Even though we are renting, Americo at NorthStar Plumbing was amazing. Our home’s external plumbing from the meter to the house was leaking. I was recommended Northstar by a good friend and am very happy with the service. Was able to schedule an appointment the day after I saw my water bill and realized that I had a leak somewhere. Americo was able to zero in on the leak very quickly despite it being underground and repair it. He was very knowledgeable and professional and even noticed I had grubs eating my grass and gave me tips on how to get rid of them. He also told me how to appeal any large charges SAWS might hand me on my next water bill and emailed me before and after pictures along with the the receipt. Would highly recommend his service.

Americo is the best. I had a water heater issue and was concerned about the equipment's integrity, but he checked it out, fixed the problem quickly, and even flushed pipes to be sure there wasn't something else contributing to my problems. My water heater went out and after coming to diagnose the issue, Americo was prompt in contacting my property manager and got the approval to install a new water heater. He worked with my schedule and even though it was late, he stayed until the water heater was in. He is professional and a very hard worker. Americo is a very skilled plumber but what sets him apart is his behavior and positive attitude. He came out to fix our water heater that had broken down and worked pretty late on a Saturday to replace it when he realized that my wife was pregnant and he wanted to make sure that she was comfortable in the winter. After calling several other plumbing companies, Northstar plumbing was the only one who was available to come out within an hour of me calling. I ended up having to cancel that initial appointment (for personal reasons) and they made it really easy for me to reschedule for later that week. Americo showed up to the scheduled appointment early and took his time to evaluate and explain the work he would have to do under my kitchen sink. He had the job done in about an hour and a half. He was very professional and even agreed to a flexible payment plan for the service which was very helpful! I would use Northstar Plumbing again and would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.

Americo was tremendous. Responded quickly on a Sunday night. He explained what he was doing at every stage of the process and was able to diagnose the problem and comeUp with a plan of action to resolve it. The service provided by The Plumbing Connection was outstanding. Our plumber, Americo, was very professional and thorough. We had a hot water heater break, and from the moment of inspection to the installation of the new heater, Americo kept us educated and informed as to why it broke, getting a replacement, and proper maintenance. Americo even came out on a Holiday Weekend to install the new heater to ensure my family wasn't without hot water, he went above and beyond. I woke up to a puddle of water on my carpet near my bathroom, when I called my property manager he sent Americo my way. He was very understanding with my situation and met me after I got off work. He stayed until he was able to find the problem and got it fixed. I am truly grateful for his patience and understanding and his wonderful service. My restroom was leaking and my property manager had sent a plumber that came out for 2 days and was not able to fix or find the issue . They redirect my issue to Northstar Plumbing where i spoke to Americano who called me promptly and we discussed briefly my issue over the phone . He got here when he said he was , very polite and worked his magic within 10-20 mins . Involved me in everything he was doing and gave great advise. Definitely recommend!

It has been the second time that I received services for different issues by Americo Chapo from Northstar Plumbing. He is wonderful, incredibly polite, fast, fixes issues reliably, explains what he is doing and actually exceeded my expectations.Our rental was flooded due to a blocked pipe, leaving inches of water all over the main floor. America came out in the late evening 10 pm and fixed it, and we haven't had any issues since (4 months later). Today he came out to fix our leaking toilet and defective garbage disposal and provided an excellent service as always. I would definitely recommend the company but ask for Americo Chapo! Thank you

From the freeze, a pipe froze over and burst. We had to have the water turned off for a few days until the roads were safe to travel on. Americo came out to help us with our problem. Our water heater broke last week and our landlord sent Northstar Plumbing to our house. The technician, Mr. Americo Chapa was phenomenal. It took him several hours to complete the work but he did it with a great attitude and patience, plus he was very professional and paid attention to every single detail. Recently discovered a leak in our laundry room ceiling. Americo came out to our home late Saturday evening after working another job when he could have easily waited until Monday. He quickly isolated the source and discovered a pinhole leak in the supply line as a result of forcing it to bend out of its limit. Americo was fast, efficient, effective and professional. His attention to detail saved us thousands in potential damage. If ever there is a plumbing need, he will be the first one I call!

Me and my wife came home late at night to find water shooting out of a broken pipe in my back yard. It was already late and after calling several plummers only one was willing to come out and help. The company is great! I am renting so we had to go through the process of getting the water heater approved through my property management company but I recieved a call as soon as they got the work order and they kept me up to date with what was going on. Once the repair was approved they were quick to get back to me about scheduling the repair. They came out on a Saturday to replace my water heater and Americo was done very quickly. He was vary professional and answered all of my questions (and I ask a lot of questions). I would use this company again and refer them to anyone who needed plumbing services.

My family and I recently moved to San Antonio since my husband retired from the Air Force. If anyone has ever done a military move, they will tell you how hectic it can be.. well our move was a bit hectic, as we end up having to move into a rental house for the time being. Along with the move being hectic, we had several issues in the house. One of the issues we had, was not having cold water in our showers. Requests has been sent out for each issue, and two of the issues were fixed immediately. The cold water issue was one of the two that had an immediate response. Americo from North Star plumbing called us that evening and asked to come by the next morning. He was on time, and found the problem immediately. He would have fixed the problem right then and there on the same day, but authorization from our home owner would have to be given for him to perform the work needed to be done. Americo tried his best to fix the problem without having the work become a huge project. Since his methods were not enough, it came to Americo coming back the next day having to cut the walls in order to clear out a rock and calcium build up out of the cold water pipe. The pipe was tremendously clogged. Throughout the process, Americo was VERY informative, professional, kind, polite, and had our issue fixed immediately. He cleaned up after himself, and our water is running even better than he expected. I would highly recommend Americo and his company, because they are persistent, professional, polite, personal, and their work is completed as quickly, neat, and thorough as possible. I have 4 children, one of the children is a one year old toddler, and not having cold water was torcher!! Thank you so much North Star and Americo for the quick response, and thorough job, so we all can shower comfortably!!

Americo came to our home due to water pouring out of the bottom of our house at 4:00pm on the day we called (Monday). He stayed until 9:30pm to fix the leak and restore our water. He returned the next day to patch up the slab that he had to drill into to. He then came back on Thursday at 8:00pm because we called about our water pressure which he took care of and explained the reason for the issue. Then and only then did he collect payment for the work that he did. He was kind, courteous and extremely patient even at that time of the night. It was a total pleasure to have him in our home. We will definitely be using his services again. We highly recommend this company.

Had a main line water leak and Americo was the only one that could get out to us . It was late and he still came out on the weekend and it was raining . Got everything fixed and even waited till the pipe glue dried and made sure there was no more leaks . Highly recommend this company to anyone with plumping needs .

Had a nasty, smelly kitchen sink drainage problem, rendering kitchen virtually unusable, Americo was able to come same day, run a “snake” many feet into drain line, clearing two clogs. He also repaired small leak in old, corroded galvanized pipe under sink (somebody at sometime had plugged a hole wth black goop!). This leak was also emitting sewer gases.Mysterious odor of house is gone, drain running and I am happy camper! Will use him again.
