Phoenix Home Remodeling renovated 3 bathrooms for us-pretty much one right after the other. At the time we contracted with them, we were exhausted from other home repairs and remodeling. We wanted a company that would make things as easy and painless as possible. And, PHR met that criteria 100%. From our first meeting to scope out the project, through design and then construction and clean up, this company said exactly what they would do, when they would do it and kept their word. They communicated consistently and kept all of their appointment times. Construction was completed in a timely manner (but not overnight!) without compromising any quality. The work they did was beautiful and working with them was a dream. A special shout out to Jason, Steve, Aaron, Lupe and Chris--all professionals and a pleasure to work with.

I recently hired Holtzman Home Improvement to remodel my kitchen and replace tile flooring throughout my home. I am blown away by the quality of work their team provided. Not only were the workers excellent in their respective fields, they were polite, respectful, and wonderful to work with. On top of the quality of work, the team at Holtzman used several virtual tools that made the remodeling process painless. Rob, my design consultant, was able to show me exactly what my new kitchen would look with a 3D design software. Being able to visualize my new space was extremely helpful. I was also able to easily manage my project and schedule through an online portal the team utilizes. I would highly recommend Holtzman Home Improvement to anyone interested in a remodeling project.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

She has be so helpful with my insurance claim since day one! She’s very responsive, available when I need her and overall pleasant to work with. The whole team is amazing! We just had 3 showers installed and we are very pleased with the outcome. The showers are beautiful and a fantastic upgrade. Our installers, Dana Gannon and Todd Hoyt, were professional, on time, and very hard working. They kept us apprised of the progress of the job at all times. We greatly appreciate their skill and hard work. We would recommend them and Dreamstyle to anyone. Ed, our Project Manager, covered all our options and did all measurements. We appreciate his great work.

They broke my water heater and then said they didn't and wants me to pay for it now

Juan and his crew are very skilled and the best at what they do! Their work is very through and the make sure every detail is taken care of on every job. G&C have worked with me on numerous project all throughout the valley. They are great to work with because Juan does a great job of listening to my needs and understanding exactly what I need done. He often will come up with better solutions to getting the the bumps in the construction road that help get us to completion on time!

I can’t say enough good things about Jose’ Granda and Graco Home remodeling. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done efficiently and to our liking. I have worked with Atelier 507 on several projects. I have had nothing but positive experience with them. The team has worked very fast and completed everything within a very short time frame which was very vital for me. They were there every step of the way always answering any questions I had. We have had Shannon and the crew from Five40 do our Kitchen/family room remodel (‘17), guest bath (‘19), and master bath/closet (‘20). Each job was a complete gut and rebuild and required electrical, plumbing, framing, etc. the result of all 3 jobs was phenomenal. We could not have been happier, and we demonstrated that by contracting him for the two bathrooms after we did our kitchen. His quotes were competitive and the only significant change orders were because of design or material changes that we made midstream.

The the best thing about working with Shannon was that he didn’t come into our jobs with opinions about what we should do. Rather he listened to what we wanted and was always enthusiastic about the vision we had and did his best to make them happen.

If we need contracting work again in the future we will definitely us Five40 and enthusiastically recommend them.

I had a great experience with my bathroom remodel. I initially reached out to Hunter for a quote to remodel my powder room and didn't actually call him to start the work until a couple of months later. He was very nice and to my surprise was able to get me on his schedule quickly. He communicated when he would be at my home and was on time. Our Handyman Mark C. did a wonderful job installing two exterior doors and a pet door. The result was above our expectations, AND he finished four hours ahead of schedule! It says a lot about a company when they follow through with everything they said they would do. It might seem like a givin but working with so many builders over the years you learn its not. And when you work with people like Ellen you learn to appreciate it. Hope to work with her again on the next one.
