I needed a block wall built since my house has an alley in the back. The reviews of Charlie and his crew are spot on. He was responsive and professional from the start which gave me the confidence I needed to move forward. The work that this contractor and his team did to fix the cracks in our driveway was excellent, and they were extremely competitive. They have my highest recommendation and I would hire them again.

I have refinished concrete decks, as well had others attempt to correct the spalling on my pool deck. Sledge concrete went above my personal bar for perfection.

I dont typically leave reviews but Glendale Concrete Solutions really impressed me with their communication and execution. They walked me step by step through the process and the different options for my patio.

I live in Scottsdale and wanted a lighter color to accent the natural terrain. I also wanted the stamped concrete look for my backyard and with their experience they were able to bring my vision to life. I could not be more pleased with it.

Rick and his workers are great! They did an amazing job pouring my driveway and extending my patio area. They matched all of the original design so it looks like its been there from the beginning. Rick is an out of the box thinker and helped me solve an unusual slope area around my pool and provided me with product to fix the few cracks in my pool decking. Uncovering the pavers in the backyard opened up a whole bunch of challenges. Rick fixed them all with the future in mind preparing my patio to eliminate any future potential problems with water and electrical, which wasn't in the scope of this project. He and his team are honest, hard working, polite and with great enthusiasm I highly recommend him.

I called these guys to fix a floor that was botched by another contractor. Alan responded in a timely manner and explained what they could do to polish the floor. They left me with a shiny floor and a very happy customer. We are saving time and money on maintenance now that it's polished. I will be contacting them to do my garage next. I hired this company to put some epoxy flooring in my garage and I was very happy with their work. They showed up on time, they were professional and the garage floor epoxy job was top notch. If you are looking for an epoxy floor coating in the Phoenix area I highly recommend these guys.

They where on time , Ben takes care of everything with his machinery, we are building a new home and he’s prices for graveling where very fair compared to others, it did not make sense for us to rent the machinery and do it ourself. The other good part it’s that we found out he actually does demo and hauling too, definitely will use him again!

We had a concrete project go south on us and the finished product was sub par at best. We contacted Sun Valley and had the driveway diamond ground and polyaspartic coated. Sun Valley really saved us on this project without them our customer would have never given us a great review. I highly recommend them for any of your concrete coating needs. I used Desert Coatings (DC) to do painted concrete flooring throughout our house back in August or September of 2017. The flooring consisted of a total of approximately 1,700 square feet of flooring. The house that this work was done at was a vacation house at the time, so I wasn’t there to supervise the work when it was done. Other work was being done at the house by another contractor at the same time. Overall, the final finished floor was okay, but there were some things I wasn’t happy about.

During their install process I received a call from my general contractor that the flooring installers had gotten cement material all over the newly painted doors and baseboards. I called DC and they gave me a $700 credit to have the doors and baseboards fixed and repainted. After the flooring job was done, I came out to the house and discovered that the workers had spilled concrete in various spots on my newly painted patio cool deck. I was able to power wash some of it away, but some still remains to this day.

In a bedroom some tile had to be removed and DC had to use a self-leveling concrete to even out the floor, as well as raise a portion to make it level with the rest of the room. When I was able to come out and look at the flooring, I noticed that this area was very wavy and had bumps in some spots. I called DC and they came out and applied another coat, which improved it, but the finish still wasn’t smooth flat in the end.

In the living room they had to fill the entire room with about 2-3 inches of concrete to fill the void left by removing the existing wood underlayment that was previously used to build up the floor. Where this new poured concrete met the existing concrete, a crack developed about 6-12 months later, which caused the paint to chip away. There were a couple other cracks that developed too. I called DC and they sent someone out to fix it. The repair consisted of them applying more paint over the cracked area. The repair ended up not being flush with the rest of the finish, and the color did not match the rest of the flooring. This crack is in a prominently noticeable area of the house too.

Fast forward to 2020-2021, the crack reappeared and the paint began to crack and chip away again. I didn’t call DC right away because I still was not living in the house full time yet. After moving in full time, the chipping away became worse from walking over the area. I called DC twice in August 2022 (8/25 & 8/29), both times reaching an answering service. They said they would pass the message along and someone would call me by the next day. No one called me back. After the second call I decided to start emailing them (9/1/22). The first email response I got was that Tom Allen (the owner) was out of state that week, so I waited about two weeks and emailed them again (9/14). I received an email back (9/16) stating that they were on vacation and would call me back when they returned. I waited a month and did not receive a response, so I emailed again (10/17/22) and received no response. I emailed a final time (10/27/22) and again no response.

In addition to the above there are a few spots here and there that I wasn’t happy with – under the kitchen island (uneven finish and sheen), a few wavy uneven spots here and there throughout the house. I didn’t write a review at the time, because I just figured I’d live with it as is, but now that I can’t get a response from them, or have them come out to do the repair, I’m writing a response now.

I do not recommend and would not use Desert Coatings again (I felt this way before the lack of response, but even more so now), especially if you’re looking for a high-end finish. I have since read other reviews where they do not respond to follow up calls for repairs when needed.
