John King came out Friday to look an estimate a job for me. It was a very simple job dealing with putting electric up for a small camper. He was supposed to get me the estimate by the end of Friday evening. I explained to him that I needed the job done immediately and he said the earliest he could be was Tuesday. Tuesday came and I have not heard anything from him so I called. The receptionist acted like she had no idea what was going on but she must have spoke with him because Wednesday morning finally I received an estimate from John King. Tuesday I had another electrician cite the job and give me an on the site estimate. After time and material I was looking at about just under $500. John King quote was for $1,100! Thank you John King for being very late and having me wait patiently for absolutely no reason!

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I would give zero stars if I could. We called for an ESTIMATE, when the electrician showed up, he began work on my fuse box. He was not authorized to do any repairs, and I quickly stopped him. He informed me that I would be charged by the hour since he was already there. I would have expected for an ESTIMATE that someone would have informed me PRIOR to the service person arriving that there was a charge, or that there wasn't a way to get an estimate of services. I spoke to a manager after receiving a bill, and was very rudely told fine, don't pay it, before he hung up on me. Fast forward 60 days, and I am getting a collection notice for lack of payment. VERY unprofessional, not to mention expensive company!

SCAM! SCAM! SCAMMERS! DO NOT MAKE ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

First, I had to call this company multiple time before I could get someone to come to the house. I specifically explained to the lady on the phone that my dishwasher had a burning smell and that I had some circuit breaker issues. We the guy named Josh came this morning, I explained the same thing. He never said anything about not being able to look into what was wrong with the dishwasher, this was the main reason I called their company, He checked the circuit breaker for the dishwasher and saw it didnt trip off. At about 15mins , he came up and told me my bill was $155 and I asked if all was well. He said he couldn't do anything for me and I had to call Samsung to fix the Dishwasher. He immediately became aggressive as it was all about the money. I couldn't wait for him to leave. I wrote the check and that was it. Horrible experience. I am going to pretend I lost the $150 which can happen ones in a while.

Update on this case at at 06232022, I got a call from the owner Mr. Rocky, he explained that they don't handle non electrical issues and that there was a miscommunication between me and the tech. He has been magnanimous and waved the initial fee and i will only be paying $30 for the circuit breaker repair. For this reason I thank him for his professionalism and kindness. My review has been changed to a 5 because that is all what customer service is about.

DO NOT waste your time with this company. Long story short, we had an appointment at 4 pm and Tony didn’t call or text til 11 pm, so we rescheduled for the following day between 2-4 pm. Once again, he was very late. He called at 8:30 pm stating he was finished with the previous job. By that point, we were so fed up with it all that we had hired another company to do the work. Disappointing!

I would highly recommend that for any electrical needs you have to choose EG Electric. I’m definitely very satisfied. I had EG add wiring in my garage in order to install my Ring floodlight camera. Beware!!! Don’t use this company. They lie and say they do things and don’t. And they won’t respond to get the job done. Been over a month and my electric still isn’t right. Now I have to find someone else to get the job done right.
