a quick phone call to Joe Caneiro got it fixed within minutes.2) Glass and Forrest did an excellent job on the install. They were professional, but also very friendly (and given that they were working in my attic on a 100+ degree day, that was impressive), even when they were finished and went to turn everything on… and nothing happened. But they were able to fix the faulty wiring and get it working, with a pleasant attitude the entire time.Fox even called a few days later to schedule someone to come out and double check everything. I have been cool and comfortable for over a week now!And the best part: the guy who came out originally said he thought there was some additional work that needed to be done on the ducts. The guys who did the install said it was actually fine, so I wasn’t charged for unnecessary work.

These guys are great. Hired them for a pretty difficult outdoor fan installation (20 foot ceiling). They showed up on time with the right equipment to get the job done right. Would definitely recommend Texas Electric...!

Finding a reliable electrician in your immediate area can be a real challenge. I called this guy since I know you care about your team's well-being. Within two hours of my call, he had fixed the issue and let me back into my home.

I called two other electric companies who both failed to show up for their appointment before I contacted Colvin. Hayward had my issue fixed within the hour and was very professional and even fixed my doorbell button as he left because he noticed it was broken.

Great guys! Showed on time and fixed my issues at reasonable cost. Will certainly call them first next time.

I had them install to outdoor electrical sockets. They don't support a blower or lawn mower. I called them and asked them to come back out and fix. They BLOCKED my number and did not respond to email. They have no intention of fixing the issue. Terrible results and customer service. Buyer beware. Test the outlets with tools first.

They don't repair Dewalt battery's

I called IES to install a whole house surge protector and was quoted $450. We scheduled at that time because its a new house and others in the area were having issues with power surges. My mistake, I should have called around. They came out and did the work. Only afterwards did I find out how much I was ripped off. The surge protector they installed is an $88 product which means their standard trip fee (their words, not mine) was $362. I then called a few other places around to find out what their charge would be for the same item and was quoted between $200 and $300. When I mentioned to one place what I paid their response was holy sh1t you got ripped off. I contacted IES and was told them would look into this exorbitant charge. Their response was We only charged you what we paid for the surge protector plus our standard trip fee.. I feel completely taken and will NEVER use them again. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!
