I had a recent service appointment with Viva to remedy some electrical issues for one of my clients. Jeff and Cody showed up on time and were very professional and thorough. The took care of the issues easily but were also very considerate of the customers needs. I recommend Viva Electric all the time and will continue to do so!

I've used No Shorts several times for clients jobs, and they are unrivaled in their punctuality and job performance in my opinion! Their scheduler is fantastic, and they have so much pride in what they do---I always feel confident that they pay close attention to detail and follow any instructions that I give them. They are my go-to electrician, and my clients love them!

I cannot recommend Dominique enough! He was outstanding. Worked tirelessly for many hours with his helper to make our basement just perfect. He was timely, efficient and a true professional. Communication both before the job and during was impeccable. He is amazing!

It is great that Bates has superb customer service folks on the phone and was able to send someone out to install a 240V outlet in the garage as early as the next day and the two gentlemen who showed up were super nice ... however ... despite the costs being explicitly stated in advance ($80 trip charge, $80/hr labor, plus parts), I ended up being charged 1.5 hours for just over half an hour's worth of not quite professional work. Two reasons for that: a) I was apparently charged almost an hour for the technician's time to go shopping at Home Depot for the most basic of parts (an outlet, a box for the outlet, a few feet of cabling, etc.), and b) the person who did the work was the new guy and although he was experienced, he was clearly being supervised by the more senior tech for a reason. End result? An outlet that's not flush with the wall because a few corners were cut. I don't get why I have to pay you labor rates to show up at the job site with the proper equipment when I already told you what I needed to have done and I even sent you pictures _well before_ you arrived at the job site. It's not like this person had to leave my home and go far away and then come back (but even then, shouldn't you have some of these things in your truck, especially on the day of the job?). I'm sure he stopped at the Home Depot on the way from his previous gig to this one. I feel like levying a trip charge and labor rates for shopping is technically double-dipping. When I brought up these concerns to their customer support folks, I was told someone would be calling me back (after much resistance and arguing; they're exceptionally trained ... I felt like I called an insurance company to file a claim). Well, three days later, I haven't heard from anyone.

UPDATE 08/24: After getting nowhere with the back-office folks, the owner himself was kind enough to speak with me, hear me out, and send Justin out to make it right by his customer. I really do appreciate that. I am definitely pleased with the end result. However, I think it's important for customers to know, up front, that they're liable for the electrician's time spent procuring the parts needed for the job. If given the choice, I would rather go get them myself instead of paying labor rates for that Home Depot trip. It could be that I'm just that naive and that this is how the entire industry operates.

Jay went above & beyond. He did a phenomenal job installing a new outdoor outlet for me & replacing an older one. Jay was respectful, informative & friendly. He also provided much needed knowledge & eased concerns that I had about a plug & play Hot Tub/metal gazebo that I have. Will definitely use GB Electrical again. Excellent service.

I got bussin chips and the windows r big and cool to look out of. Best fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’d give it ten stars if I could. Very swaggy. Very drippy. Owner is extremely girlboss.

Henry is very professional and fast, he found out what the problem was within 10 minutes and was finished fixing everything in 45 minutes. I am very satisfied and pleased with the great job he did. I even referred him to my grandmother because she also was having electrical problems but not anymore Henry took good care of us.

The guy was extremely rude.

Over the past ten years I have called on Paul several times for various construction jobs. He did all the outside finish work on my garage, he also replaced a couple of doors for me. One of the doors he installed was for a non-standard opening and some how he found a way to make it work. I have always found Paul's work to be professional grade at a reasonable price. I will use Call 1 Home Repair for future projects.

Quick response

Joe is a nice guy, but is terribly, terribly unreliable. He does not show when he says he will. He ultimately, refused to respond to our inquiries. He talks about his work being warranteed, but NEVER shows up to fix. He claimed to fix items that he did not address. He was electricrician of record on a residential project, that was delayed months because of him, and then refused to stand behind his work. Ultimately, we had to hire another company to come in, costing us $$$$, and considerable embarrassment, and damage to our reputation. It has been the most disappointing building experience I have had in over 20 years.

Confirmed time to look at job. (5 days before appointment)

Called 5 minutes before appointment and said he was too busy to handle and cancelled. Didn’t offer another solution.
