Best Remodel Project in Phoenix AZ

As a first time owner doing renovations I was beyond nervous about finding a contractor to work with that I could trust to be fair with us and deliver quality work on time. After going through two projects with Capital Mark I can honestly say that working with them has been one of the best experiences I've had as a homeowner. Kyle Zimmerman (the owner) is highly responsive, honest and extremely communicative about every step of the renovation process. You will never have to worry about Kyle not getting back to you or not knowing what's going on with your project.

My husband and I worked with Kyle and his teams on a full kitchen remodel and full master bath remodel in our home. I was so impressed by the meticulous detail Kyle kept on both jobs and how well organized him and his team were. There were rarely any deadlines missed and if there were schedule changes they were very clearly communicated and the work always got completed in a timely matter.

Given the complexity of supply chain issues we were dealing with in this pandemic time Kyle could have easily padded costs and timelines but he never did and will do everything he possibly can to make sure the agreed budget doesn't change. I spoke with many contractors prior to signing with Capital Mark and Kyle by far had the most fair pricing without compromising quality of work.

Capital Mark helped us from concept to design with both our projects and their designer Nancy was great in helping make my vision for the master bath come yo life. Both contractor teams we worked with (Larry on our Kitchen and Eric for our bathroom) we're highly professional, on time and helpful in making sure we got everything we wanted in our renovations. Everyone was extremely responsive and I never felt like I didn't know what was going on or to be expected with our projects. We looked forward to having them in our home and would work with both teams again for future projects.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience than working with the amazing & talented group like this company. This was a total remodel of our 20 year old Master Bath! From the very beginning, Mike, Leyda, Greg and their team were Open, Creative, innovative AND Patient with all our questions and requests ! No matter the point of the project- at the end of the day, you could eat off the floor. Their customer service is one of best we have ever experienced! Our kitchen has been finished for a few weeks now and we love it. They were very reasonably priced and we were happy to support a growing business. Counters and cabinets are all good quality, and any issues that we wanted fixed they were willing to do no questions asked. The whole job was finished in about a month. My only major criticism is communication about scheduling could have been better. Overall, I’d recommend them and we are so grateful for our new beautiful kitchen!

Shannon at Bespoke Builders is awesome. He’s work is high in quality and efficiency. Shannon responded quickly to a request for an estimate and was to meet me at the project site and provide me with an accurate quote quickly. Shannon was professional and was able to complete his work around our busy clinic schedule. The quality of his work is high and I am well pleased with the final product! I would recommend Bespoke Builders to business owners who are looking for quick, efficient, and highly competent general contractor work!

Amazing experience with Ellen and all of her team. I would highly recommend White Builder. Professional, TRUSTWORTHY, and they care about your projects. I'm a huge fan and we're looking for other work for them to do around our home because we trust them to do an excellent job.

We have used Lon for two major redesign projects (kitchen and bath) in the last few years. We couldn’t be more pleased! Lon and his crew were attentive to our needs/changes and worked hard to overcome two big challenges (gas line and plumbing overhaul) that came up during the projects. His crew was great to work with and above all they’re quality craftsmen! I would highly recommend using them and we certainly will on our next project.

DRC State of the Art built a little addition for me last year that included a bathroom. I’ll keep this short and to the point: my family and I have done a lot of work with contractors in our day and working with Dale Cox is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Point blank.

I contacted Red Ram about some major exterior remodeling work I'm having done. It includes building a large attached patio cover, re-siding my house, and installing a new roof.

Daniel came out and we discussed options. He mentioned some alternative siding options I hadn't considered. I appreciated this because I believe the contractor is the materials expert, can make good recommendations, and it's important to me to find someone experienced in using/installing the products I ultimately decide to go with. He said it would take a week or so to get me an estimate for the work and some estimates for the different siding options so I can make an informed cost/value determination on which product to go with.

It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from Daniel or Red Ram. I tried calling to follow up but there was no answer and no call-back response to my voicemail. I understand this ultimately means he probably doesn't want my business but ghosting is inherently rude and ultimately unprofessional. A simple message saying this isn't a project we want to take on would be sufficient. This seems to be a common issue in the contracting world. To each her/his own, but based on my experience, I feel this company lacks integrity.

Very shady general contractor. Ghosted me, left my rehab before completing the project and stole money. Do not use this guy. Save yourself the headache and money!

We got a qoute for our project November 2021. It took months to get through permits, etc through the city. I realize this is not their fault. It turned out to be almost over $20k over their quote!! For a rooftop patio!! A roof top patio that we were told would take about 6 weeks to complete. Obviously it took way longer....We are now in January of 2023!! We had so many hold ups. Lumber prices went up, we had 3 different electricians out here, so many things came up over and over again. People in and out of our yard for months. My office is in my backyard and I couldn't work from there for months. I understand projects can cause issues but this was way over the top. We asked for deadlines and they were all missed over and over again. We had cracks, leaking, and then our travertine was flooded. They said it was a home owner issue, but my husband took work off that day and took pictures of everything.Turns out someone didn't cap a pipe from months ago and caused a leak in our yard that's been going on for months. We paid for that for months. We weren't given a disount for ANYTHING! I was so unhappy with how everything was handled. We waited days and weeks for issues to get fixed and no apologies. We paid throughout the process and when we owed our last payment, we were contacted to get it resolved immediately. We have several other projects that we want to do for our house but will never do this again with this company. If you make a mistake or over promise...make up for it. You FAILED!
