I scheduled an appointment and was able to have someone out within the week. John called earlier that morning to see if we could move up the time as he was running ahead on appointments. I agreed and he came out and assessed the roof. No current repairs were needed but he did provide a suggestion related to the new installed a/c and the materials used around the seams.
John took his time to explain every concern I brought up. He also gave advice about extending the length of the roof life. I will definitely use Scott roofing in the future when I need to replace my roof or any other needs.

This company did a great job for us. We had a leak and they came promptly, gave us a quote and explained what was needed and discussed options. They replaced our roof quickly, since they know we had the leak. They were polite, easy to deal with, and professional and completely cleaned up afterwards. Our realtor had Jack the Roofer come out to assess our roof during the inspection period prior to our purchase of our home. He clearly explained that the roof is original on the nearly 30-yr old home. He said he could do some minor repairs to buy us more time instead of having to replace a roof immediately after purchase.

The repairs held and bought us three years exactly as stated. Jack the Roofer just completed a full roof replacement (we have tile over the home and our garage is flat) for us. They did an amazing job. They showed up when they said they would and the quote we received in the Spring stayed the same even though we waited almost 8 months to perform the work.

The cost was higher than some, less than others, but the reviews were consistently very complimentary especially when it came to the quality of the materials and work. I am now pleased to be a happy customer. Jack is very pragmatic. He says what he does and does what he says. I’ve since referred a few neighbors to Jack for their full-roof replacements and they are equally as pleased with the quality of the work.

I recently used pinnacle roofing to replace he underlayments on my roof. The job itself appears to be well done, however they left a mess behind when they were done despite the contract stating that they were responsible for cleaning up all debris.

As background, I was scheduled to have our roof done in mid July, however pinnacle called me in late June to see if I’d be interested in having them come early. I was going to be on vacation was assured it was no problem as they did not need to access the house.

The mess started they day before I left for vacation which was the first day they started working. After work, I came home to find our pool filled with debris and nails that could’ve wrecked the pool cleaner. When I called pinnacle to explain the issue and my concern given that I’d be out of town, they told me that the pool should’ve been tarped and that they would take care of it.

I returned home from vacation after the job was complete. I immediately found ~10 large nails in the driveway that could’ve easily wrecked my truck tires. I also walked to the backyard to find all of our plants dead and the pool water dangerously low. I later discovered that the water to the house had been shut off while I was gone and not turned back on.

I called pinnacle about this and while they did come out to inspect the quality of the roof work itself, I received no apology for the nails or the water being turned off. Instead I was told that they didn’t turn the water off to the house and that it must have been someone else despite them being the only ones at the house that week. When I asked to be refunded for the $200 we paid to replace the dead plants, they would only credit $100 (this was a $12k project). Their lack of accountability to the sloppy cleanup job by their team makes me think this is a common experience with this crew. If I were to do this job again I would use a different company.

Happy Anniversary to Starkweather Roofing! 20 years ago today on 3/7/1997, we were awarded our first job - an asphalt built-up roof on a Boston Market located at the southwest corner of S. Alma School Rd. and W. Main St. in Mesa, AZ. It's now a Burger King, but that roof is still on the building keeping the inside dry... so they can enjoy the rain.

Curtis-C Roofing came recommended by our builder and we noticed two cracked tiles . It was about a month until we could get on the schedule. When they arrived they were on-time professional and quick. The customer service was great and the lady on the phone was very informative and helpful. They will be our first call for any other roofing issues.

Great customer service, honest, quality service

It was time to replace our roof, but we had heard so many horror stories that we were worried about finding a good roofer we could trust. Fortunately, a neighbor (we live in Scottsdale) recommended Scott Roofing. All I can say is that they were very straight forward and explained everything really well and did what they said without any surprises. My wife and I were extremely pleased and will recommend them to our friends.

Last year I had Arizona Native Roofing re-do my roof in an attempt to be proactive in caring for my roof. They did a phenomenal job. This year again, I am being proactive and had them re-do the tile portion. I was completely satisfied last year and I am again completely satisfied this year. During the most recent storms I had no problems. I trust this company and I trust the owner.
