I contacted Bates Electric because I had power outages in multiple places inside my house. They took my information and scheduled an appointment. The morning of my appointment, Bates called to verify someone would be at the residence. Shortly after that, I received a phone call from the technician named Thomas. He verified my info and gave me an ETA of his arrival. He arrived at my home on time and called to verify where he should park. He started his service call paperwork, verified my power concerns, grabbed his tools and went right to work to find the problem. Upon finding the problem, Thomas explained to me what the problem was and what he was going to do to repair it. Once repaired, Thomas went around to make sure all non-powered issues had been corrected. He was very professional and showed to be extremely knowledgeable in what he was doing. I felt I was in good hands right from the start. Bates and Thomas come highly recommendated from me.

When the contractor came to our home and they looked at the project with would have been putting in a leak detecting system. After standing outside of their van for 20 mins they gave me an estimate of 500. Fine! Then after trying to get it scheduled and standing outside of their van for another 20 mins they said they were sorry the price would actually be 1,350! That’s a large jump in price esp since this ball valve will only take tops 30 mins and we were buying the part! Not impressed

Tray and Brown completed a spring/summer HVAC service inspection and determined one of the three units needed additional gas charge. Appointment was made and they returned and charged the unit. Tray and Brown are courteous, efficient, professional, and informed me of each step of their work. I am pleased with the work completed. Great job by both.

Mike and Paul were fast in doing my repairs and was very satisfied with the work I had completed to my home. After all work was done and they were paid 1 day later Paul (owner) texted me and stated all the possible repairs were not needed and sent money back to me. This showed me they are men of integrity and honesty which are priceless to me. Thanks again guys

It's easier than I thought getting electrical work done with COVID and the semiconductor shortage. Anyway, Bates was excellent. The electrician knew his stuff and did not mess anything up. He got everything done a lot faster than I expected for a project as big as the one I had. I’d hire them again for another project.

Arrived at appointed time, installed pull-down attic stairs, replaced light fixture, checked and replaced flickering light bulb and changed furnace filters. Cleaned up and removed from premises all trash, and finished much earlier than estimated appt lenght. Will definitely use again when needed.
