These guys are great across the board and Patrick in particular did an amazing job with several large drywall repairs.

They were on time to give an estimate, explained the work required well, quoted me a fair price, were on time to do the work, kept our house clean while doing the work, and made some difficult drywall repairs absolutely disappear in to the original surrounding wall.

I would absolutely hire these guys, Patrick in particular, back for more work if I were to need it.

Mike and his team did an amazing job extending unused floor-space, to make an office for us in our condo. They also added LED lighting to our home and did an excellent job. On top of that, the team was even able to add a baby-gate, as well as attaching a shelf to a wall for us. Besides the superb work, everyone was commutative, neat and meticulous. We will not hesitate to use Arizona Maintenance Service in the future!

I was able to schedule my routine repairs within a week of my call. Jesse arrived on time and successfully recalibrated my shower cartridges as well as repaired my shower door. He also fixed a loose piece of floor molding. I was very pleased and will use them again.

I called John at Arizona Maintenance Service last week to get an estimate to have my back fence painted and a stucco repair on my roof. John scheduled Patrick to come to my home and give an estimate a few days later.

Patrick arrived as scheduled and carefully evaluated the two projects explaining what would be done and how the work would be performed. He was extremely knowledgeable, confident in what he was explaining, and made me very comfortable that had the expertise to do the work.

The job was scheduled for the following week (today, 10/22/2020) and Patrick was on time and immediately began to do the work. It quickly became obvious that Patrick is very experienced and knows exactly what he is doing. His professionalism, attitude, and the energetic way he approached the work was exceptional. He answered all of my many questions without hesitation and, after the job was completed, walked me through each part of the work to ensure that I was totally satisfied - which I was!

Arizona Maintenance Service is a well run company and Patrick, in particular, is an exceedingly talented and very experienced craftsman. The high ratings and reviews the company enjoys are well deserved. I will be using them, and specifically Patrick, in the future for home projects I cannot do myself.

We had new windows installed and needed some drywall damage repaired. Patrick arrived promptly and from the moment he walked in the door his work ethic and professionalism was excellent, plus, he had a great sense of humor and was enjoyable to have in our home. Patrick was great! I love that the company calls when they are headed to your house and gives you a realistic time frame of when they will arrive. Patrick called at 7:30 and told me he would be there about 8-8:06 am and he was right on time. He completed all the work in a timely manner and did a great job. John is amazing, and I always enjoy having him make repairs in our home. John is impressive with his handy work and is always timely and diligent. We are extremely pleased with the service provided by John at Arizona Maintenance Services. I have a running list for him, and he has done everything from repairing a ceiling fan to installing a fan, changing out light fixtures, hanging pictures/mirrors to replacing the bottom cabinet boards that had water damage. We have been told that our kitchen sink was dropping (probably from not being installed properly in the first place), but John was the first person who actually came up with a solution to actually fix it. You can't go wrong with Arizona Maintenance Services.

Eric came over and gave me a quote which I agreed to. Couple weeks later he had a brand new slab door installed for our closet! He cut it to size, painted it, and then installed it. Eric was extremely professional, understanding, and very helpful.

I recently booked carpentry service with AMS. Carpenter John Surakus came to my home on time. He brought help with him. They completed some carpentry work in my garage in preparation for installation of a new garage door. They installed new support beams supporting my backyard overhang. They also fixed some cabinetry. John and his co-worker arrived on time, completed the work in a timely and proficient manner and were respectful of me, my family and my home. Project was completed as promised. Cost was reasonable. I will have other work to be done. I certainly will be calling upon John and Arizona Maintenance Service. Well done

This week I had John Surkus from Arizona Maintenance Service come over to put together a new ceiling fan and install it, as well attend to a few other items around the house. Our appointment was for 8:00AM and he showed up at 8:00AM on the dot. When does that ever happen? John came in and did a quick walk through with me to go over my “punch list”. Beside the ceiling fan, I needed a recessed puck light repaired, an electrical outlet replaced, and my spare bathroom’s toilet fixed. After the walkthrough, John gave me a very fair estimate and asked if I wanted the work done immediately or wanted to schedule a more convenient time. I decided to get it all handled during this visit and he happily obliged. Now, I am one of those type of people that like to learn how to do things myself and John picked up on that. He did not seem to mind having me around and asking questions throughout the repairs and installations. He explained each step he was working on when I was “hanging over his shoulder” and did so with a smile. I really appreciated that. He was able to complete all of the work in a timely manner and did exactly what was expected. John was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and displayed true professionalism. All in all, it was a great experience and I feel very comfortable in recommending John and Arizona Maintenance Service for your “handyman” needs.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting John Surakus. My husband and I had multiple jobs in our home and home-based dog training business that needed the skill set of a professional. John was wonderful to work with and took the time to listen to my laundry list of thoughts and questions. There’s nothing more disrespectful to the lady of the house than to be dismissed. John S was wonderful at trouble shooting our keyless door lock. He was knowledgeable, kind and efficient. I would strongly recommend Arizona Maintenance Service for your repair needs. Also, contacting their office was painless.... no long hold and I got a live person ....and not a machine. They were able to take care of my needs within 24 hours, and came promptly within the time window they provided. These little things are huge when you are a busy individual, and I will never hesitate in calling for my minor repair needs.

