We highly recommend Atomic Construction. We got in over our heads with a DYI project and were unable to finish. I contacted them after business hours on a Sunday not expecting to hear back and they immediately responded with an appointment the next day. They are timely, their pricing is honest, and they were extremely communicative. On top of this incredible customer service, the work that was performed was perfect. We are in LOVE with our new floors. Without question we will be repeat customers.

Just had a great experience with ABS. The carpet looks beautiful. Great selection, good quality, fair prices superior service. They took great care to come to my house, and guide me to the right products for my situation. They delivered what they promised when they promised in a clean and efficient fashion. Reading other recent reviews of Heath and Rachel at Urban Customs not finishing jobs, and coming up with strange excuses not to finish a job is very familiar as this is exactly what happened to me. Please read below and BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO WORK WITH THIS DISHONEST COMPANY. Also see my note at the bottom regarding fraudulent advertising and the BBB...

I spent a great deal of time researching local flooring contractors who specialize in refinishing hardwood floors. After both Rachel and Heath visited my project site, they were confident that they could both improve the existing engineered hardwood and match new planks to the old floor if I was able to find the same material. I searched everywhere and was able to purchase just what we needed. Additionally, Heath was very insistent that I complete all other work in the house before he returned to install the new flooring and refinish the existing floors.

My other contractors and painters took great care to protect the floors while they worked, and after finishing their work as planned, the existing floors looked nearly identical to when we began. When Heath returned on the day we scheduled to begin the work, he suddenly decided that he no longer wanted to do the job. Furthermore, he said the whole plan was a terrible idea, and the only option he would recommend was to tear out all floors and put in vinyl plank. If I was going to pursue this option, I would have been able to choose from hundreds of local companies who only do new vinyl plank installs, and would not have waited till the end of my project to have Urban Customs perform the refinishing they agreed to.

While I spent a couple days trying to decide what new course of action to take, and get additional flooring installation bids (now that my plans were completely up in the air), Heath spent about 15 minutes in the home spraying one room to prepare for flooring and removed a couple pieces of old flooring.

I ultimately decided to discontinue with Urban Customs and I let Heath know the same, as he had changed his mind by the time it was his turn to work on the refinishing job we discussed and agreed to months ago (and I had already paid my deposit for the same). What happened next was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING... when Heath responded that night, he decided that I owed him $529.84 for the 15 minutes he spent preparing to install floors!!! No floors were actually installed, and the INSANE cost to spray for a couple minutes and remove a couple pieces of old floor were NEVER discussed with me, and if they were, I would have definitely found another company to complete this work! That comes out to nearly $2000/hr in labor!!! This money has been unfairly deducted from my deposit, and I have absolutely no recourse as this fraudulent and greedy local company has completely screwed me and essentially derailed my remodeling plans.

Note: While going back and reviewing other reviews and supposed credentials/accreditations of Urban Customs, I noticed that quite a bit of their websites and even their original estimate and contract (which they decided to back out of) list them as a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business. If you take a quick trip over to the BBB website, you will see quite clearly: Urban Customs, Flooring Contractors -- NOT BBB ACCREDITED.

BEWARE IF YOU WORK WITH THEM GIVEN THESE DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ADVERTISING.

Top notch service! We were impressed with the great job that they did. We were able to keep our original baseboards (Which they painted to look new). Mark and Daniel are very professional and I definitely will use them for our next flooring upgrade.

I have used AK Brands flooring for years, they have installed carpet, granite counter tops, tile and the latest install was waterproof LVT. An excellent experience with every job!

In my search to find wood flooring for my entire home (minus baths and laundry), I went to about 5 or 6 different vendors of many varieties. I went from several upscale locations in the Scottsdale Airpark to wholesalers. I chose European Design for many reasons. First, they had an amazing showroom with many samples. The sample floors they have laid in the store are artistry and immediately gave me a feel of their abilities. The salesperson, Andrea, was by far the most knowledgeable person I had dealt with in the flooring business. Andrea knew the entire inventory and more about the demo and installation process than anyone I had talked to. The patience she showed in sending sample after sample home with me was amazing. Also, once I had narrowed my choice down, European Design ordered me a carton of the floor and the owner, Marin, brought it to my home to insure I would be happy with it. The pricing of their floors was extremely competitive especially considering what is included at no charge (moving large furniture, carpet removal, placing felt pads under furniture). I felt I got a bargain. They do not contract out the demo and installation. They are family owned and operated. The work crew was very efficient, hard working, talented and especially neat. The owner came every day to check on the progress and insure I was pleased with the installation. I am very fussy and detail orientated and they did not let me down. Overall, it was a huge undertaking and if I did in again in another home, I would only consider European Design.

Tony and his team did our first floor tile and we are so impressed! Working with him was great, he was easy to communicate with, quick response to any questions we had. He took extra care to protect kitchen island and cabinets. We are so happy with our new floor and would highly recommend Footprints Floors. Thanks Tony!

They installed laminate flooring throughout the house. Did an excellent job, showed up when they promised they would, and cleaned up after the work. Everybody was courteous and pleasant to deal with. Great company.

Installed hardwood flooring for us. The price was fair. The project started and finished on time. We had some worries about material availability but we were kept adequately informed and in the end everything arrived on time. George the installer did a great job with the install. I have worked with other hardwood companies in the past- I wish I had found Chris and Eagle Flooring sooner. I would highly recommend.

Flat out rockstar service. I use a lot of home improvement services and I can honestly say this was one of my best experiences I have had. Everything he said he did, Eric the owner was honest, timely, concerned about my satisfaction and kind.
