The work was good and would have gotten 4+ star review but unfortunately there was no follow through. I'm rating them two stars because once the job was completed, the final walkthrough was never happened as promised. As a result, there are some minor fixup and cleaning issues that didn't get resolved.
It has been 7 months since the job was finished. There was no response despite trying to contact the owner (Ralph) and leaving messages many times.
I wouldn't consider them for the paint job next time.

Gilbert's Painting painted the exterior of our home and we were very happy with it. They worked with our HOA approved colors and it looks good. The workers were respectful and very fast. We appreciate the job they did for us.

I hired this company to paint the entire inside of my house as well as the kitchen cabinets. They did an excellent job and I have no complaints about their painting. I highly recommend them as painters.

Unfortunately, I had a major problem with the blinds which turned out to be an awful experience for me. Because the person who hung the blinds, after painting, did not hang them in a stud, three fell. The first fell in my master bedroom and broke to pieces. I could not reuse the head so had to order the complete blind for a very large window. The second blind fell on a Sunday morning at 330am. Because I had learned from the first experience, I immediately straighten the blinds and the head. I only lost three vanes (vertical blinds). The third fell in my guest bedroom and landed on the bed. Once again, I immediately straighten them and only lost three. I honestly did not know what to do.

I called the manager of Top Star Painting. He helped me discard of blinds in my master bedroom but felt it was not their fault. Later when I contacted him to explain that it was. He flatly refused to assist me and refused to accept responsibility. Not only was this a cost I had not planned to endure but also it was very traumatic.

Someone at my church suggested Lowe's and it turned out to be a wonderful experience and not as costly as other blind companies had quoted. They did a remarkable job not only in matching my blinds but in hanging them. The pattern had changed but the color was exact. The two patterns are so closely matched it is practically impossible to tell the difference. I also had to hire a blind repair company who came out, rehung two of them and checked the other blinds to ensure they would not fall. They indicated that it was the painters. When the third blind in the guest room fell, you could see the original holes whereas with the others the holes had been filled in and it was difficult to tell. I have pictures of the original holes than the holes where they were rehung.

I rated Top Star Painting a 4 because their painting was excellent, and I would recommend them to anyone for painting only.

Tremendous detail-arranged stucco repair and diligent exterior wall prep, fill and protection of all non- painted surfaces. Did not rush job and hard working, professional and caring painters. A great experience.

Wilmar was very helpful and made sure I knew when he was coming, when he was leaving, and when he would return. He cheerfully addressed every item I brought to his attention immediately. He painted the interior of my home including trim and doors. He told me what rooms would be done each day and finished ahead of schedule. Certapro was the lowest cost bid. Excellent work, materials, and cost. Highly recommended.

We hired them twice, first to remove the popcorn ceilings in a house we just purchased and they also removed and patched all the old ceiling vents since they no longer were in service. They painted the entire interior and our kitchen cabinets.
