Homework Remodels did an outstanding job of renovating our 65 year old home, which was in a state of significant disrepair when we purchased it. The remodeling required a new roof, new electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, flooring, paint, plaster, fencing... They completed the job on a tight schedule so we could move in upon the sale of our previous home.
We were kept well informed of the progress and were involved in the process.
Five years later, the repairs/upgrades made by HomeworkRemodels have stood the test of time. We are extremely satisfied with their work.

I am a not just a fan or Dion and the professionalism of his team-- I am a raving fan. We have had multiple issues with other contractors for home repairs that just weren't done properly. My house had stucco work that had been damaged by moisture and rain, ceiling work and painting from wear and tear, and interior painting and drywall work. Dion's crew genuinely cared about how clean our house needed to be, the procedures they needed to follow, the quality of service, post-repair clean up and the time frame our project needed to be completed. I would certainly hire Dion and his team as our GC in heartbeat for our home improvement needs.

The handyman replaced an existing light switch in the kitchen. The charge: $200 which I think was a sour grapes fee for not agreeing to have him install an In-wall power kit for $350 for both tasks. The handyman used my new light switch to replace the broken one - it took approx. 5 minutes total to complete the job. I was a repeat customer but no more - enjoy that $200 - you won't be back. What a rip-off!

We design and manufacture custom cabinetry for Robert Valenti and worked with him to design and make all the cabinetry for his project. The entire project was so clean and well managed. We first met Tony, the owner of Ruidoso a few years ago when he was working for another company. At that time Tony did an outstanding job on the remodeling of our bathrooms. Since Tony has formed his own company we have used him for several jobs around our home. My brother recommended Santa Cruz remodeling to me and they gave me a great price compared to other contractors I called. Nate and Curt are involved in my project. They did a new AC installation in May 2021 and redid the ductwork, and it works great. I was pleased that they only request money as the work progresses. With the supply of goods, labor shortages, and delays at city hall with the permits, it's been a process, but I'm well satisfied with the quality of the work. but Currently redoing the laundry room; the walls are made of of cement and stucco, but the tradespersons never complain.

McCurdy Construction is awesome. My wife and I wanted to close in a room with a closet to make it a third bedroom. After receiving different estimates, we chose McCurdy Construction. We are so happy we did.

The company's crew did a great job cutting out and then installing double doors. The crew members -- Derek, Manuel and Dave -- did a wonderful job cutting out and then installing the double doors to our now bedroom. They are professional, polite and extremely neat. They covered with plastic all affected areas and then took their time to thoroughly clean up. Derek also impressed me by doing such a great job putting up the mirrors we wanted over our fireplace and in the den. He measured everything to make sure they were in the right places and Manuel and Dave helped him put them up.

Kudos also to Rob, who explained everything that would occur, and to Tom, who took the time to understand what I wanted and then correctly measured everything.

The owner, Mike McCurdy, emailed me every night to let me know the work schedule for the next day. Talk about a company being customer focused.

I invited this company to take a look and design a remodeling for my bath. Although I got 1 hour off time from the work, the owner, Kelly Brown, came 45 min late to the appointment. Before this appointment, she called me 3 times for appointment verification, but she coming late without an excuse was totally disappointing. At home, she did not make any measurements. She took some notes and then vanished. No follow up... Even the day she came, I sensed that she was somehow felt forced coming.... very interesting and untrustworthy company.
