I hired Derek at Keten Maintenance & Repairs to do several jobs at my business, rental property, and my personal residence. Here's why he's the guy for the job:

He's on time, he communicates, he is honest, has a great attitude, and has extremely fair pricing.

1. Punctuality - For years I have had issues with handymen being late and oftentimes not showing up at all. Derek is always right on time and doesn't waste time between tasks. I always feel I get every penny's worth on my projects.

2. Honesty - Derek is 100% transparent with the cost of supplies. He even accompanied me to Home Depot to help me select the right hardware and project items to ensure I didn't overpay or end up getting the wrong items for the job and used several pieces of hardware he already had on his truck at no extra charge.

3. Amazing attitude - I have dealt with handymen in the past that feel their skillset is too advanced for small tasks or basic things I simply don't have the time to do myself. Derek was friendly, personable, and enthusiastic about every project I threw at him, from complex tasks like a custom hinge replacement on a self-closing door at my restaurant to weed removal at my rental property. He was not only happy to help, but was genuinely enthusiastic about adding the work to his day's tasks.

4. Fair pricing - Derek proved to me that he is an experienced problem solver with a deep set of knowledge from years of professional repair and maintenance. There wasn't anything I had for him that he couldn't do and do well. The bang for your buck with him his the best I've experienced in 15 years of using handymen in the Phoenix area. My prior handyman recently retired and Derek was happy to match his rates and pick up where he left off.

Kitchen cabinet pulls installed by James and helper… some of my pulls were bended or forced into a drill hole measured by the installers. Some pulls were not installed with the correct measurements where on adjoining doors you could some were angled and mismeasured incorrectly. Very upset that I paid thousands of dollars for new cabinets to have mediocre work done that costed me than I paid for. Work was done 2/22/2022.

After a recent service call I recommend Gary. I called Gary the handyman guy and he answered right away. He also arrived just a couple hours later as promised at a tenants home to work on several issues surrounding a clogged drain and garbage disposal without power. He did a great job and quickly. Tenant was very happy and so was I! I will be calling him the next time I need his services.

Shawn came to give me a quote on a few odd jobs I needed done but instead of listening to what I needed, he started to argue with me about how to get what I wanted done. He couldn't do anything that day even-tho it was only 9am. He made an appointment for 2 days away and said he would text me a quote. Appointment day came and went. No quote no Shawn, not even a call to say the job was too hard.....nothing. Don't waste your time with this loser.

Sean completed a variety of repairs on our home including drywall, paint, plumbing, and electrical. He made himself available on very short notice and completed the work on time for a very reasonable price. He was prompt, communicative and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with his work. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with him in the future and would recommend him emphatically.

I'm a pretty handy gal but needed some assistance installing a toilet in my guest bathroom upstairs. I cames came in and had installed super quick and hauled away my old toilet. Super happy girl over here!! I was looking for a handyman for awhile and he will be my go-to handyman the next time I need help.

This week I had John Surkus from Arizona Maintenance Service come over to put together a new ceiling fan and install it, as well attend to a few other items around the house. Our appointment was for 8:00AM and he showed up at 8:00AM on the dot. When does that ever happen? John came in and did a quick walk through with me to go over my “punch list”. Beside the ceiling fan, I needed a recessed puck light repaired, an electrical outlet replaced, and my spare bathroom’s toilet fixed. After the walkthrough, John gave me a very fair estimate and asked if I wanted the work done immediately or wanted to schedule a more convenient time. I decided to get it all handled during this visit and he happily obliged. Now, I am one of those type of people that like to learn how to do things myself and John picked up on that. He did not seem to mind having me around and asking questions throughout the repairs and installations. He explained each step he was working on when I was “hanging over his shoulder” and did so with a smile. I really appreciated that. He was able to complete all of the work in a timely manner and did exactly what was expected. John was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and displayed true professionalism. All in all, it was a great experience and I feel very comfortable in recommending John and Arizona Maintenance Service for your “handyman” needs.

I called to schedule for a flooring jod they schedule me for the wrong day. I called the representative she said that she texted me NEVER did I received a text. very disappointed in this company
