Reza Electrical arrived on time. Electrician found problems and corrected in timely manner.

Deb and her team at Veritas Electric are rockstars. Deb's estimate was clear and competitive. The work that they did was impeccable.

They swapped out light fixtures, replaced old outlets, installed new exterior outlets, and replaced recalled breakers that I didn't even know were lurking in my panel. Deb walked me through how to get compensated for the recalled breakers and generated extra invoices for me in order to streamline that process.

I'll only use Veritas Electric moving forward -- it really doesn't get any better than this.

Was able to book and ask questions over email with ease and quick responsiveness. Dan came out and was very friendly, professional, and efficient. It only took him about half an hour to fix some electrical outlet issues but he knew what he was doing.
I knew the costs up front which was helpful which was an hourly rate. The only thing I would ideally change would be in the industry (not just this company) of charging partial service hours for smaller jobs much like if you take your car in that the service rate is high but depends on the duration of the work. I understand the need for a minimal hour charge though. Would hire again if needed.

Tried twice to do business after a personal recommendation from a realtor. Once I had Chuck over for a quote to rewire my whole house. When I called the business the man who answered the phone accused me of lying, said there’s no way Chuck would agree to get me a quote in less than 5 days and accused me of making it up? It was strange. Two days later I got my quote emailed to me from Chuck with an apology.
Today I called to make an appointment to update some outlets. I was ‘schooled’ that it didn’t require re-wiring, told that I probably didn’t buy tamper-resistant (I did), and offered an appointment 2 weeks out. When I mentioned that was a long wait, he asked if I was talking to other electricians(?), said he wasn’t going to ‘hold an appointment for me if I was just shopping around’ and raised his voice at me- it was all very strange. AVOID. I called As You Wish, dealt with a LOVELY receptionist and have an appointment for Monday for over $800 of work. I have a $20,000 rewiring quote from Chuck I won’t be using. Your loss, Bowie.

Very good service! They are funny guys and I really like the teenage guy with a beard. I’ve just been wondering- what happened to the really attractive blonde guy did he move away?

Our smoke alarms were malfunctioning, sometimes going off in the middle of the night. An electrician from Konsker came to try to investigate. They couldn't find a problem, but replaced two smoke detectors. (The problem persisted.) For less than an hour of work and $70 of hardware they charged us over $550. I would avoid this company.

I called Luke electric with two problems, neither an emergency. Jason responded promptly and came the next day. I live in an old house, so nothing is as simple or direct as it seems. Jason and his associate got everything working, explained what I needed to know, and left me with a completed job and a very satisfactory experience. Highly recommend.

The work is completed and inspection went through. The charger has worked without problem - the only issue I’ve had was with the inspection details. Leaving final rating as 2/5.

(Update 1 year after installation)

Marcus never requested the electrical inspection for the work until I called him 8 months later wondering about it (inspection is supposed to happen no later than 3 days after completion of work and is supposed to be requested by the electrician). The inspection caught a lot of seemingly obvious issues (outlet box wasn’t grounded, no outlet cover, that kind of thing). For the last month and a half I have been trying to get Marcus to come back to finish the incomplete job, but he has been unresponsive and dodgy, clearly placing me low on his priority list as compared to his new jobs.

The bigger companies might charge you a few hundred dollars more for what seems like a simple car charger installation, but you get what you pay for.

I reached out to Origins Electric to have a 240v outlet installed in my garage to charge my vehicle. Marcus was extremely reasonable in his quoted price, and he was very flexible as to scheduling the work. After I had to call off our original appointment due to time constraints, he offered to come out on a Saturday morning to do the work and followed through on it.
