Want to say thank you and to give kudos to Uli Alfaro and Ely for their great care in installing a new furnace/ water heater in my mom's house. Uli's response to the install was quick and yet took the time that everything would be perfectly in place and it met my mom's high standard of satisfaction. They were both so friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable in answering the many questions we kept asking about the install and the equipment.

Rescheduled my first appointment approximately 2 hours before the arrival window. They did reschedule it for the next day. Charged $701 to add freon to my A/C unit to between 5 and 6 pounds. That seems very high from past experience. Unfortunately I did not know what was wrong with the unit beforehand so I could not price shop. Technician did not notice a valve was open on the system before pumping freon into it or before leaving the residence. No telling how much of the freon I paid for was immediately leaking out, but they still charged me for all of it. 2 stars only because the technician was very polite and quickly returned to refill the unit once I notified them of the open value I discovered myself.

The technician was very nice, professional and courteous! We had the motor on the blower that pushes hot and cold air through the vents quit. Of course it was a holiday but Golden West offers 24/7 service and we managed to grab a slot! It did cost more but we faced several days in a motel so we felt it was worth it.
