We have used Hernan’s Custom Tile and Stone several times in the past 6 years. We have had tile flooring installed as well as counter-to-ceiling kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile repair, and a floor-to-ceiling layered stone living room wall. All projects are beautifully done. Arizona Hardwood Floors are our very favorite. They installed maple hardwood floor in our kitchen and family room. Initially, we were a bit hesitant with hardwood in the kitchen area but trusting their words, we gave them the green signal. Trust us guys, the result amazed us and our relatives & friends too. Every time they visit us, we receive huge comments that are all positive.

I wish I could give Jim a better score, unfortunately when it was all said and done we paid a lot of money for a mediocre job. We asked for a repair for some water damage and the damaged parts were not replaced, only about a quarter of the wood I thought he was going to replace actually got replaced. He also picked the wrong color stain and his main employee tried to tell us it was the right color stain but it obviously wasn't. We put our foot down and they finally agreed to resand and restrain it. They then put down one coat of a semi gloss finish on the whole floor and it looked excellent but the following day they returned and put the 2nd coat on, this time, for some odd reason, they put a matte finish. We assumed it would dry shiner like the first coat so we paid them and they left. The next day we realized it was a different finish and you can now see obvious streaks of semi gloss under the matte finish. Not to mention the matte finish makes our once beautiful wood floors now look dull and you can see every spot and mark. Not the experience I expected when I read the reviews and saw the quoted price. Jim is very sweet but the work is no where near the quality you would expect for the very premium price. I could have replaced all of our floors for what it will cost to get the finish corrected and for what he charged to replace about 12 square inches of wood.

We called them to come and look at our concrete floors, we were scheduled for the next morning at 9 am, we even received an email confirming our appointment and a reminder email the next morning about our appointment.
