I normally never bother to write reviews, but I have to share what was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to warn others of how they may get treated.

In April 2018, I paid in full for Chris to put together plans for my rather large back yard. Contacting him is an extreme pain - do not bother calling their business number as you will get connected with someone who seems like they could care less about your concerns. I emailed Chris roughly 15 times over the past 5 months and called countless times to try to get updates on blown deadlines, which there were 4 of them and countless excuses.

He eventually agreed to come meet at my house to try to right things and talk details of the plan, which came out to be incorrect twice (probably because there was such a long gap between the meeting and when he sent me the next drawing).

Finally in September of 2018, after missing the deadline for the 'final plan' twice, he sends me a drawing with no dimensions, no renderings, no estimates, and no water/power/gas line configurations like I had asked for. When I asked him about it - the drawing is 'to scale'. Now nobody can do any work without converting the plot plans to what a PDF hopefully correctly converts tiny measurements to.

All of this to say, I highly warn anyone who doesn't have money in hand (do not pay in full before the job is done, or this may happen to you too) for a specific job and dimensions ready to go to work with Lone Star. They really need to work on their communication and committing to promises. I am now out almost $2,000 with no workable plan. I am hoping they will now bother to call me and correct this imbalance.

Sal completely redid our irrigation system, both in the front and back of the house, and installed 900 square feet of sod. He communicated throughout the whole process, finished the job earlier than planned, and did an amazing job at a good price. He even checked in on me a few days later to see how the sod was doing. Don't hesitate to do business with Sal!

I have had trouble with reliable landscapers. I saw them during my neighbours l (which looks amazing) and asked if they would work on my front and back lawns. There was a lot that needed to be done. They fixed my Irrigation, cleaned up the crazy jungle I had going on up front and gave me really pretty grass like my neighbours. I also like that they invoice you and you just click a Botton to pay them. Nice and easy. My last guy I had to pay cash.

I contacted Ivan and his team in December of 2019 to see about removing a massive tree from my back patio condo. Prior to hiring him, I had two other guys come out and bid on the job. One told me it would take 16 hours and another was afraid to even touch the job. But Century West Landscaping was up for the task. The guys came out in January 2020 and cut the tree down in 4 hours! I have another tree that is about the same height and needs to be removed again. I'll be calling Century West again to cut that tree down and eventually grind the stumps down so I fix my patio up the way I need it to be. Thanks Ivan and team!

Excellent service from the first appointment (arrived on time and on the day promised) Gave me a quote and they started fairly quickly. Job was done in 4 days and I love everything about it. Quick, reliable, and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended

As an absentee owners we are very pleased with how well Victor's Landscaping maintains our lawn,scrubs and trees. If they recommend pruning or replacing something and I don't know what it is, they will send me a picture for my approval. They are very prompt in responding to any concerns we have.

We've used these guys several times over the past couple years and have been mostly happy with their work. This past Thursday was another story entirely. The crew stole items I had placed outside for cleaning, heck, they WATCHED me clean these and still chose to take them. When I noticed them missing, I immediately called Sergio and asked if they'd taken them. He said yes, he could see them and they'd be returned to us the next morning. My husband called him Friday morning to find out when they'd be by (they took my birds travel cages. We move TODAY - Saturday!) as their decision severely impacted our plans and ability to properly transport our birds. After several un-returned messages, I finally informed Sergio's message service that I was stopping payment on the check I'd given them and filing a police report for theft. Sergio called me fairly quickly after that and said that they'd never had the cages, argued with me that there was nothing he could (more like would) do. He had nothing to say for himself when I reminded him he'd told me he could see the cages. When I told him of the stopped payment and my intent to call the police, he merely replied ok which seemed very weird to me.

As a result of this theft, we are seriously behind in our moving preparations and have endured stress that could have been avoided by his crew doing the right thing (they could have asked if I was getting rid of them to start, for instance... I could have told them no!) and returning our property.

Use extreme caution if you opt to use them. Inspect your property and perhaps their trailer prior to paying them. It was funny, I had a nice tip waiting for each of the crew members as this was to be our last visit from them. I've always overlooked their issues with timeliness as they did a decent job and felt an extra thank you was necessary. At the very last minute I felt uneasy and didn't give them the cash I'd planned to. Thankful that uneasy feeling hit me, as that cash goes to start replacing what they've stolen.

EDITED 7/27: Amazingly, three hours after I posted this review... I walk out into my garage to see Sergio. Standing next to my birds carriers that magically appeared. The ones his guys couldn't have possibly taken! Due to his BS, our move was delayed. This cost us additional money in trailer rentals, pet sitting, etc. His nonsense also required us to make an extra FIFTEEN HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY and more stress than I can tell you. This theft caused a snowball effect of our entire move. All because he/his employees cannot tell the truth or do the right thing until a horrible Google review is made.

Avoid at all costs. Or lock up all of your stuff so his employees don't have the ability to steal your belongings! I've warned everyone in my neighborhood (as well as all surrounding neighborhoods) of this theft and the inability to believe a word Sergio says via Nextdoor. Spare yourself and find another landscape company!

The company was hired by the homeowner to replace an irrigation valve. We discovered that the valve was leaking and asked them to go back and repair it. They went to the property, claimed the valve wasn't leaking and charged me a trip charge of $62. I went to the property, took a picture of the valve spraying water and sent it to them. They refuse to look at the video and want to charge me to go back to the property to check it again. I would never recommend a company with this kind of customer service policy.

They made a great,quick clean up of a long neglected yard!

Our front and back yard always look great when they are done. They have repaired multiple leaks quickly and for a good price.

Grading not done properly. Was promised 2 inches worth of gravel but I can literally see soil patches. Tamping was not done properly and there are parts where the soil has collapsed and multiple holes are showing up. Would not recommend, really unhappy.

This is the best company I have ever worked for by far. Tim, Lara and Julie are very passionate with there skills and care about the employees and the quality of work. Thank you all for everything.

Only know how to butcher nice trees and bushes till dead. Workers are rude and inconsiderate around residents Vehicles. Main tool used is Leaf (dust) blower Sending everything onto private patios. Over trimming bushes and trees killing them or not repairing sprinkler system providing water to them. Seem like as soon as the foliage is blooming the trim all the flowers and blooms off.

Botanists of the Valley and the owner Luis went the extra mile to do an incredible job on the installation of the artificial turf for the safety surfacing for our playground. This required multiple cuts and seams which are invisible. The turf sits flat with no bubbles or ripples and looks so inviting for the children to play on. They also put quarter minus around the outside which they pounded into a smooth path to help keep mud from being tracked into the playground area. The Botanists and Luis are certainly dedicated to doing a professional and exceptional job! They were also the best price around! We are so glad someone had recommended them to us and we had decided to use their services!

The techs assigned to McDowell village were very rude on 4/13. I was eating my lunch outside because it was nice out. The workers came by with leaf blowers and didn't seem to care they were blowing dust and leaves at me while I was sitting on a bench. Not very good service if you ask me.

ABC Scapes is contracted by our HOA for landscaping services. I have bushes totally blocking my 1st floor windows that haven’t been trimmed in months. ABC employee shows up with a hand pruner to trim a 8 X 10 bush. I sent them photos of the bush so they should have known what equipment to bring.

Employee leaves and never comes back. I have left 4 messages and can not get a return call. Terrible customer service. I wish our condos would use another landscaper.

Started with a chainsaw to trim tree hangings and leaf blower at 0630 this morning... Suits the business, screw the locals eh?
