We highly recommend Homework Remodels! Steve and Sheila spent time providing us with quality blueprints and excellent home décor/interior design selections for our new 400 square foot casita. We live in a historic neighborhood and they have proven experience obtaining the required city permits and approval from the Phoenix Historical Preservation Society. They removed our dilapidated garage and replaced it with an amazingly beautiful and quality-built casita! We would like Ross, our Homework Remodels’ project manager, to oversee all of our projects! He kept the project moving smoothly and made sure the work was completed to high, quality standards. After examining the completed casita, contractors we know gave the work their high praise!

Started the process in Feb 2022. I was told it would take about 3 months for materials to begin construction. 3-4 days for full remodel. Work began end of May. After demo began I was informed that one of my wall pieces was badly stretched. It was the last piece to arrives, so 3 more months to replace it. I had to make last minute alterations to what was in stock vs. What I ordered. The crew brought the wrong pieces the following day so 2 days now wasted. I had a small shower and large garden tub. Was removing tub for mew walk in shower, and existing shower to become open shelf storage. I also paid extra to replace my counter and sinks on vanity. The first crew was very unprofessional and refused to do any work that was not the shower. After 3 days they left and I waited 2 days for a new crew to finish. Showing up between 10-11am and staying until 7-9 pm over a holiday weekend. Yes I wanted it done, but really? So now 7 days in I was told the glass guys would come verify measurements. They showed up late so I had to have a friend meet them. 2-3 wks I was told for glass. It ended up being 14 weeks. Then on install they had to reschedule because someone called in. 2nd attempt they were short trim, and had to reschedule again. 3rd time now 16 weeks we finally are finished. Feb to Sep to get this done. I wrote to my contact about how disappointed I was in their professionalism and lack of communication. I have never received a reply. Customer service is NOT something this company cares about. My end product was not what I ordered, but it is a nice change from what I had. That is the only thing that was positive about my remodel.

Todd Whittaker Drywall did a small remodel In our master bedroom, and from the day Todd came out to talk to us about the project, we felt very comfortable using his company to schedule the work. The estimate was fair and timely even though we had a couple of change orders. We can't say enough about his staff who worked relentlessly from the time they arrived to the time their day was finished. Their cleanup was exceptional! Our project was completed on time based on their original estimated work days. We are very pleased with the finished project, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. We love our new bathrooms! From the beginning to end, Custom Creative did a fabulous job with our bathroom renovation. Jennifer did an amazing job at taking our ideas and making them into a design! She made the design phase fun and exciting as she helped pick materials and gave us great recommendations in layout and functionality. Every person who came to the house during each phase of the project was professional, courteous and thorough in their work. The tile is so well done and everything is finished to great detail. We couldn't be happier with the final product, we went from one outdated bathroom to two very modern, beautiful bathrooms. We would select Custom Creative again for further renovations!

I highly recommend Home Improvements & Moore. Brian Moore and his crew of guys come on time, work hard all day, know what they are doing, communicate effectively (in English), leave the home clean every day, honor their estimates, and produce a fantastic finished result. They have done work in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and back yard. I am happy with all of it and I am asking them to come back and do more. Brian is full of excellent ideas about how to accomplish goals and how to prioritize projects to stay within budget. He is a personable guy who is a pleasure to work with. I appreciate that he takes the time to listen, understand goals, and then suggest the best and most cost efficient ways to achieve those goals. I asked Brian to hold onto keys to my house between projects – while I wait a month for some doors I custom ordered to be delivered. Brian is a contractor I have hired for multiple jobs. I intend to hire him again. I am willing to trust him around my valuables unattended and with keys to my house. That is the highest endorsement I can give someone. This letter of recommendation/review dated January 30, 2023 (hereinafter the Letter of Recommendation) is submitted without reservation.

We are the homeowners that retained Apollo Builders to remediate major damage done to (i) the two-car garage; and (ii) the laundry room. The damage was extensive and required, among other things, reconstruction of the load-bearing walls supporting the garage and the laundry room (hereinafter, the Damaged Areas).

My wife and I are both seniors; unfortunately, my wife suffers from difficult health-related issues that require the intervention of various specialties found at the Mayo Clinic. I stress this point because Tyler Kestner was highly sensitive to these health issues when planning the remediation of our home.

The reconstruction of the Damaged Areas commenced on January 24, 2023, and concluded on January 30, 2023. The Apollo staff were impeccable in the performance of their job, including: (i) on-time arrivals; (ii) assemblage of the materials necessary to complete the remediation without delay or aggravation; and (iii) assuring that each of the subcontractor groups likewise followed the very high work ethic displayed by the Apollo staff.

The restoration of the Damaged Areas is now complete; the work was expertly done in accordance with applicable professional standards. For example, during the work period, Tyler examined continuously the work done by his staff and his long-term retained sub-contractors. (These tradesmen have enjoyed many years’ relationship with Tyler; they also perform their work consistent with the Apollo high work ethic.)

In sum, Apollo, Tyler, the Apollo staff, and assigned subcontractors were the consummate professionals.

I think this company is out of business. I left three messages over the course of three weeks seeking an appt to get modifications done for a disability. I heard nothing and cannot believe there are any five star reviews. Maybe if they were actually in business they could get five stars. Although their voice mail says Independence Home Remodel and this is Mike they do not appear to be in business since they do not answer their phone or return voice messages. They do not deserve your money - either they don't need your work or are actually out of business.

Very professional and prompt service. Qualtire responded quickly and provided us with a very competitive quote for a new tank less water heater. After we approved the job they installed very quickly and professionally. Thank you again!

We lived in our bedrooms while Yourson remodeled the rest of our home. We weren’t sure if this was going to work, but with their help it did. The experience was painless. Every step of the way from picking out fixtures to paint colors was so easy with their help. We felt so comfortable with their crews as the remodel went along. Every suggestion they made was spot on. They raised ceilings, moved duct work, took out a kitchen wall, insulated the attic, put in porcelain tile flooring, gave us new storage areas, and lots more. Again, we were able to live in the house while this was all done. Attention to detail was evident. They really do become like family and they take extra care like you would for your family. We were so happy with how it turned out that the following summer we had them remodel our bathrooms. We left for a number of weeks while this was done and the finished looks were outstanding. They took our 1960’s home and brought it into today’s modern look. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with Yourson Contracting and every person who works there.
