I have worked for Salten Pools as an office manager since June of 2022, and I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy at a job. They hired me for my experience in invoicing, knowing I had no background in pools. They allowed me the time to get acclimated, and every question I had was answered.

They don’t micro manage, and they allow me to make decisions as a leader. I have only been employed with them for 7 months and they consider me apart of the management team. I am encouraged to voice my opinions, provide feedback, and to help grow the company. I have only worked for one other small business (family owned) and I cannot even begin to explain how vastly Salten stands out in comparison. My last job paid drastically less (I had to work 2 jobs to make ends meet), asked considerably more, and simply saw me as a $ amount on a spreadsheet. The owners of Salten (Colten & Shannon) have made it very clear from day one that they did not start this business for the money (anyone in the pool world knows it is not a lucrative industry). They saw a need for their family and friends, and that was a job that provided consistency, good compensation, flexibility, and room to grow, with a family like atmosphere. Anytime I’ve been sick, had appointments, family emergencies, etc. I have been given the day off with pay.

When I started with Salten I honestly was just desperate to find any work that allowed me to pay my bills comfortably, and didn’t leave me miserable at the end of the day. I wasn’t certain what the future held professionally, but now I can see myself with them for as long as they’ll have me.

I know we aren’t perfect (no business is), but we have the unique ability to introduce and implement changes almost immediately, and I am excited to see where we go in 2023.

Prompt. Excellent service. A little pricey.

My carpet was just filthy - lots of high-traffic dirty areas. Low-and-behold, Sam got it clean! I only have 2 carpeted rooms, so I couldn't take advantage of his Five Rooms for $80 special, so he only charged me $40 for both rooms! No ridiculous minimum charges! And, since the previous owners who installed the carpet went cheap, Sam gave me pointers on what to look for in the future when I install my own new carpet, everything from the best type of carpet fiber, to padding, to fiber guard. Thank you, Sam!

This is a very professional cleaning service, very detail oriented. Erin stayed for 6 hours and was delightful and I don't know how she stayed happy, worked hard and kept smiling. I think cleaning well is extremely hard and I appreciate Erin's hard work.

Had the best workers sent out and were able to get the job done as prompt as possible thank you crystal and cece these ladies were sent out to inspect seen the issue and made sure it was done and treated correctly so I would no longer have issues in my home love the professionalism

Searched around at a couple of places but had 2 good friends highly recommend DPF Alternatives. They were able to get me in pretty fast and the price for the service was very reasonable. Very happy with the service and communication.

They used to be fabulous! In the last 2-3 years the communication is ZERO! The service is hit or miss. I'm not sure when you complain that they're telling us the truth. The price keeps going up and performance keeps going down!

Is this place closed? This is the THIRD time this month I have tried to do my laundry and it’s locked up and nobody has ever answered the phone. Please don’t post hours if you can’t abide by them, it’s a real hassle for people to pack up all their laundry and then have to find another resource. If you are closed can you please update that. Seriously.
