I used ATR to install a security door, mount a tv, and to install an outdoor electrical outlet, as our home was somehow built without one. We’d been running everything outside from an extension cord through our garage. I’m grateful for the recommendation of ATR! They went right to work and did all the jobs quickly and professionally. The tv looks great and so does my security screen. They were super friendly and their prices were extremely reasonable. I had Jeremy out to do work on my house in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic. I selected him after an exhausting review of handyman/contractors (as I had already been taken to the cleaners by my HOA & insurance recommended contractor). Jeremy was a breath of fresh air and even more knowledgeable & HONEST than the writeups depicted. His rates were fair, he listened when discussing issues, he knew his stuff, had a great team (himself, Oscar, & Dustin) and did an outstanding job! [Myriad of work performed: Installed - exhaust fan, wall drop table, handicap bar outside shower; repaired good-sized window frame leak; restored deck ceiling and cracks due to excessive downstairs jackhammering after flooding (no one else even wanted to come out & look at the deck. Jeremys team came out and acted like no big deal (with no huge price tag – they were wonderful)! Cemented light crumbling of stair edges; & patched up rusting around tub overflow valve]. Ross explained the problem clearly as to what the problem was and what parts are needed to fix the issues. He did not even charge on that day as he could not use the parts that I purchased because they were wrong parts. I made a follow up appointment after I purchased the correct parts he needed. He came back and fixed the repairs. I wish more handymen were like him.

He even accompanied me to Home Depot to help me select the right hardware and project items to ensure I didn't overpay or end up getting the wrong items for the job and used several pieces of hardware he already had on his truck at no extra charge.

3. Amazing attitude - I have dealt with handymen in the past that feel their skillset is too advanced for small tasks or basic things I simply don't have the time to do myself. Derek was friendly, personable, and enthusiastic about every project I threw at him, from complex tasks like a custom hinge replacement on a self-closing door at my restaurant to weed removal at my rental property. He was not only happy to help, but was genuinely enthusiastic about adding the work to his day's tasks.

4. Fair pricing - Derek proved to me that he is an experienced problem solver with a deep set of knowledge from years of professional repair and maintenance. There wasn't anything I had for him that he couldn't do and do well. The bang for your buck with him his the best I've experienced in 15 years of using handymen in the Phoenix area. My prior handyman recently retired and Derek was happy to match his rates and pick up where he left off.

Joe answered all my questions prior to setting up our job, arrived on time, did the work in a clean and professional manner, and communicated every step of the way. In fact, he needed to return the next day to paint an exterior surface that he repaired and needed to dry, and he showed up on-time and I did not even need to remind him. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business.

I just called to see if interested in work! When answer phone he was unprofessional just a hello not a company greeting. . Was pretty rude honetly! then before finshed talking it was im busy it be a month and hung up. Sounds like you need a break or find another carrer not dealing with public!!

Greg is a rip off artist. He charges extreme amounts to fix things. He won't provide bids he just does the work and sticks you with the bill. Please don't use him, he will rip you off.

Oh boy I hoped to forget this incident but here comes a reminder to review from Google when I am looking for a handyman this time...

I got about 1/3 of what I paid for. First job was to install a range hood with 6 inch diameter vent. Company sent one handyman for what was definitely a two person job. He ultimately got the hood up with my help (I happened to have the morning off) but ended up missing the mounting brackets, which had to be completely redone by myself and family, causing a several month delay to find enough time to do the job.
Second job was to install a garage door opener, which he did. However I specifically had the office employee note the existing prewiring and pointed it out to the handyman before starting the job. This time I was not around and returned to wires stapled to the ceiling and walls. The lack of attention to detail on both his and the office employee staff is disappointing. It makes me doubt the experience of the company as a whole if they didn't know what prewiring looks like.
I feel bad for the handyman since he was genuinely trying hard, yet shoddy work is shoddy work.
