Best Home Electrical Safety in Columbus OH

Love this company, will forever only use them for any electrician needs! They are truly do it all. I have had them in my home to install kitchen lights, install new outlets to hide wires, repair outlets, and to install fans. All of which were amazing work. Not to mention all of their workers are very polite, considerate, and are very educated and confident in their work. We have had them in our home twice and definitely plan on hiring them again. We have had Caleb and Rhett both to help us, and as mentioned before they were more than a delight.

I had to have an Outside outlet installed for my pool .. I had the best experience with the first phone call . The receptionist was nice and professional and answered all of my questions even told me who was going to come out . They send you an email with the persons name when they’re going to be there which is great for safety reasons. The technician ended up coming earlier than scheduled which was great... Alec was great he came in showed me all of my options along with all the prices I ended up not installing that day because I had to wait on someone to call back from city office . I called back and they were out here the next morning on time ,job was done professionally and quick .. I will never work with anyone else again it’s always going to be Mr. electric for anything that I need to have done... Highly recommend..

Glen is the MAN! I live in Bexley. Had a very annoying problem I could not troubleshoot, and also wanted some light fixtures hung. His prices are fair. His work is great. He is a very intelligent person, and educated me (I love to learn all I can about electricity - I didn't pay attention in 8'th grade shop). He is prompt. He works very clean (when was last time you had someone work in your home that brought his own shop vac in?). So....yes obviously we highly recommend him (and p.s. I am picky who works in my home).

Bob gave us a price, kept us informed while he awaited parts. He made a special trip to get the last part. He did a great job! Explained what he did and clearly labeled everything. Thanks Bob

I'm highly disappointed. They missed their appointment and didn't even bother to call. I called to see what was going on after the appointment time slot and was told I would get a call back. I never received a call so I called again. I can't seem to get any answers.

Phenomenal!!!! Ralph is so good that you can imagine what it is that you are dreaming to have. It is like HGTV! You explain to him what you want. Have your materials and it’s on. Ralph is working and slowly you see your dream come together. Along with him playing jokes on you like he’s not able to do the job. His helper Tyler is right there with him. So if you need something done and cuts and corners are precise and it matters to you. He’s the GUY.

7-1-20 UPDATE: I called the office and received a call back that day from Patrick the owner. He apologized for the misunderstanding and informed me that electrician was unaware the fees were already included in the quote. He explained that at times there could be additional cost based on different structural layouts, but in my case that was not the issue. He promised to refund the additional charges via check. I think when dealing professionals it’s important to maintain a level of integrity, and I believe Pat is a man of integrity. God is good?

6/30/20 (Initial review): I called around to get quotes and they were not the most expensive or the cheapest, but I proceeded and felt my quote was reasonable for 2 ceiling fans and a chandelier. I was quoted $125 a fan and $444 for my chandelier. When I called the office back and indicated I would only need 1 ceiling fan, not 2. She said to take $125 off and they'd be there at around 9:30. They got there around 10:00 and proceeded to review the job. The election said fans were $150,even though the work order he had in his hand showed $125. He said their trip fee was $69(not included in my quote) and even though the order said scaffolding was extra, he proceeded to tell me I had to pay for the ladder! Which was an extra $80. Seriously??? They were already in my house and I was not going to go back and forth with the labor, but I will call the office and express my opinion about bating customers with 1 price and charging $150 in extras that were not communicated. I mean goodness are you going to charge me for your gas and tools too? The installers were polite, but that doesn't account for their lack of transparency.

I had issue with lights turning on and off in my store. I called these guys. Someopne came and recommanded breaker needed changed. I told him that I didn't think so as I had already checked the breaker. He changed the breaker anyway and charged me $480. He never left me any invoice. After he left, the problem wasn't solved. I was promised half an hour of free diagnostic so i called him again. The guy came, again without invoice, checked lights and said the breaker was off. I know it wasn't. He gave my employees an attitude. Lights were still out. I called another company. The came and fixed the problem within minutes. The issue was in the main panel which the 'My Electric Works' guy never even checked it. I would strobgly recommand not ever to call these guys for any electrical workls.

We’ve used this company twice. Both times I’ve been impressed with their professional attitude, knowledge, and ability to do quality work. I am sure we’ll find more issues that need addressed in our home and will for sure have them back.

The lady from this company showed up 3 hours late and cussed me out over the phone because I cancelled. Based on first impression, this company is not reliable. Be careful.

I signed the contract for a whole house backup generator on August 16, 2022. Every step of the process was more difficult than it needed to be. I had to call for updates as almost nothing was ever communicated to me. I had to pester them to schedule things. After much legwork on my part, the generator was finally installed in late February. As of this writing (May 25, 2023), my generator still does not work, even though it's been paid in full. The techs tested it, but every time we have an actual power outage, it does absolutely nothing. I work from home and the main idea behind getting the generator is that it would protect me from the occasional power outages that happen in the country. So, instead of actually being able to do my job, I have to call to have someone come out and that normally ends with promises that they will come back and fix it later because they cannot correct whatever is wrong with the generator this time. And then burn vacation time because I am physically incapable of doing my work. To say I am frustrated and disappointed is a massive understatement.
