Todd Hoyt was our service tech. He was on time, called before he arrived, and completed the needed work in a timely manner. He was efficient and courteous. Nice to have a company that stands behind its work!

Homework Remodels remodeled our kitchen, backyard, patio, and two bathrooms. They restored our second-story balcony when its floor leaked. Their work was excellent. Steve Shinn designed the kitchen and the patio. We have been completely satisfied.

TWD really got me out of a jam when an inspector discovered a damaged attic truss in my condo attic. Facing a short turnaround time to sell my condo, I searched the Internet to find an available repair company licensed to do residential structural repairs. TWD responded to my request and understood my short timeframe. Within a few days they had inspected all of the trusses, taken several photos, and given me a plan for repair. They set me up with their online project site where I could track their progress and download photos. All contacts by phone and in person were friendly and professional.

A few days later the repairman came over. He covered the floor and walls surrounding the attic entrance. While making the repairs, he photographed each step, and was done and gone within an hour.

I forwarded the photos and the project contract and receipt to my realtor, putting to rest any concerns the buyer might have.

In summary, this was a simple job costing me less than $400. Yet TWD treated me as if I was a long-time customer. I will certainly call them for remodeling work on my new home. I highly recommend their services.

Very professional, friendly, on time, and they did great work installing the electrical & my new video doorbell.

I hired XLT Construction to remove old carpet and tile from my home and install brand new tile flooring. It was a big job and they completed it in 1 week (and even worked on Thanksgiving to ensure it would be completed on time).

Price: I received quotes from a few other companies and Leonel’s (owner) price was competitive and the lowest quote overall. I like that his quote provided materials such as underlayment and grout. I also liked that he was able to provide a virtual quote through video conference since this was my preference during the covid-19 pandemic.

Work: the demo guy worked really hard and efficiently to remove the old carpet and flooring. There were several other guys that skillfully laid the tile and ensured that the pattern had a good amount of variation. It turned out fantastic and looks like a new home. The guys were respectful and worked diligently.

I would highly recommend them.

Waited weeks for appointment to replace slats on 6' gate. Greg shows up late with no materials to do the work. Proceeds to go find materials and returns with nothing. Does nothing. Total waste of time!

They did a good job, and went the extra mile to make things look nice.

We selected Retro Pro for a major remodel project (kitchen, 3 bathrooms, wall/slider to the outside, and whole house flooring) after getting quotes from 4 different companies. We went with them because of Eric's vision after he heard what we were trying to accomplish, the time and energy he and Angela spent on us just to get an initial quote, and the trust and respect instilled in those first couple of meetings. First time home owner and never had the need for contractor services, I was taking to my neighbor and she recommended Brian Moore. Brian came out and he was very knowledgeable about the complex I live at and had done a lot of work for other people there. He inspected what we wanted done and during his time there we found out our water heater was 25 years old and a water supply valve was corroded and needed to be replaced. He knew the supply valve was the cities responsibility and we had to contact them to have that taken care of. That saved us from having a leak, money and the liability from damage to our neighbors!! We had him install new baseboard, new water heater and a scale prevention water treatment system, stretch the carpets, re-caulked the bathrooms, install new appliances and install recessed LED lighting in the kitchen and the living room. Brain and his team exceeded our expectations! The quality of work, always on time, their professionalism and the value we received was greatly appreciated. We can't wait to have Brain back for our kitchen remodel! He has earned our trust and we would recommend him to anyone.

Robert was easy to work with and willing to take on all of my special request. Our work only extended through the planing and design phase, but he managed all the details well. I was able to speak face to face with the project architect, and he worked with the City of Mesa historical district to complete all permits(they are a pain). Overall I was pleased with the communication, design and planning that occurred during my project planing phases.

This business came and remodeled my kitchen! They did such an amazing job! If I ever need any other improvements done to to my home, I know who to ask!

Randy helped me with a sink faucet replacement. Was the most reasonable quote I received, out of 5 other companies. Very prompt responses from the quote to getting it scheduled and I had to reschedule a couple times and he was flexible each time. He came prepared had the old faucet out within just a few minutes and the new one installed perfectly, also within a short time. Will definitely ask him to help with several other projects in the future.

I had Jeremy out to do work on my house in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic. I selected him after an exhausting review of handyman/contractors (as I had already been taken to the cleaners by my HOA & insurance recommended contractor). Jeremy was a breath of fresh air and even more knowledgeable & HONEST than the writeups depicted. His rates were fair, he listened when discussing issues, he knew his stuff, had a great team (himself, Oscar, & Dustin) and did an outstanding job! [Myriad of work performed: Installed - exhaust fan, wall drop table, handicap bar outside shower; repaired good-sized window frame leak; restored deck ceiling and cracks due to excessive downstairs jackhammering after flooding (no one else even wanted to come out & look at the deck. Jeremys team came out and acted like no big deal (with no huge price tag – they were wonderful)! Cemented light crumbling of stair edges; & patched up rusting around tub overflow valve].
