After not receiving calls back from multiple companies, I tried Harris and Sons, they were responsive, quick to provide an estimate and we booked the work within a week or so of the estimate. They came out on time and did a great job, I would definitely recommend them.

Design Tree has been exceptional from start to finish! We wanted two large mesquites planted in our front yard and after extensive research, asked for a quote from Design Tree. It was critical to us that we were dealing with certified arborists after disappointing experiences with some so-called landscapers who planted trees too deeply. We met with Nick Thiel, and his communication skills—taking the time to understand what we wanted—and his expertise sealed the deal for us. He arranged for us to check out trees at several nurseries so that we got exactly the specimens we wanted. Although it took some time for us to get scheduled due to the Design Tree workload (good for them!), they arrived precisely at the appointed date and time. The crew, led by Kener, were great. When I had some questions, Kener quickly reached out to Nick, who responded immediately and resolved everything to our satisfaction. Kener has a discerning design eye and made certain our trees were optimally positioned by the crane for each location chosen. Kener and his crew ensured the trees were planted at the correct depth, that they had large irrigation basins, that irrigation emitters were connected and working, and that the trees were fertilized, mulched, and thoroughly watered. The disturbed soil was properly contoured and regraded with crushed granite, making our yard look even better than when they started. Their clean-up was flawless; you would never know they were here were it not for the beautiful new trees in our landscape. Nick and Kener were even able to fit in some restorative pruning for one of our beloved large Museum Palo Verdes that had been hacked up without permission by yet another “landscaper.” We thought all Design Tree did was plant trees, but we learned from Kener that that is just one part of their business, so now we have reached out for a quote on refurbishing our irrigation system.

My husband and I have used this company several times to have trees trimmed and removed. The estimates that were provided were priced great and at a much better rate than some of the other companies we requested estimates from. The owner gave us his advice as to how we should handle the our tree situations and even recommended us taking a cheaper course of action as opposed to a more expensive one. He is also a certified arborist who was able to assess issues with our trees. The crew preforming the work has always been respectful and has left our property immaculate once the job has been completed. The work performed exceeded my expectations and left my property looking amazing. I would highly recommend this company.

He was very professional and his knowledge of tree biology and how to help them blew my mind. I signed up for some deep root feeding as well as tree injections and got on a health care plan so that my trees can get the continued help they need. Additionally they were upfront about base pricing. They even showed up a little early to check out our yard and did the service the same day. This is hard work you don’t find to often these days. 100 times over I would recommend.

I called because I had a pine tree that was not doing well. Debbie, the arborist came out to my property and diagnosed, mites. The technician came within a week and sprayed. My beautiful pine is on its way back. Yeah for Bartlett, they are my heros!
