We needed a concrete company to do the first home in a project-development. We reached out to Metro Concrete in a pinch, as our prior contractor backed out. They not only stepped in to complete the job, but got done ahead of what we expected them too in a last min pinch.

My wife and I own a 53 year old house here in Phoenix and as one can imagine, the driveway, garage and back patio concrete slabs were looking a tad beat up (cracks, gouges, stains, etc.). We decided it was high time to do something before it got too bad and the only option was new concrete. Did a quick Google search and Sun Valley Concrete Coatings caught my eye.

Contacted them and they responded very quickly and within a day or two, Rene was on premise and supplied us with a very reasonable quote to which we quickly agreed to (I normally get three quotes for such a major home project, but I went with my gut that was telling me Rene with Sun Valley is the way to go). They put us down for a three day work schedule a week or so out and BOOM, Rene and his crew were on-site, on-time as expected and got right to it with no messing around (they got ‘er done in two days)!

The results DEFINITELY exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with how it rejuvenated our old driveway, garage and back patio whilst significantly improving the overall “curb appeal” of the house (it no doubt has increased the overall value of the property). Rene was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had, and we had NO COMPLAINTS whatsoever. We had our pool deck ground down, repaired and coated by Galaxy Concrete Coating of Phoenix and we couldn't be happier. We definitely picked the right company to do the job. Their salesperson Michelle was awesome and their work crew was amazing to say the least and every step of the process was easy and professional. They completely transformed our old damaged pool deck and it looks better than brand new. I can't believe it's our old deck under there it looks so nice. Don't pull up your old pool deck. just use Galaxy if you are considering a pool deck remodel, they are amazing!

I had submitted an inquiry online because I am interested in replacing the flooring in my home and have no idea what the cost is, not even generally. It was my hope to have someone give me a ballpark and then come to my home for a quote. Tom Alan responded and left a voicemail. When I called him back he was unprofessional and dismissive and - it seemed - bothered by the call. First impression is critical for any business. Lost sale.

I had these guys put 125' of curbing in my front yard while I was at work. For the most part it looked pretty good. Its not the best quality concrete mix out there but I'm thinking it will hold up. The first thing I noticed when I got home was a good sized lump right in the middle of my front yard. I contacted them and was told they charge more for any prep work and that their machine will follow the ground. I then told him that if I was contacted telling me there would be a lump in my yard I would have paid to have them take 3 minutes to level out the roughly 2-3 feet of uneven ground. They would not come back to fix it without charging me more which I understand but what I don't understand is it could have taken a 20 second phone call or text to let me know and very easily taken care of.
