We bought a 100-year-old Nashville home in the fall of 2018. When the home inspector flagged a few issues with our electrical system, we began looking for an electrician with experience working in older homes. We knew John was our guy when he came out and spent two hours walking through the place with us. He mapped out exactly what each area of the house required and helped us sort through what needed to be done now vs. what could wait for later. As he performed the work, he communicated continuously with us what he was encountering behind the walls (with older homes there are always surprises) and what that meant. Another reviewer used the word consultative to describe John's style. That word perfectly sums up what it is like to work with him. Ask our toddler what she is doing with her plastic hammer and screwdriver and she'll reply, Pulling out knob-and-tube with John Dorn! Beyond that, the quality of his work is fantastic. Our home's electrical system is now modern, safe, and reliable. He'll be coming back in 2019 to finish a few smaller projects and we will be using him for all of our electrical needs going forward. We enthusiastically recommend John to others who want the job done right.

I was looking for an Electrician and I did a Google search and found GPH Electric. You never know what to expect but I put a bunch of weight on the reviews that I read online. This company received positive reviews so I gave them a call. I received a quick response from the owner, Phil Harvey. We setup an appointment and Mr.Harvey arrived as he promised and gave me an estimate on the work that I needed done. The quoted rate was very competitive so I gave him the job. I am really glad I did. He arrived back at my house on 11-19-12 and completed the quoted job in a quick and efficient manner. I have a follow up job for Mr. Harvey and now that my wife has seen his work she has a created a new list of items that need to be done. I've had a tough time with our build and let me tell you it's few and far between to meet such good people as Brent and his crew! He has gone FAR above the call of duty to connect with us and offer THE BEST communication anyone could ever hope for in an electrician or a sub contractor. I would recommend them over and over again! Thanks Brent for being the best out there! Our experience has been the best possible! I wish it could give 10 stars!

Very friendly electricians!

I called them in the morning to replace a hard-wired smoke detector and they were out that afternoon. Steve was very professional and on time which was a plus for a mom like me! He quickly installed a new one and didn't mind my 3 year old watching him. I would definitely use Lin-Dell again for any of my electrical needs.

Technician was so nice and appreciated his punctuality. He was able to identify the issue rather quickly and their pricing was affordable for the repair needed. I would recommend them to anyone who is needing electrical repairs.

Sub par work and drivers who road rage/lane straddle teach your drivers to be more courteous

We had them come out to install a bathroom fan and switch. They installed it, but they knocked an extra hole in the wall and put two switches offset from each other. They left the hole, the guy said he didn’t do repairs. I tried to get them to come back out to fix it, they wrote one afternoon for me to write the electrician myself to schedule. Since then radio silence. It’s a bit of a nightmare, having guests with a hole in the wall. Just call a better company.
