Kyle was our contractor for the day and we were very happy with his all-around customer service, professionalism and abilities to get the job done. They even put a third switch in for the ceiling fan/lights. They did a great job cleaning up too. Second time I’ve used this company and after todays service with Kyle, this company has made into my official contacts list for future use. Excellent job.

Tyler came for an estimate and tried to help me lower the cost by giving different options. Since I have a big project they offer help to do some small extra jobs free of charge which I really appreciate.
Tim is an awesome electrician. He came to do the job and explained everything so I understand what he was doing for the wire. They also offer a very competitive price and take care of their customers. Great company! Great electricians! I called for an electrical issue causing massive issues in my house. The woman I spoke to was empathetic and got someone scheduled as soon as possible. The electrician they sent out was Ed and was amazing from start to finish. He explained everything in detail, explained all of my options including financing and helped make the best decision for myself and my family. He even gave me recommendations for other issues I was having outside of the electrical. I'm forever grateful for their help and responsiveness. I recommend them to everyone!

Tim B provided services. He arrived on time, was professional, respected my home (for example removed shoes when he went in and out) inspected all areas and showed me as well as explained clearly what work needed done. Dave did an amazing job! We are doing a kitchen renovation and ran into several issues and Dave came out and was able to diagnose several issues and suggested ways to fix them and allow us to complete our project. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared insight into other issues we faced. If I could I would give more than five stars!

Ivan stopped over to give a quote on wiring in a new electric water heater. He also explained the benefits of a whole house surge protector and ended up scheduling the installation of both for the following weekday. He was quick to provide quote details and to get us scheduled for our installs. Will definitely use them again in the future.

This is our second time having this company work in our home and we have been highly satisfied on both occasions. I could not say enough great things about Ivan. He arrived on time, was thorough in his explanation of the issue and honest about the cost before getting started. His kindness to us was an added pleasure to the experience.

Kyle was incredibly responsive and worked quickly. We discovered some unproperly installed outdoor electrical work with my chandelier, and Kyle not only fixed the initial issues, but identified additional safety concerns and brought those up to code. Great value for great work!!!

I called My Electric Works in hopes of getting same day service to install a new 50 Amp breaker, run 6/3 wire, and install a 4-prong receptacle for a new electric range that had just been delivered. Austin arrived within an hour and efficiently took care of the rather complicated job due to my quirky old house with crawlspace access needed for some of the work. He put shoe covers on while in the house. He pointed out some corrosion in one of the panel boxes that would need attention soon. Now, this project was pricey, but due to the complexity and the ability to get same day service I cannot complain. I will certainly ask for Austin for future jobs and recommend him and My Electric Works.

Ivan was the electrician sent to me. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and offered up many solutions to fit my budget. He was very speedy yet thorough in fixing my service panel and will be coming back for more work which he carved out of his schedule to fit me in as to not wait several weeks on the repair. Would recommend them to anyone!

Had whole house rewired. Not a easy job. Tim and his crew did an outstanding job. I was impressed. They worked hard and was very tidy in my home. They came in at the best price and were confident it what they do. Very little drywall loss. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. I was so happy I chose this company. I called the company this morning and they had Eric Neal come out just a couple hours after I called. I had asked that he be on the ground at 11 so he wouldnt run into a photigrapger that was at my house and he arrived precisely at the time I requested.

He troubleshot an entire circuit and fixed exactly what needed to be fixed. His work was outstanding; very clean wiring while also very quick.

He saw some issues on the circuit due to weathering (it was an exterior circuit) and he fixed those as well...put in new wire and boxes, sealed an open area...stuff that I definitely appreciated!

Had Brandon G. out to complete a service on our older home. Brandon was extremely helpful. Answered all my questions and kept me up to date after each portion of his job was complete. I feel he was honest regarding exactly what we needed and didnt try and oversell us.

Ivan, the attending electrician was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. After losing power to half of my home they were able to fit my family in for a emergency electric issue we had with our breakers. Ivan thoroughly inspected our panel and found the problem. He also educated my family on the safety hazards and potential issues that could arise. Needless to say, we definitely will be calling My Electric Works from here on out to attend to our future electric needs. I 100% recommend them.

Ed has been very helplul. Went above and beyond and explained everything he was doing. He found repairs from previous electrician that didn’t work on it properly. I would highly recommend Ed for all your electrical needs. He also gave me some great recommendations and tips on future electrical issues I have.

My Electric Works came to our home because we had some flickering lights. They changed our junction box, grounded our box, and also replaced some light switches. This they did great. I was, however, disappointed because the technician led me to believe some things would be done in the garage to remedy some live wires we had running out there. He pointed out several things done incorrectly in the garage, but then nothing was done in that regard. Also, some pieces from the old meter were left on the patio chair (and one of these had nails sticking out of it). A lot of wire clippings were also left on the garage floor all around the panel; these were easy to see. The jobs they did they did well, and I feel safer. But I also expected more for the price we paid. I’d go with another company next time.

Technician James was prompt and courteous, even when faced with major unexpected complications in the job. He applied all the additional effort with great focus and determination. He reconnected and labelled all the circuits in the house and restored power within the first day, with no failures.

Ed was very professional with his service. My fan installation turned out to be even more than just that. He also inspected our electrical box and found faulty wiring. Thanks to Ed we can now have these identified areas corrected. I would DEFINITELY recommend this service as well as Ed. Thanks, Lisa

To put it briefly, My Electric Works are my electricians; the only ones I think I'll ever call if I can help it. When I first bought my house they did a wholesale update of the outdated panel and outlets throughout the house -- and it's worked perfectly since, including through the installation of solar panels by another contractor, who complemented MEW's work.

They have a well-oiled system in place for sending people out, letting you know who's coming and when, giving estimates and getting work done -- and they handle financing smoothly and easily.

Today was another great example; I have an attic fan I've never been able to figure out, and Brandon got up in the attic with me to figure out how to operate it, what it would cost should I choose to replace it, etc.

I also value that they're a big enough organization with experienced professionals that I'm never waiting to fit on somebody's schedules, or held up by somebody being out sick or unavailable; and their central office is staffed with equally capable people so calls are handled effectively and notes passed on so I don't have to repeat myself.

Want my opinion? If you're taking quotes on electric work, add them to the list; then remove everyone else.

Courteous and rapid response. The rates are a little bit higher than I would have like but it's worth it for the quality of service and knowing the job is done correctly. Their billing system is a little weird but once you understand it you can adjust the job to get the best value

I had issue with lights turning on and off in my store. I called these guys. Someopne came and recommanded breaker needed changed. I told him that I didn't think so as I had already checked the breaker. He changed the breaker anyway and charged me $480. He never left me any invoice. After he left, the problem wasn't solved. I was promised half an hour of free diagnostic so i called him again. The guy came, again without invoice, checked lights and said the breaker was off. I know it wasn't. He gave my employees an attitude. Lights were still out. I called another company. The came and fixed the problem within minutes. The issue was in the main panel which the 'My Electric Works' guy never even checked it. I would strobgly recommand not ever to call these guys for any electrical workls.

Ed came to look at an exhaust fan which turned out to be working properly, he offered a safety inspection since the property was a recent purchase and installed surge protector to keep the house safe. Great job, fast and efficient.

BT arrived promptly. Very nice and professional. Jumped right in to the faucet repair. Analyzed the problem and took care of it.
I liked him very much and was quite impressed by him.