Zero stars!! On 8/16/21, John S. from AZ Maintenance Service came to my home to provide a service estimate. John S. acted like a big shot the moment he walked in, stating I'm $125 an hour!, which he is not (as he is an EMPLOYEE), and this rate is what HIS EMPLOYER charges. As to the purpose of the consult, John S. falsely claimed that only two companies in the entire valley are able to trim solid core doors down to be installed, a claim that was later refuted by other handymen which I've consulted, one of which is currently installing them. John S. suddenly went into a full-on temper tantrum in my home when a gentleman (who happened to be at my home that day working on a project) asked him two basic questions about providing an estimate for their work. John huffed and puffed and yelled why am I being interrogated!?, and stormed out of my house yelling (and walked through a room he was not given permission to go into, so he could get to the door without walking past the other man). I, nor the two other guests I had present in my home at the time, have ever seen such a childish spectacle from a service person with such a fragile ego. I wonder if there's any nepotism going on in this company that allows John S. to get away with his childish behavior in customer's homes?? I left 3 voicemails asking for a call from John S.'s boss, noting in the last one that I would post the matter in online reviews if he doesn't call back to discuss John's behavior. **If his boss decides to call me and to right this situation, I will consider removing this online review.**

Our in-wall air conditioning unit recently stopped working and Patrick installed our new unit. Overall, our experience was extremely positive. Scheduling the repair was easy and they were able to accommodate our schedule. Patrick was professional and courteous. Very good first impressions. The office team is very polite and nice to talk with. Was set up for a later afternoon appointment. I was on a call back list if an earlier time became available. They called me back and arrived 2 hour earlier.
BRENDON call me and showed up right on time. Very polite, friendly and professional. He looked things over and asked a few questions and got right to work. Finished my dryer vent replacement and dry wall repair in a very timely fashion. Good price too, includes parts and labor. He Also fixed a washer hose leak.
WOW! He even cleaned up after himself.

They came to my home took measurements for garage and closet cabinets and some small plumbing, but never gave a quote. The owner said he'd have the rep respond and the rep never did. I text for the rep to call me he never did. This was a fairly sizable job, go figure.

I just couldn't get my flagpole bracket to stay attached; came loose again after Memorial Day Weekend. I contacted Arizona Maintenance Service to come out for an estimate; I called them as they did outstanding work for me back in 2017.
My Tech, Ryan A., knocked promptly at 10:00 am and proceeded with an estimate for the job. I gave the green light and know I have a flagpole bracket installed so well that my house will fall down before it comes out. Well Done Ryan!

John has been a total lifesaver for our family! My husband, 3 kids and I moved into our new home 2 months ago. We had a LOOOOONG list of 'to do's around the new house, but also wanted time to enjoy the summer as a family. John came over, ran through the to do list in about a tenth of the time it would have taken us, and everything looked perfect! As soon as the next list was ready, we called him back over - again, got through the list efficiently, professionally, and quickly (without sacrificing quality workmanship!). I called the office and made an appointment for someone to come pour a shower pan. They sent someone out to measure and I scheduled the appointment. I took a day off from work to be home for the person to come do the work. He was 2 hours late. He came to the house and looked around and said he needed to go to Home Depot. He then called me from Home Depot to tell me that the pan was not in and that the only size they had was bigger than what I wanted but that was gonna cost $200 more. I met him at Home Depot where I discovered that my order to have a shower pan poured had somehow been changed to them ordering a pre-fab fiberglass pan. I explained that that was not what I had requested and that we are going to tile the shower therefore I cannot use a prefab pan.

The man went out to his truck and called his office who then said that they could do what I asked but that it would be the following week before they could do it. I explained that was unacceptable as I had someone else coming to hang concrete board the very next day based on my appointment with them to have the pan done.

They finally agreed after quite of bit of arguing that they would do the work on Saturday the way I had originally requested.

Now comes Saturday and my appointment was at 8:00. At 8:30 I get a call from the worker saying that he had overslept but that he would come. 3 hours later he arrived.

Now the pan is in and it seems to be a good. When the tech left he had me sign something saying the work was done and advised I would receive an email w/ a link to pay. Sure enough, Monday morning I received a link w/ a bill marked Past Due. I called the Manager John and asked why my invoice was marked past due. He stated that is just their system. I also asked if he had received my message about the tech being 3 hours last on Saturday and he said yes... Sorry about that. That was it.

