Steve came to my house. Nice guy. I told him the work I wanted done. Reface fireplace, tear down a wall, new flooring and baseboards. My estimates were coming in from $25 to $35k. Steve didn't blink an eye, said his bid would be double. There will be a cold day in you know where that I pay up to $70k for this job on a 1650 square foot house!!! I don't like rip off artists!

We recently purchased our lovely (10-year-old) home in Surprise. While almost perfect as-is, we wanted to do something special for ourselves that would make sense as we age by remodeling the master bathroom. We decided that the existing jetted tub would not be used often, and we didn't care for the small, glass shower stall that lacked privacy and was already in need of repair.

When we asked our mortgage lender if he knew of someone that did bathroom remodeling, he immediately referred us to Custom Creative Remodeling. Under the direction of the company's founder, each team that came to complete their share of the work was absolutely great. Every person was experienced, professional and given the freedom to express their creativity to design exactly what we were looking for in a modern, attractive and functional bathroom. Our designer, Erika, was wonderfully perceptive in understanding our personal preferences and decorating style. In fact, when we visited the tile company to choose materials, she already had products selected that were perfect for our concept. Walking through the yard to pick out granite was a blast with so many amazing products to choose from!

We wish we could give 10 stars for this review. We are so excited to be able to use our new bathroom daily, and even more excited to show it off to visitors! I highly recommend Home Improvements & Moore. Brian Moore and his crew of guys come on time, work hard all day, know what they are doing, communicate effectively (in English), leave the home clean every day, honor their estimates, and produce a fantastic finished result. They have done work in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and back yard. I am happy with all of it and I am asking them to come back and do more. Brian is full of excellent ideas about how to accomplish goals and how to prioritize projects to stay within budget. He is a personable guy who is a pleasure to work with. I appreciate that he takes the time to listen, understand goals, and then suggest the best and most cost efficient ways to achieve those goals. I asked Brian to hold onto keys to my house between projects – while I wait a month for some doors I custom ordered to be delivered. Brian is a contractor I have hired for multiple jobs. I intend to hire him again. I am willing to trust him around my valuables unattended and with keys to my house. That is the highest endorsement I can give someone. If you hire him, you will be happy.

We needed our master bathroom shower remodeled to accommodate a wheelchair user. After hearing about all the problems people encountered on bad jobs we were paranoid about choosing a contractor. We decided to go with Independence because they specialized in handicapped remodeling. We met with Mike to go over our project, got a quote, and set a start date. His crew arrived on time and were courteous and efficient. When a few project hitches came up (which they almost always do) they were resolved to our complete satisfaction.

Independence charged a fair price, honored their quote, started on time, did an excellent job, finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. What more could a customer ask for? I would recommend them without hesitation.

Very professional to begin with, and I am sure a great company if they want to work with you. But, I wanted to tell you about my experience. It was littered with bad communication from the start. I was told I would have a quote within 7-10 business days. This never happened. I stuck with them for over a month trying to be patient, but I got excuses over and over again. In the end they told me my project would never happen. They waisted my time and money when remodeling my home. I would not use them when there are other great companies around.

Wow wow !! From the first impression to the very last I wasn't disappointed. The initial consultation with Nick was very precise and detailed orientated. I was very skeptical about hiring contractors in the area as I've had very bad experiences before. Nick helped me build my dream kitchen, bathroom and complete backyard exterior including an amazing bbq area. Professionalism is beyond words for this company. 10 stars from us !

Sage was excellent.....arrived on time...fixed chain saw and trimmer.....was not able to fix mower....needs carburetor and is not worth the repair....all with Sage was excellent....as far as the service is concerned it was a little on the pricey side
