Horrifying stucco work. But hey, they drive really cool lifted trucks. What do you expect. Half the house is falling off.

We hired Maxum based on the relationship we developed with the designers Jerry & Brian who were very caring, professional and followed thru with all their commitments. We then waited several months for the work to start. We were told they wanted to wait to start until they had all the materials so there wouldn't be any delays once they started. Unfortunately that isn't what happened. They had some really bad subcontractors doing work on our house that were constantly making mistakes like taking out lighting that wasn't being replaced (even after we told them so), installing the wrong tile even after going over all the tile and instructions, building unlevel walls, etc. There was very little supervision of these idiots and when we complained to Maxum, we kept being told what great work they've done on other jobs. After several weeks of this, they finally acknowledged the bad work being done and brought in new guys that did know what they were doing but they didn't get very far since they ran out of tile replacing all the bad work that we had to wait 2 more weeks for them to get replacement tile.
The communication has been awful, they don't contact me until after repeated calls/ texts to them. We're never told in advance what's being done when, how long things are going to take, when we're getting our house back. It's been a very frustrating experience! I hope we will be happy with the results when/ if they finally get done. I don't know how they have managed to stay in business 20 years of they is how they operate. I don't recommend them at all.

They were great to work with starting with Audra in sales, Paul job super, Jay from office to each worker. Communications were great and we are in love with the finish product. Two bathroom remodels.

Had a great experience with Better Than New Kitchens! Dan and his professional team of craftsmen are masters of wood working. They transformed my 21 year old aging kitchen with yellowing maple cabinets into a beautiful white modern looking kitchen. Dan came to my house with so many samples and variety of styles it was amazing! Once they started my job, I immediately noticed their attention to detail. Each corner, whether on a cabinet, trim piece or crown molding is perfectly cut & connected. Dan's experience mixed with his vision for transforming my kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms was spot on. My plain island became a beautiful centerpiece once they creatively added trim to give it depth and character. Dan clearly articulated the cost & timeline before we started and they delivered on both...no surprises. I highly recommend Better Than New Kitchen to anyone considering refacing their cabinets. We were having trouble with some new smart switches we had an electrician install. When we continued to have problems them we contacted Dakota from Republic West Remodeling. I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to have someone that showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would to. He wanted to solve the problems as much as we did. He spent hours going through and correcting the issues created by the original vendor. He made sure everything was working the way it should. We'd highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you!

Jeromie alway went the extra mile to explain and helped with selection of materials that were used. In the end I have 2 beautiful bathrooms that I always get complements on. The Hunt brothers did excellent work. We enjoyed working with Josh and Jeff to produce beautiful kitchen and bath remodels. They were patient, customer-service oriented, and always remedied any issue we came up against. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. We have gotten lots and lots of compliments!

Garth and staff were excellent. They went above and beyond to make our kitchen gorgeous! They were able to repair our dog chewed corners, replace a water damaged pony wall and had an amazing granite guy to do our counter tops. If anything wasn’t to our satisfaction Garth immediately addressed the issue and fixed it.

I invited this company to take a look and design a remodeling for my bath. Although I got 1 hour off time from the work, the owner, Kelly Brown, came 45 min late to the appointment. Before this appointment, she called me 3 times for appointment verification, but she coming late without an excuse was totally disappointing. At home, she did not make any measurements. She took some notes and then vanished. No follow up... Even the day she came, I sensed that she was somehow felt forced coming.... very interesting and untrustworthy company.