They screwed up my original order; Their tech was 2 hours late the first time; I lost a day of work because they screwed up the ticket and could not do the work they were supposed to do on the day they had it scheduled; rescheduled and the guy was 3 hours late and then I got a past due invoice and the best I could get was a sorry about that.

Be cautious using this company. The end result was pretty good but getting there was a real headache and they take no responsibilities for their mistakes!

John did a wonderful job on our home repairs and at a reasonable price. And the work he did looks great! We will definitely be using them again! Thank u!

Ryan was amazing all around. He worked quickly to help me with the projects I needed help with and was very knowledgeable. He was friendly and all around a pleasure to be around. I wanted my home to feel a little better and he understood and made sure it happened.

John came out and installed two floating shelves for us that are doubling as small writing counters. He was very honest and up front about what could and couldn't be done with the hardware we had, what they had to offer to accomplish our goals, etc. On time, courteous, and swift with the job, we were very happy with the service.

Patrick Dorsey is a professional craftsman. He did a great job repairing our pocket door. Pocket doors are tedious and time consuming, but Patrick had the skill and patience to replace the track, repair the frame, cut and repair the drywall. I would highly recommend Patrick and can't thank him enough.

In 40 years of home ownership I have employed many Handymen. Patrick is the most outstanding professional, with a range of professional talents, that I have ever had the pleasure, and the luck of retaining his services.
My project was a custom design of upgrading a small Casita attached to my home and converting it into a very livable unit for future guests, and eventually for my son. I originally felt I would have to arrange for several handymen. First person, a general handyman to remove a 40-year old AC unit from the outside storage area, and its air handler from a room in the patio. Second person, an electrician to get power to the Window AC, and custom-wise, to create a power outlet on the casita closet wall, Third, another handyman, carpenter-type to cut a hole in the wall to install/mount the window AC unit, arrange for the power connection, and then, probably # four person, a real carpenter-type to do the finish mounting of the Window AC unit, and frame it nicely on the wall in the casita, and then to cut a hole in the door to the space that holds the water-heater and the Window AC. Then, to cover the hole in the door with a tasteful screen, with aesthetically cut and painted framing, so the AC unit would get air to operate.
Well, Patrick did it all, with a great attitude and more professionally than I have ever experienced. I take my hat off to him. It took 3 weeks to schedule someone to come do an estimate and then they didn't call or show up. They showed up the next day after hours after I had left for work and then was rude to my wife because I was gone. She told the man to call me but he didn't. And that afternoon they email me saying the service is complete and please give us reviews. Well here is your review. These people are the worst customer service I have seen.
Rude and dishonest is what we encountered.

AZ Maintenance Service has helped me tackle many honey do projects that allows me to play more golf. Patrick has been great the few times he has been over the house installing selves, toilets, fixing various other items. He has always been professional and tidy.

Patrick was great! He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He installed two chandeliers, a towel rack and a mirror frame and did a great job on all. I highly recommend him and plan to use him in the future for additional jobs.

This company, was not upfront. They charged for the 2 hour lunch taken and the handyman said he couldn't take it off. Then I offered to get the brackets he needed and he said no it's Okay ... I will go. That's when he disappeared for 2 hours exactly. Then he tried leaving 15 mi items early and I had to ask him to work 15 more minutes. I will never use this company again and nor would I recommend them. It seems they will try anything to inflate the bill. It’s really deplorable.

The technician was Patrick who was very nice. He explained how he was going to do the job step by step so I could understand. The job took 2 days and he was on time, very clean and neat in his work and we were very pleased.

Jeff worked on my home and he is great! I had a very odd repair needed to the exterior of my home, and this was the only company that was actually willing to do the job. I am very satisfied with Jeff's work, and will definitely use this company again.

I had a block wall repaired April 8 by Lee. Part of this wall had separated and bowed, and had to be dismantled. This was work was heavy and somewhat difficult, but Lee did an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time and it looks great now. I had contacted a few contractors, but Arizona Maintenance was the only company interested in doing a small job like this.I would have them again if needed. .

I bought a home here in Phoenix 8 years ago & have since gone through an uphill struggle trying to find a reputable handyman service. Finally AZ Maintenance has met that need. They have it all-the do it all.
The service men are polite, prompt & skilled. Stanley went well above & beyond through to the completion of a difficult job, never complaining or acting irritated. I'm having them come out again for another job.

Great service and a very knowledgeable staff helped make our early morning stress disappear once the repairs were completed. The service may be great but the I just witnessed one of their vans driving at least 70 mph in a 45 zone. The were heading south on Cave Creek Rd. on 10/23 at 7:40 a.m. They were weaving in and out of traffic.... was a very dangerous situation and whoever was driving that van should be fired.

Tom installed our ceiling fan and did a great job! I would recommend them for any home service repair big or small.
