Best Regular Maintenance in Phoenix AZ

We had Straight Line Landscaping do our backyard, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. From the designer Holly, to the entire crew, it was a wonderful experience. They started the project and didn't quit till it was done. Everything was just as clean or cleaner when they were finished. I would recommend them to anyone. Really disappointed with AMS. Have had them for the last ~2 years. Initial crew started off well and then started skipping areas in the yard, reported service that wasn't done, etc. I called the company, provided pics of the unserviced yard, and they said they would take care of it. A new crew showed up the following week. The new crew was great for a few months, then they started slacking off as well. One day I looked at our doorbell cam to see why there was debris all over the front yard after their service. It showed a guy standing in the middle of the grass and spinning around, in one place, blowing the grass and leaves everywhere. He didn't move from that spot. He, nor anyone else did anything else to clean it up. He simply stopped, and left. It was hilarious....except it left my yard a mess.

I again called the company and they said they would take care of it. Yet another crew started up. These guys would come in and be gone in half the time as all the prior crews. They would leave our gates open. They left piles of trimmings in the yard, they'd leave weeds everywhere, and they'd use a riding lawn mower (no other crew had before) on our 100 sq foot of front yard grass. When I asked about all of this, including the request that they not spin circles in my tiny little grass area (it looks like someone spun doughnuts in my grass...and it lasts for several weeks) they told me that it would cost more to NOT use the riding mower...for the extra time it takes, despite this crew being there half as long as their prior crews for the last 18 months.

Additionally, part of the weekly package we pay for has weekly weeding. We have had them for 2 years now. When I asked about them getting the weeds that started growing in our granite rocks during their oversight...they want to charge more (near $250!) for a weed clean up....because the weeds haven't been cleaned up....by them....despite getting charged for it every week.

These guys claim to be a sign up and forget about it service and that they do everything. We paid for their most inclusive package and paid for weekly service to keep things looking really nice. Unfortunately, despite trying to work with them for 2 years, they are not worth it. Terrible consistency, extremely transient employees, and no care for a quality job.

If you want some hilarious video of a yard worker doing their best to not care, or you like your yard to look natural (ie. you let nature do it's own thing), and you like to watch money burn....then AMS is your landscape company. If you have any expectations....at all...then look elsewhere.

We have not. By the time you answered me back, I hired someone and they came and gave me a quote. A business that doesn't answer phone calls and takes that long to get back is pretty frustrating. I needed to speak to a live person or be contacted within an hour at least. Its just professional to do so. I am a business owner and my customers are important to me. Then when you did call, you said yeah did you call this number?, well of course I did and left a message about it too. The way I would have done it is Hello my name is Victoria and I received a message from this number about our service. How may I help you? So you have a good day Big Nick's phone person. No dispespect but I have no idea who you are because you never communicated that at all

I have been with Victor's for over three years now. Their work is always thorough and top notch. Victor's always exceeds expectations. My desert landscaping never fails to get compliments from neighbors but especially from passers by. Victor's takes care not only of the appearance of the yard but also regularly inspect the irrigation system to make sure it is working properly. Victor's Landscaping is the total package!

We've used these guys several times over the past couple years and have been mostly happy with their work. This past Thursday was another story entirely. The crew stole items I had placed outside for cleaning, heck, they WATCHED me clean these and still chose to take them. When I noticed them missing, I immediately called Sergio and asked if they'd taken them. He said yes, he could see them and they'd be returned to us the next morning. My husband called him Friday morning to find out when they'd be by (they took my birds travel cages. We move TODAY - Saturday!) as their decision severely impacted our plans and ability to properly transport our birds. After several un-returned messages, I finally informed Sergio's message service that I was stopping payment on the check I'd given them and filing a police report for theft. Sergio called me fairly quickly after that and said that they'd never had the cages, argued with me that there was nothing he could (more like would) do. He had nothing to say for himself when I reminded him he'd told me he could see the cages. When I told him of the stopped payment and my intent to call the police, he merely replied ok which seemed very weird to me.

As a result of this theft, we are seriously behind in our moving preparations and have endured stress that could have been avoided by his crew doing the right thing (they could have asked if I was getting rid of them to start, for instance... I could have told them no!) and returning our property.

Use extreme caution if you opt to use them. Inspect your property and perhaps their trailer prior to paying them. It was funny, I had a nice tip waiting for each of the crew members as this was to be our last visit from them. I've always overlooked their issues with timeliness as they did a decent job and felt an extra thank you was necessary. At the very last minute I felt uneasy and didn't give them the cash I'd planned to. Thankful that uneasy feeling hit me, as that cash goes to start replacing what they've stolen.

EDITED 7/27: Amazingly, three hours after I posted this review... I walk out into my garage to see Sergio. Standing next to my birds carriers that magically appeared. The ones his guys couldn't have possibly taken! Due to his BS, our move was delayed. This cost us additional money in trailer rentals, pet sitting, etc. His nonsense also required us to make an extra FIFTEEN HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY and more stress than I can tell you. This theft caused a snowball effect of our entire move. All because he/his employees cannot tell the truth or do the right thing until a horrible Google review is made.

Avoid at all costs. Or lock up all of your stuff so his employees don't have the ability to steal your belongings! I've warned everyone in my neighborhood (as well as all surrounding neighborhoods) of this theft and the inability to believe a word Sergio says via Nextdoor. Spare yourself and find another landscape company!

Desert Sunview did an exceptional job on my recent back yard project. They went over and above in every aspect of the project. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing landscape work.thanks....

Didn't do work they quoted to do for weekly service, even after complaints. Left gate open on multiple occasions causing pets to get out. Broke three sprinkler heads and gave no notice.

Great place to work for been here 6 months

I have used them for years. Now that my account manager is one of the owners (a son who inherited) my yard looks terrible. I have given them countless opportunities to fix it, but forget it. They are even raising their rates AGAIN!

So done with this company!

Incomplete and disappointing results. Came out to maintain yard but didn't do good job though charged extra for longer project noting it needed it in quote. Left behind over growth, weeds and clippings while not attending to other plants and trees. In our frustration set up meeting next day to discuss our concerns and didn't show up. Forgot. Disappointing and frustrating experience. Need to hire someone else to finish.
