Martin did a really good job locating an electrical problem that prevented our whole house fan from working. He did what was necessary (even when it was troublesome) by climbing into our attic through a vent to locate the problem. We are very satisfied also with his work to replace our aluminum wiring fixtures with copper pigtails. Thanks, Martin.

Slava and his team did excellent work. They installed a sub panel on a garage, re-ran a circuit in my house, and installed some heaters. I don’t have the greatest understanding of electrical work, but they explained things very well and were transparent with their work.

Their pricing was the best out of the bids I received for the work, but it doesn’t seem that quality was sacrificed in the slightest.

I already have referred S Star Electric and will continue to do so.

I am looking to buy a house and needed a rough estimate for some electrical issues that came up during the inspection.
I was told to e-mail over the report and the electrician would look it over and get back with me. The next day Nigel gave me a call in the morning and spent 20 minutes talking with me about the issues and what was possible to be done and what issues were the most important from a safety standpoint. He gave me a rough number over the phone and when I asked for something in writing to bring to negotiations he then said he would spend another 30 minutes putting together an estimate for me the next day, so I had something to bring to negotiations with the seller.

He did all this knowing full-well that there is a decent chance he would not get the work since the seller may go with someone else or may not be willing to fix the issues.
This level of customer service is rare to find nowadays.

Rip off merchants- I scheduled Heart to provide a quote to reroute five lines of electrical conduit on the outside of a property. We are looking to move the conduit lines out of the way so we can install an egress window in our basement. Heart rescheduled the appointment a total of 3 times which wasted a significant amount of time simply taking calls, letting tennants know etc. When they finally showed up, I explained what we were trying to do and would they please provide a quote. They stated they would have to replace two entire electrical panel for the building rather than simply move the conduit lines. The reason they provided was otherwise they'll be much liability which sounds like a very convenient catch-all explanation to misquote and overcharge customers. They provided a quote of $19k!!!!! It's honestly hard for me to understand how they came up with that solution and price and seemed to be interested in finding the very most expensive solution to the problem rather than addressing the issue at hand.

Came through on an emergency and got us back up and running on a Saturday. Great company! Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely call these guys again.

I had Sundog replace an electrical panel in my apartment several years ago and the did a fantastic job. We recently moved and they came out to install new lights for us and were prompt, professional and gave us great advice on why the lights we ordered from Etsy were not fire safe. They suggested an alternative and a date when they would be able to come back to finish. I have nothing but good things to say. We appreciated their open communication and problem solving. My experience with Tom at South Metro Electric has been poor, to say the least. He missed 3 appointments to come to my house and install the electric for our hot tub. On each occasion when we called to figure out what was going on and why he wasn't there the folks at SME chose not to answer the phone or call us back. After repeated calls and emails on each occasion we finally got a response from Tom with some other lame excuse about why he couldn't make it. His final excuse was that it's hard to commit. Hard to commit? To making an appointment and showing up for it? That's not the kind of person or place I'm interested in working with. There are a ton of good, and reliable, electricians in this town...I would recommend passing on SME and hiring someone who wants your business.
